Art supply hoarder - yes!!! 😂 and I love every little bit of this or that, every pencil, pen, paintbrush, odd little bit of charcoal, almost-empty tube of paint. I love them all!!!
In my life I have always been told I'm not good enough and that stuck with me. I love doing art but because of my self belief that I'm not good enough I gave it up and got lazy. So now I'm trying to get back to it and do little things but I over think and get frustrated that it doesn't look right. These ideas are so helpful and as a type I am doing the hand :)
Never give things up that you enjoy. I guarantee Michaelangelo's first attempts at art would not have been good, if he gave in we wouldn't now have the many wonderful works he had left for us to admire. Remember everyone has to start somewhere and enjoying the journey is more important than the destination. Best of luck stay strong and before you know it you will reap the rewards.

I mostly like to watercolor and have never been one for doodling. I really like your sketchbook videos and often watch them for entertainment while my husband hogs TV with baseball. Recently tho, he had (successful!) bypass surgery. There was a lot of time in waiting rooms and sitting in hospital. I did a bunch of your doodles! It was good for me to be able to create SOMETHING with just a small sketchbook and pen, maybe 3-4 colored pencils. It was so good to give my brain a break and have your ideas to copy. Thank you. People always offer “what can I do to help” when others go thru something like this. I wanted you to know that you provided hours and hours of “help” to me when I needed it!
I'm actually just scratching the surface of rediscovering that art can be fun again, and that not all art *needs* to be made to sell as originals, prints, made into merchandise. That, combined with my depression, anxiety and all other things, it's been hard getting back to my roots of WHY I like doing art. These Sketchbook ideas have been helping me out, and I wrote a small list of things I want to do in my sketchbook. I've done a few so far, but still working on some, and trying to take my time and not rush through it. Seeing more sketchbook ideas would really be wonderful, and thank so much for all you've done so far! I'm looking forward for more in the future :)

Oh, you changed your hair!! LOVE IT!! I put all my art into a collage book and I'm up to page 300/600. I used different papers, stickers, and washi tape to highlight my work. It also gives me a reason to buy from artists so I can add the artwork of people I admire on RUclips to compliment my pieces. I'm trying to teach myself to use a sketchbook and not put everything into my collages though just to be able to things both ways. These videos really inspire me to open my sketchbook and keep my things in there. Thank you so much for the fantastic ideas, Mira!! I hope your house hunting goes well! Also, it would be fun to see a drawing of your D&D character. Take care till next time :)

I really love the wave one,because having all my worries just rattling around in my head is something I really struggle with,and sometimes I have a hard time expressing them and getting them out,and of course releasing stress about them. The wave one is such a simple way to relieve some stress,it's amazing. I also really love the hand one because it has some nostalgia of being a kid and tracing your hand but with a twist! Love your hair! For my family, we have been doing a sketch book challenge. There are 6 of us (3 young girls, my daughter and her husband and myself). We rotate the person that picks a theme and we all have to sketch something. We have done "animals", "happy family", "flowers", "garden", "Fairies" etc. It is so fun to see what each person thinks of and it doesnt matter how perfect they are. We do it for fun. We are all about half through our sketch books now and plan to keep going.
Wow, you actually painted one of my all-time favourite paintings!! I've had the great fortune of seeing it live in London once and for some reason it really spoke to me and moved me, even though at the time I wasn't really into art necessarily - I certainly had no such strong emotional connections with it, anyway. Thank you, it was beautiful :') Also, the whole video was very inspiring, as usual.

I have Parkinson’s and like the waves, I can’t keep still either. I’m going to try the waves page because although I’m learning to draw and doing pretty well, my lines are so shaky today which is why I’m fed up. By the way, I always stay to the end. You inspire me. Thank you for everything, I’ve learned so much and I make art because of you.

Same! And my mom showed me to color in all the little spaces in the scribbles so then I started doing it as a little kid…memories :)
