What a majestic turn to the right then to the left then towards runway!!
Landing in Funchal a few years ago was an adventure. Before they extanded the runway. I remember an aproach from Lauda Air ( 738 ) where the crew tried to land and gave up after their 2nd attempt and diviated to Lisbon.
Yes,I think so too.Due to its short runway and adding the approaching over the ocean , may be very stressful
