Or murshidabader chuntney? I haven't heard like any of this so far.In fact I have heard from other Indians calling it Kolkata food.It is very ridiculous that you addressed a very trivial matter🙂

I made it with what is known as "Drilling Festkochend Kartofeln" here with low intensity Indo-European spices. Was not sure while cooking but the outcome was amazing and the flavour was just what I was reminiscing. Kudos to your robust measurements, which I think is the key. We use to make aloo dum and poori for bhog after Saraswati puja in our para (area) for all the people who generously use to donate to us kids to carry the Pooja tradition for our club. I have this conflict wherein I am aware about carbon footprinting and going energy efficient ways and then know that the taste of food is somehow better when cooking is done with more time in traditional ways. Would like to know your thoughts.
