@@FishingWithChris_Tv I've been wanting to try there, but haven't gone yet. If you ever need a fishing partner, I'd be more than willing to go. I fish the chick, watts bar dam, ft loudon dam, and hiwassee.
Thanks. Drum are very underrated in my opinion. Especially the bigger ones. The smaller ones are kinda meh but the bigger ones around 10-20lb can bully you quick lol
@@robmetcalfe8902 yes, lack of respect for personal space at this spot is why there won’t ever be another video on this channel from this spot. It can be dead empty besides yourself, you catch one fish and there’s 15 people standing next to you, some disrespecting other anglers by nearly hitting their boats with 4-10oz leads and baits.
What fun !!!! My arm and shoulder was aching just from watching ! Mostly drum, a big cat would have been nice. The pre-dawn footage was a great composition piece. When I saw the human, only then do you realize the enormity of the area. Keep 'em coming. Randy B.
How nice of them to fish on top of you.
@@Fire84569 and that’s why I don’t fish there anymore.
I enjoyed this video. Nice change.
Drum love crawdads! That color on that jig is an eyecatcher to them! They think it's a crawdad!
Great channel. Glad I found ya.
You where the drum king that day
How did you rig your pole for fishing the dam ?
Straight mono to a spoon. At the time I was using 15lb.
Drums or not, I'm so going on this side with my grandson !! Way more action than the other side of the dam where we usually fish!
Good luck getting a spot on the walkway lol people have no respect for personal space over there.
@@FishingWithChris_Tv question I have a Penn pursuit iv Le medium light with 2500 reel would ten pound braid work over there
Drag being pulled gets the juices flowing !!
Heck yeah. Down where I am we call it snatching and use a shorter stiffer rod. Great video.
Those dam drums lol
Have you targeted striper off of hwy411? or up in Reliance?
Not reliance but I have caught some in the conasauga

Super video
I tried fishing Chickamauga a couple times but no luck. It was ripping both times and not easy to fish. I bet its holdin some monsters though
That looks like a lot of fun. Great video Chris.

About how deep is this area, right in front of the spillways? I was getting hits jigging at 8-10' but someone told me it's almost 30' deep.
In front of the flood gates it’s anywhere from 10-19’ according to navionics. I’ve been told in the turbine holes it’s supposedly 30’(ish)
@@FishingWithChris_Tv I see. By turbine holes, do you mean the "tunnels" right by the dock?
Dang son do people just come in on you like that I’d be pissed

@ I don’t blame you it was shameful but you handled it well I would’ve went to jail lol
Nice change of pace video. Keep it up!
