Looks incredible. One of the main reasons I passed on this batmobile was cuz it looked green, and no Panther suit Batman. I just wished the actual toy companies had this much love and care for the products they sell.
Thank you! Yeah, on one hand I get it because they have to make it a certain way to keep the price point, etc. But it would be nice if SOMEONE would make it in scale with the right details.
I think they initially went w the sonar suit to differentiate it from the Clooney Batman and Robin Batman in that set? That’d just be my guess And also it is the suit he wears when he’s hanging out with Robin
You know what's funny about that, is that Clooney's arctic blast suit or whatever, is the sonar suit with some small details added. So they basically wore the same suits as each other, haha.
The finished product is phenomenal. The panther suit never gets enough love and you've done it justice. You've also really brought out the likeness to Kilmer, which gets washed out with the factory paint job on the figure.
Thank you! Yeah with the exception of Henry Cavill, they tend to really do great likenesses, and they always get buried by the factory paint apps. More fun for me, though, haha.
I’m sure they will. They like to roll things out to keep the sales steady, so they’ll probably release it with a variant of the batmobile or something.
What makes you think they won’t? I guarantee you that at some point, we’ll get the Panther suit. Whether it’s a Gold Label release or part of a second wave of Forever figures.
For Batman movie capes use a 4 way stretch vinyl(spandex with a thin rubbery coating)usually readily available at Joann fabrics sometimes you can find it at Wal-Mart, also attach the cape with the fabric side up so that way when folded back it appears to be leather! Thickness works all the way down to 3 3/4 figures, looks better the bigger the figure but perfect for 1/12 scale!

He repainted his hot toys batman forever sonar suit batman with it. It’s a fascinating suit which looks different every time you see it.

@@Ibrahim_M haha great! Appreciate it dude, it's perfect timing as I'm moving and getting a collection set up for the first time. Have been wondering what shelves to use and yours look spot on. Thanks again!
For the panther suit I used Clooney body from the 6pack batfigures, yellow the emblem, then used the Kilmer head and painted black the some citadel base abaddon black, and there it was. For the sonar suit I used the one from the 6 pack with arms and legs from the new one, painted glossy black the gloves and boots Both of them I cut half the upper ball of the neck peg sanded and superglue it to the head (one neck articulation is enough anyway) cause the neck is too high. Love your work, you’re right, having a thicker neck for an accurate cowl is the way to go ! What’s that great stuff ?
companies should start making some kind of magnetic base that gives power to the lights, so we can keep these things plugged instead of batteries. Tt would be nice to walk into the room and when you turn the lights on all the figures and vehicles turn on too.
You can actually get battery pack adapters that plug in. If I had more outlets on my display wall I would use them for sure. It would be amazing to light everything up at once.
Thanks man! I use a small brush, I think a helpful way to approach it is to get a small drop of paint (this can work with the needle, too) and “stamp” it on there instead of trying to paint a circle. The drop will generally just be a circle on its own, of that makes sense.
fantastic job! to bo totaly accurate you should use Robin forearms for the spike on the guntlet but the way you pose it we dont see it so its is already perfect to me :)
Thanks! I filmed a segment about that but I cut it out because the video was getting long. The long and short of it is that I didn’t want to waste a Robin figure on that, and have green paint to worry about at the joints. What’s interesting is that on the movie poster he has the Panther suit cowl with the sonar suit gloves.
Thanks! Theoretically Putting a *good* cape on this guy is very easy, haha. This cape sucks so it was a pain. But there’s a nice gap that you can fit the cape under that goes all around.
Fantastic, yet again. Be interesting to see if you do a Forever Batcave display. Despite not loving the movie, that Batcave set is a favourite for me, with the high-placed catwalk, sonar display and sort of art deco chrome Bat symbol. Oh, and I say this with the utmost respect and good intentions- you know you're gonna do the Clooney Batmobile!🤣
Thank you! Yeah i love that design element too, even though it’s incredibly nonsensical because, like, how did he have that made? And for who? Does he need to remind himself and Alfred that he’s Batman?? 😂 And re: the Clooney car… you’re probably right 😂😂
Fantastic work as always my friend! Your work on the 89 Batmobile started me down the rabbit hole of converting my own, (which turned out awesome) btw...thanks to all your tips and tricks. I'm currently in the process of converting my Forever Batmobile and agree 100% to display it properly you gotta have Kilmer in the panther suit, so that will be my next project...again, ALL credit goes to you, I appreciate all your hard work! Btw... where did you get the smaller ball joints for the feet?
Dude, thank you so much for that! This means a lot to me, and I am HYPED that you took a crack at the 89! I’m sure you feel good every time you look at it. Are you finding the Forever batmobile to be way easier? It was a breath of fresh air after the 89 for me, lol. For the ball joints, I thhiiiiink they came from a 6” Mattel movie Deadshot, but I’m not entirely certain. I put them in my bin a long time ago because I was like “I’ll use these for something”, lol.
Oh I absolutely do man, the 89 was sort of a love/hate , and like you I had to step away from it for a bit, BUT, that gave me a chance to really plot out the paint process (multi layerd pearls) I wanted this thing as close to movie accurate as I could get! Oh man, the Forever is a piece of cake compared to the 89 haha. Between you and Plaztik reality (hope I spelled his name right) my Forever will be just as awesome. Thanks for the info on the ball joints, it's much appreciated man! I look forward to seeing future projects.

Thanks man, glad I could be on the positive side of things for you hahaha! Not sure what it is with people and the constant need to attack others.... Sweep the haters under the rug lol.
Thank you! Sorry, not for sale- I make all this stuff for my own collection. I wish I had time to make them as commissions, but I barely have time to do them for me 😅
Lol wanting less articulation on a McFarlane Toys figure? Now that’s whacky. Nah, I get it. They couldn’t move their heads in the cowls so to be accurate to the films, the necks shouldn’t be articulated.
I don’t have much affinity for that movie (I think I’ve only seen it one time, even). But after doing this one I’m kind of tempted. And the ice suit or whatever that he wore later in the movie was actually just the sonar suit with some stuff added to it. So that’s another possibility.
@@Ibrahim_M I feel ya. I just consider the movie a big budget version of the 60s show and it all makes much more sense and enjoyable. Modding that Clooney figure would be a piece of cake since you pretty much have all the pieces. The face on it is pretty good.
I read recently that they tested a gray and black. I’m sorry gray and blue suits for either Batman forever or Batman and robin. I believe it was Batman and robin, which is why Clooney suit is actually tinted blue.
When or if McFarlane does a panther suit Batman (I hope so anyway) the custom will be the OnStar commercials or the birds of prey tv series Batman (since they used the Clooney suit and colored the oval just like this)
@@yongkim010all of the information I can help with is in the videos, and if you look in the comments, some people have additional questions and I answer them there, so you might find a bit more information there. Thanks!
I wonder if there is some weird licensing issues with the panther suit. All of the Batman Forever Batman merch is usually the Sonar suit. Just makes me wonder
Could very well be. Might also be that it’s the more unique suit of the movie and it was the one from the final act where he was paired up with Robin in his own suit, so they lean toward that. Hopefully we see the Panther suit get more love in the future.
@@Ibrahim_M I hope so too! I do find it interesting that they STILL use the Panther suit for screen tests for any actor who is being considered to play Batman.
@@JoshTurchettadude, right?? They used it in both Batman Begins and The Batman auditions/test footage. And Clooney actually wore it in some of the earlier scenes of B&R, apparently.

@@Ibrahim_M haha great! Appreciate it dude, it's perfect timing as I'm moving and getting a collection set up for the first time. Have been wondering what shelves to use and yours look spot on. Thanks again!
@@TwoTownyou’re welcome! And congrats on the new setup! The shelves are spelled “Vittsjo” I believe, if that helps in your search!
For the panther suit I used Clooney body from the 6pack batfigures, yellow the emblem, then used the Kilmer head and painted black the some citadel base abaddon black, and there it was.
For the sonar suit I used the one from the 6 pack with arms and legs from the new one, painted glossy black the gloves and boots
Both of them I cut half the upper ball of the neck peg sanded and superglue it to the head (one neck articulation is enough anyway) cause the neck is too high.
Love your work, you’re right, having a thicker neck for an accurate cowl is the way to go ! What’s that great stuff ?
Those sound cool! Yeah the cowl really makes all the difference in the silhouette/profile!
companies should start making some kind of magnetic base that gives power to the lights, so we can keep these things plugged instead of batteries. Tt would be nice to walk into the room and when you turn the lights on all the figures and vehicles turn on too.
You can actually get battery pack adapters that plug in. If I had more outlets on my display wall I would use them for sure. It would be amazing to light everything up at once.
Awesome! Do You have a video of that Blade? Looks beautiful
Thank you! I do- it was my very first video of my custom stuff so it’s not very polished, lol. But it’s back at the beginning of the videos list!
Looks great! What tool do you use to do the eyes! Iv tried the smallest brushes and resorted to using a sewing needle.
Excellent work!! ❤❤😮
Thank you! 🙏🏼😁
Figure came out great. How hard was it to put the new cape on?
Thanks! Theoretically Putting a *good* cape on this guy is very easy, haha. This cape sucks so it was a pain. But there’s a nice gap that you can fit the cape under that goes all around.
Amazing
Thank you!
Great job! Big like #606... Bat Toast
Thanks very much, dude!
And re: the Clooney car… you’re probably right 😂😂
Fantastic work as always my friend!
@@camaroxx1 Similarly to the 89/Forever projects, I had a real pain in the ass commenter on a video today, and you, a breath of fresh air, lol. Thank you again for the kind words and friendly vibes, dude! Keep me updated on your project, and holler with any other questions!
Thanks man, glad I could be on the positive side of things for you hahaha! Not sure what it is with people and the constant need to attack others.... I guess it's because they can't "do", so they attack. Just remember, for every one jackass with a negative opinion you have multiple people who are inspired by your talents including myself that are attempting things they didn't know they were capable of so, MASSIVE thank you dude, seriously!!!! Sweep the haters under the rug lol.
@@camaroxx1 Haha, you said it! Thanks again, dude! I really appreciate it!
Nice video sir.
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Great job Are they both for sale the Batmobile and Batman figure how much.
Thank you! Sorry, not for sale- I make all this stuff for my own collection. I wish I had time to make them as commissions, but I barely have time to do them for me 😅
Gj mn u nailed it 😊👍
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Looks fantastic. Still can’t understand why Mcfarlane gave all of them neck articulation
Thank you! It’s a very weird choice e considering they were known as the company that didn’t do articulation for so long.
Lol wanting less articulation on a McFarlane Toys figure? Now that’s whacky.
Nah, I get it. They couldn’t move their heads in the cowls so to be accurate to the films, the necks shouldn’t be articulated.
Sweet! 🤘🔥
Thanks!!
Who's your tailor? Awesome customization! You have created a wonderful toy with this Panther Suit.
Thank you very much!
McFarlane's action figures are similar to the proportions he uses in his art. About 10 heads tall.
Great job but I think I'll wait for the official McFarlane release
I just made this for me, so you're gonna have to lol
You should mod the Clooney one. I think his figure was really decent but moded could be great.
@@FEARisCOLD That's actually the same way I watched Forever recently, and it plays much better if you think of it as a take on 66.
I read recently that they tested a gray and black. I’m sorry gray and blue suits for either Batman forever or Batman and robin. I believe it was Batman and robin, which is why Clooney suit is actually tinted blue.
Ah that makes sense because his definitely looks blue-tinted in the pictures of him in the costume.
When or if McFarlane does a panther suit Batman (I hope so anyway) the custom will be the OnStar commercials or the birds of prey tv series Batman (since they used the Clooney suit and colored the oval just like this)
I think my buddy I mentioned (@ TheseDamnToys) did that with one of his!
How much would want one for that Batman black Panther suit
Sorry, it's not for sale-- I made it to go on my shelf (and I can't do commissions, I'm afraid. No time!)
@@Ibrahim_M OK thanks
I really want Jazz Inc. to give us a 1/12th Batman Forever Batmobile!
Plus a 1/12th 89 Batwing and BVS Batwing!
That would be so cool. They do keep saying that they’re planning to do the 89 in 1/12, and I really hope they do.
👍👍👍👍
🙏🏼🙏🏼!!
Great job, please can u send me it in Paris?
😂 Thank you!
wish can someone help me with custom batman forever batmobile change light and custom batman forever figure too i do not know make custom
I didn’t used to know how, either- give it a try, you might love it!
@@Ibrahim_M can you help me just curious
@@yongkim010all of the information I can help with is in the videos, and if you look in the comments, some people have additional questions and I answer them there, so you might find a bit more information there. Thanks!
I tried this head swap and I thought the head was too big for the Clooney suit but I have to finish the video
No no… this looks great.👍
Thanks!
ANOTHER ONE! (in dj khaleds voice)
😂😂 thank you my brother!
@@Ibrahim_M its the one Bat suit i never saw on display too.
Dude you know you are getting the Clooneymobile don’t try to kid yourself or us. 😂
😂😂 probably!
The Sonar Suit was a silvery gunmetal. The pic you showed is one of the unpainted ones.
Oh interesting, I wonder if there are any pictures of a painted version floating around- all I’ve ever seen is the production photo I had in the video where he’s in a Superman pose, but those are always lit with studio lights
@@Ibrahim_M the custom Panther looks amazing btw. The neck helps
@@Webhead731thank you!
@@Ibrahim_M you're welcome! This guy did a pretty good custom of the Sonar that I based mine off of.

Nice! I ordered another one a few days ago because after resculpting the cowl on this one I was like "I HAVE to do this again", haha. I'm also going to make The Riddler and Two-Face.
McFarlane Toys is good, but it can be better.
Every single time! Haha.
@@Ibrahim_M Great work. Can you give me tips and instructions to make the Batman Forever Panther Suit custom?
Thanks! I actually made a video about that-- it's this one! 😜
