- Hey Flameborn! I temporarily lost my marbles and became singularly obsessed with doing a permadeath Enshrouded miniseries where I'm not allowed to damage enemies with weapons! Fists and Skill Tree only!
Ooh! We snuck it in before the Ring of Rapacity nerf! ("butchering" is probably a more apt term)
In this second episode, the shortest of the series, we tackle the second biome. Next stop: Highlands!
I think I got it out of my system and can finally, actually return to Valheim hahaha! I hope you'll pardon the brief lapse in sanity.

Yes, the full set of "the Guard of the North" is in Pikemead, and it's a pretty good set of lvl 13 armor for anything out of the shroud (the full set takes out about 3.5 minutes out of your shroud time) and still works in the shroud with some care. The pieces are scattered around but always in the same places. I used the set for a sizeable part of my playthrough.
I think there are complete sets of archer, wizard and warrior armour in pikemead too. They're all free to find lvl 13 kits, probably worth investigating/routing to see what would fit in what crazy runs you come up with :)

1:03:05 Who would've thought that a series of 'nos' in various intonations could create such an entertaining and engaging commentary? I felt every 'no'; each one was a different shade of painful.
I'm relieved you managed to avoid that fashion crime (1:48:40), although you were carrying it around for so long!

I finally got to finish this and it was a blast to watch! I loved your death edits-really well done and a super fun addition. They're also a huge reminder of the tenacity it takes to complete a permadeath run. 🤯
Of course, my favorite moments are where you look at that dreaded item in your inventory and decide NOT to use it... I yelled, "NO!" one time when you were considering it, lol. (of course I know that stats are really important in a run like this so I'd get over it, but he DOES look pretty handsome in the magic hat, just sayin') 😏
Haha, for sure! I might have lingered a little long on some of those hovers on purpose for dramatic effect lololol
Hey Thread, awhile since i been able to watch... Great edits and strats... really surprised the amount of damage you were getting on the big boss but the elixirs are op no doubt. In fact since the giant nerf they are one of my go to for damage... Can't wait for the next episode, keep up the great work.
Yeah, elixirs definitely huge for this run
