Couple little things: 86 Arch, not 85 No combat shown because you can kill whatever you want T3 rituals (90+) are all similar xp rates - Powerful Communions are the most efficient on your supplies and fill well of souls so that's the one I am going to do. DO NOT UPGRADE ARMOR TO T80 UNTIL LEVEL 90 AT LEAST
Thanks for the guide! Might I suggest that using the "chapters" feature for future guides. I'm not saying that the guide isn't great quality, it definitely is! But chapters, especially for guides, help a ton!
Yo dude, I know old video but at level 20 how do you upgrade weapon? Edit - figured it out. Speed to the ghost blacksmith guy for a task and once done you to got the fury force behind him at back of room
Best explanation of necro for an ironman. Iactually halfway understanding it. pretty sure im just making it more complicated cause of the ritual part of necromancy.
Another tip, u can hybrid some task, for example, i did the nex task with necro and ranged, ranged for blood and ice phase and necro for the rest, just be sure the most damage done come from necro
If you can complete requiem for a dragon, do that and do rituals at the Unagel site for about 900k xp/hr. If you're not close to that quest just do any combat. My go-to was Hermod for 30 plates and then I just did slayer the rest of the way
Why are tou killing only undead and ghostly stuff? Like when you say you decided to kill ankous for exp. Why I swe everybody killing undead things in order to LevelUp necromancy?
Salve ammy is +20% accuracy and damage against undead. Low level combat is slow mostly because of terrible accuracy, undead and ankous already don't have a high defense level so this is what I usually kill for combat xp
Greater 4x Multi 2 and 1 Speed 3 to stay above 301% attraction for more xp. 99+ put multi 2 on cape (3 at 103) Powerful 3x Multi 3 and best multi on cape
I've heard from some that darting after blood phase could work so long as someone else throws it. I've heard from others that it doesn't work at all. I wish I knew more but I just duo'd my kills doing higher dps and came back to help my duo for theirs also. Thankfully, Ambi is simple (CURRENTLY) you can just tag and have someone else dart
ive been rawdogging lesser necroplasm for fucking hours and now i just happened to saw this and lets just say i dont feel like kmsing myself in game anymore!!
21:42 for ashes method, can also do abyss if worlds are open For vials of water, buy from herb shop in Taverley/Meilyr or decant potions and use Humidify lunar spell
Only the males can be seasonal, so just put studly on both parents and get rid of the females and plain rams. If it's a seasonal ram (springsheared ram for example) just harvest it when it grows.
If just xp changes, no. Currently xp rates here are 2.7m/hr so even a 50% nerf still puts it above nearly every combat method. But if other things are changed like mementos not being infinite anymore I'll rethink the training methods after 35k souls
Most of these are word of mouth so I don't have a detailed setup: Abyssal savages in wildy (over 1m xp/hr) Abyssal beasts (not sure if in psd, wildy, or dungeon) Ravenous ghouls (always aggressive with some blood essence in pocket slot) - super afk I did risen ghosts since nobody ever kills these and they were pretty afk, not great xp compared to the other 3 methods (again I haven't done the other methods so can't confirm)
You can boost from 90 using an elder ovl (I think it has to be at this point for a +13), you can't boost your cape glyph so that one you have to be at 103 for or you can use a multi 2 for that
bro im one minute in and you hidden levels 5-20 inside of the 1-5 section. I don't get how this stuff is so hard for people just say what the information is and where don't pussyfoot about oh fun fact im wasting your time
Edit: leaving my rude comment below to shame myself for taking out a general frustration on a creator that is actually good. Ignore this comment please, its just me being mad that i dont have any of the stuff FlySell recommends at the beginning of the video and feeling like im being discouraged from training necro till i have them, which is NOT what he said. I'm so sick of guides starting out with "spend 500 hours before you do this". I dont see this nearly as much in osrs guides, whats up with the rs3 community and assuming everyone is a new max lvl main?
I'm confused. All my content is for ironmen, it's literally the first word in the title. Also the first thing I mention is that you don't NEED anything to start the skill, but it's helpful to have
@@FlySell Hey man, im sorry for my comment honestly. I have some questions regarding training necromancer and most of the guides are ppl that are mega high level and have access to scrimshaws and aggro pots and player owned dungeons and a bunch of other stuff im super far away from. When i see those guides it makes me feel like im wasting my time training the skill till i get those things, and i got about 5 minutes into your guide, assessed it as another one of these instances, left a needlessly rude comment, and left annoyed. That was wrong, and im sorry. I dont really have a community to talk to about these questions, since my current clan is a bunch of maxed raiders that never talk, and the youtube guides all feel like they assume you are maxed. Its really making it hard to have fun with the game, so i get salty and posted mean stuff like i did, which is childish and im sorry :/
@@FlySell That would be amazing, thank you! preface: i am cmb lvl 71 with not a single skill above lvl 60. No overloads, no player owned dungeons, no aggro potions, none of that mid/high level stuff. Necro lvl 49 1. is revolution ++ a no go? I see a lot in the community saying its basically bad to do anything but manual, but im hoping they are wrong since manual just feels like im playing world of warcraft. i chose runescape as my mmo because its chill and i can grind while at work :P 2. your guide basically points to combat as being the main way of training necro. If the answer to my first question is "thou shalt use manual action bars for necro combat" then can i do rituals for afk xp? If so, what kinds of rituals do you feel are easiest to afk and get materials for on ironman? 3. in terms of combat, is necro actually worth using while leveling slayer? or is it a boss killing skill? interested in your opinion both from a "meta" perspective and from a "chillscape" vibes perspective. Feel free to answer any number of these, and thanks in advanced for your time :)
@@estusf1ask I definitely agree that manual is a lot better than revo for necromancy, revo is still good with the right bar of course it's just manual is a lot better. Unfortunately, most of your ritual xp come from actively doing the distractions, doing afk rituals is most likely going to be less xp than combat. That might not be the case for your account since your overall combats are low but hard to guess on that. Just clicking start ritual and not interacting with the events might get you about 200k xp/hr, likely only the lesser necroplasm ritual I would recommend that for since higher tier rituals you'd want to chase the event xp. Necro would still be great for slayer, you don't have the slayer helm accuracy or damage working while on task but it's still leveling up both slayer and necro. For bossing, I've really only killed Hermod and done that afk and it was very laid back but I also have the best overloads. I would say the higher your overall stats are the more fun you CAN have with it, I would definitely try to get some extreme necro pots or overloads for combat to be a lot more enjoyable.
Thank you kind sir. this is definitely a huge help to us fellow crazy ironmen
This guide + the calc is literally what i was looking for. What a legend. Thanks to you and Choocypuss.

I did 70 to 90 in the Abyss. Blood Siphon keeps you up indefinitely. I ended with over 15k ashes in the bank just by occasionally hitting loot all
Yo dude, I know old video but at level 20 how do you upgrade weapon?

Yeah rituals are complicated for no good reason, thankfully the wiki has a good calculator now that helps a ton
Another tip, u can hybrid some task, for example, i did the nex task with necro and ranged, ranged for blood and ice phase and necro for the rest, just be sure the most damage done come from necro
That is super helpful, blood phase without knowing how abilities REALLY worked was quite the challenge
Would you still use Attraction 3 since or Multiply 3 now for Powerful Communions? (since ritual xp got nerfed)
Got nerfed but still better than almost every method for necro xp. I'd still use attraction 3s
if you get a tome of um you can drop the fungi and pick up the ash and it will move it to the bank
Yo, know this is an old video but how would you train from 80-90 necro nowadays? Thank you for the vid

The ability to read? No one on runescape has that requirement
Seriously tho, thanks for the guide. Glad i took a break after hitting 70
Truly a very elitist requirement
Just a shout, but make sure you guys are going back to the Prayer place to get your new Necro Prayers!
Very informative! :)

Powerful 3x Multi 3 and best multi on cape

@@FlySell it's actually 84 you need in order to boost with elders to 103
That's fair. Can't boost for the bigger ritual site so still wouldn't do any rituals until level 90 and then boost
