what makes people think that those structures are not created for gliding, floating and so on, like a giant flying still stage shaped as a bird? ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgMnusInkwtwiTtozQPbRnVtj1Jeoy5bz?si=MTsK2WIu5B41YkBO
I've been in the avian field for the better part of 35yrs now. Having worked "hands on" with everything from Warblers to Birds of Prey. I can truly say just watching the various gulls battling to fly in that wind tells you a lot. When a bird is flapping it's wings it's hardest and isn't moving you know the wind is strong folks...!!! Nice job by ALL of these pilots in these challenging weather conditions. 60+mph winds are no joke and i'm sure A LOT of those folks on the passenger planes are quite happy to be on the ground. I've got an 11hr+ flight coming up in October. From Boston Logan to Honolulu non stop first class. I'm celebrating my 50th for 2 weeks over there as it's my first time visiting. I'm looking forward to my very first "First Class" experience on a plane. And how the A330-200 handles on such a long domestic flight. I'm sure it will be great as i've heard many good things about Hawaiian Airlines being one of if not the top U.S. domestic airline.
I had the great privilege of flying on one in my first time traveling out of the US, went to Italy but had a layover in Amsterdam, biggest plane id ever flown on, up until then it was just 737s and a320s for domestic travelling, such a beautiful beast, felt like the aisle just went down forever and ever, flew very comfortably, we even went through a storm and it handled beautifully, and on the second leg to venice from Amsterdam I got to fly in an embraer e175 which is very uncommon in the US, got to see the alps it was quite spectacular, never gonna forget it. KLM triple 7 is a beast
All I know is that some of us work and get paid a salary, whether we did enough to deserve it or not (I know I jam the copy machine every single time in my office), but these pilots prove that they earned every penny every single time they land or take off without killing a hell of a lot of us all at once. I especially admire them when they can handle a crosswind trying not to crash that tin can, and then go for a do over. Yessss, we are not worthy.
@@renemarin8933notice on the first KLM he only put the nose wheel on the ground just as he came off the reverser, wonder if hes landed there before 😂

It may look nice to hold it up as long as possible but the correct procedure is to land nose gear (obviously without smashing it) as soon as practical specially on strong gusty winds! You can see the plane refuses to seat on the runway as he hesitate to pitch it down!
❤ Schiphol Airport Amsterdam 🇳🇱👌 I love it...where I had my office until 2014...and many simulator trainings B737 and Airbus. But Jumbo B747 is my favourite...👌😊💪👍😄🇪🇦❤️🇳🇱
Emirates, sweet landing at 20:27, they have some great pilots 👍👍 actually all these landings were incredible in this weather, they must get a lot of practice.
Amazing video thank you for enduring this bad weather to bring us this great display of pilot skill and machinery! Also thank you for not using music! I noticed something interesting. As the Air Canada A330 goes past at 2:04 in the background - is that an Aeroflot A320?
24:22, here you can totally see a small bird, or possibly several get sucked into the engines, as well as a few small birds that get thrown around by the wing vortexes. One gets absolutely launched by that left wing vortex.
Atlas Air. Weapons transporter for the Empire. You can see them every 3 days or so flying into Rzeszow Poland from all the most popular American weapons manufacturers' depots.
We landed in Manchester a few weeks ago in the uk storm. It really wasn’t pleasant. The whole plane was silent. And no one moved until the plane stopped at the terminal. 😢
No music; just the natural sound of the wind. I love it.

Boeing 747 never ages. Still one of the best looking and handling planes ever built. Same with the 777 .
I love any videos of 747’s they are so majestic and beautiful!
It's just some boeing shitbox calm down
the best aircraft still airbus however in 2024 and forever. boeing too much conspiracy
@@IBo99608You're joking right, why would your mammy say that about you.
@@IBo99608 disrespecting the 747...zero ball knowledge 🤣
Those landings...pure art! Beautiful to watch.

Fair play, man.
It is nice to see the Boeing 757 and 767 still flying with you. here in Ireland These planes are very rare.
Fantastic piloting skills on behalf of the pilots to bring these huge birds in safely and gracefully!❤️👍👌

Absolutely beautiful footage!
I find these crosswind landings
Incredible, mesmerising, stunning and calming all at the same time.
Weather like this separates the men from the boys. Outstanding piloting by these crews
The very first 747 Atlas was beautiful! What a landing! Great job Captain!😊
Yeah, I caught that too. Great landing. Textbook.
It could have been Kelsey from 74GEAR.
I’ve always admired pilots and I always will.
Wow absolutely amazing video!
This is awesome! Finally no annoying talking and goofy music. Just flying and landing.
Thank you very much! YES, just pure sound! :D
I like it too… but I wouldn’t mind some commentary on why the Etihad plane aborted the landing
Hats off to these amazing pilots!
You should become a mechanic

Ahhh come on, do't be like that, you MUST have at least 1 special gift that these pilots don't have?

Os pilotos tudo se lascando pra colocar o avião no chão e de vez em quando passa uma graça voando na maior tranquilidade 😊😊😊
There's pride taken in flights. The wind is just a challenge. Great capture .
I have never experienced this, I don't know if I am curious enough to be in one. Kudos to these experienced pilots
Thank you for the amazing video
Your welcome!
icelandair did the best touch-down. They know how to fly.
Good weather conditions are there as rare as these conditions in video here...or is it 300vdays a year stormy around your house?
The skill level of these pllots is amazing...

The A380 💪🏻
