    Your neighbor definitely has a genius idea of coming up with that garbage can vacuum method and great information on Leaf blowing how to get them up easily instead of raking them up and doing a lot of walking✨

    Great video I learnt something. I went out and bought a real powerful blower though. Echo PB-9010T. This thing is a beast. My neighbor laugh and said it’s an overkill. I didn’t laugh because I have several trees in my backyard and I have been struggling for years to clean up the leaves. No more problems with this beast. I love it.

    @polofieldslawnservice I came back and watched this video again. I especially like how you move the leaves off the fences and unto the property. It’s easier to handle like that. I normally put the leaves in bags, large plastic containers that I get from sanitation. I use my lawnmower with the bag on to collect the leaves. A lot of my neighbors put the leaves in piles near the sidewalk for sanitation to pick them up. That works but when the wind blows it just scatter the leaves on the street and sidewalks so I never do that.

      @maggarlion You sound like you have a great plan, Maggarlion. I'm my neighborhood. We don't have the option of bringing the leaves to the sidewalk. They do have that option in other communities, but not mine.

    This one was for me! I got the black and decker leaf blower/vac. I was able to get a kit to attach from the vacuum into a trash can like the one you showed. This helps not having to empty the small bag so many times. Showing how to get the leaves out of a corner was what I needed to know. When you know you know!

    I bag my leaves with my mower so it chops them up into smaller pieces and then bag them. Using a "Plastic Leaf and Lawn Chute" to hold the bag open helps a ton!

    • @PoloFieldsLawnService
      @PoloFieldsLawnService  2 года назад

      Yes Sirrrr Eavee, bagging is definitely another option and the plastic leaf chute helps when dumping leaves on the bags 💪🏾

    I blow my leaves into the yard from the fence, garden and from against house. Usually only takes about 15-20 minutes. Then mulch with the lawn mower in basically the same as normal lawn cut. After a few years doing this my lawn is thick and the soil is rich. Have not used a rake or bag in 40 years.
    Why pay to throw away all that rich mulch then have to pay to fertilize? And the time savings over bagging and disposal is enormous.

    • @PoloFieldsLawnService
      @PoloFieldsLawnService  2 года назад +1

      Totally understand Starley, you have a valid point. I normally will do the same but some people like to bag their leaves. This video just shows them if they're gonna bag their leaves, different ways that they could do it. Appreciate your comment Sir

    When the pile is high, I would rather bag the leaves or rake them then blow.

    I use my blower to get them spread out over the yard then hop on my riding mower with a grass catcher and get it all up in a hurry.

    Mulch it down then bag.

    • @PoloFieldsLawnService
      @PoloFieldsLawnService  10 дней назад

      @DoctorRickSanchez You can do that, but it would be hard to get those chopped up leaves out of a thick lawn vs. a lawn that is bare
