    I've had a lot of questions about how to connect the lights, so I wanted to pop in with a comment to explain it. Connecting LED lights is super simple; they have a + wire and a - wire. After I removed the existing 4 lights from the clear side panels, I used the remaining wires to connect the new lights to. You just match + to +, and - to -, twist them together, secure them with electrical tape, and they should be good to go. If you need a good visual on how to do it, here's a great video from Oiler's Workshop: ruclips.net/video/Yp8lU0zZOuM/видео.htmlsi=OGeP22KCRaDLmhTD. Thanks!

      Did you see any drop in brightness connecting the string LEDs to the car? I tried it but they were much dimmer than being operated via separate battery. Did you connect 2 wires to each lead for increased voltage? Thanks for the assist!

    • @Ibrahim_M
      @Ibrahim_M  19 дней назад

      @@JoshTurchetta So, each clear side panel comes with 2 bulbs in it, right? I removed both of those, and I used the forward-most bulb for the headlight (same connection point but extending the wiring so that it would reach the front of the car) and I used the rear-most bulb's connection point to wire the blue LED string. I did the same thing on both sides. So effectively, they're still powering the same amount of stuff they were before. If you connect too many to one point, they'll flicker or go dim.

    • @JoshTurchetta
      @JoshTurchetta 19 дней назад

      @@Ibrahim_M Ah, I see! You used both strands of blue LEDs, one for each side?
      I use the forward most lights for the headlights as well. But only connected the string lights to one lead and ran one strand through the car and top. It looked much dimmer. But if both LED strands are being used, I can see how that would create a much brighter light.

    I just gotta say that I appreciate your videos so much because you include the how-to aspect of your build instead of just showing it off. Dude, thank you so much! These things are a lot of work to make, and a lot of people just skip to the end to see the finished product (which is fine, of course), but I show the process for people like you who want to try the upgrade themselves. So I really appreciate you saying this, it lets me know that it's worth the time and effort! Have a blast with yours, it's a great one to start with because it's not overly/needlessly complicated to customize, and the result is really satisfying. I bet you'll be hooked, haha. Have fun!

    That is outstanding. Really worth the extra effort. I recently rewatched the movie to check the color (it does look greenish in some shots, so maybe McFarlane was going for that look) and only people with incredible eye for detail would be able to find anything wrong with yours. It looks just right.

      Thank you very much! Yeah I watched it again the other day, too, and it’s definitely greenish in the scene where he drives up the wall. And it almost looks white in certain scenes, too. The headlights have a more yellow tint at certain gangles- all very subjective and I think that’s why McFarlane toys did both, haha

    Very nice.
    A heatgun will soften the LED's in the panels if you don't want to risk breaking them.
    I don't think you need the black plastic inserts. It's just to collect the wires. So tape can resolve that.
    Glad you solved the Headlights issue because I didn't see a great way to wire it. I'll try that myself.
    I hope someone tries just replace the board altogether because the wiring is so simple that an arduino could open up a whole world.

BUT, I remember really not caring for Batman Returns as a kid because I felt like Batman was barely in it, and there was too much weird Penguin stuff, lol. (I like it more now, of course). But Forever had A LOT of Batman, and it had really good Bruce stuff in it, too, and that's always been my favorite thing, when he has to balance both (something I took away from Superman and Zorro). Maybe exclude the weird glow-in-the-dark part, like, is this West Side Story? Nice to see Two-Face in live-action for once, and Robin too, although I think of Chris O'Donnell as basically Nightwing here. Why are you complaining so much in this video? If you’re not interested in audience engagement or feedback, then don’t complain when people stop watching or interacting with your work. In the first five minutes, you dismiss comments suggesting how you could’ve done things differently, yet somehow it bothers you when people don’t give you credit for recreating your work. This comes across as contradictory and makes it hard to sympathize.
    You started the video complaining, and ended it on the same negative note. This community doesn’t need constant whining. Be more appreciative of your audience, without them, you wouldn’t even have a career as a comic book artist or a RUclipsr. Your viewers are the reason you have any platform at all, and constantly complaining is only going to drive them away. The world doesn’t revolve around you. It's time to grow up and show some gratitude.

      I’m sorry that you’re so triggered by me drawing some guidelines here. I respond to every one who comments on my videos (a form of gratitude and community engagement, you see), and so I like to let people know that there are certain kinds of comments that aren’t productive for me or them. You don’t know the kinds of comments I received in previous videos; this is me setting some parameters for my own channel. I’m not doing it for you, so you don’t need to be so invested in it. You may have to eat whatever is served to you in your professional life, but I don’t have to in mine, and that’s something I’m grateful for.
      Folks with your mindset think that it’s negative to stand up for oneself, and that creative people have to just smile and give thanks to people who don’t act right. I’m sorry you feel that way. It’s never been my practice to “shut up and dribble”, and it’s worked out very well for me. Don’t presume to tell me about my career, you know nothing about it or my field of work. Or maybe you just don’t like getting credit for the work you do at your job, idk. Anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH for watching.

    • @brucewayne9000
      @brucewayne9000 Месяц назад

      @@Ibrahim_M No one’s “triggered” by your guidelines. The issue is your constant dismissal of feedback, which demonstrates a sense of entitlement. You claim to appreciate your audience, but when you immediately shut down suggestions or criticism, it becomes clear that what you really want is blind praise. If you're not interested in what people have to say, then don’t pretend to be. Just don’t expect anyone to stick around when they realize you're only interested in stroking your own ego.
      You also seem to take any form of feedback as a personal attack. It’s not “negative” to point out that you’re coming off as ungrateful and overly defensive. When you put content out in a public forum, feedback, positive or negative, is part of the deal. If you can’t handle it, maybe reconsider your platform. No one’s asking you to “shut up and dribble,” but if you think you’re above hearing from the people who helped build your career, then that says a lot about your character.
      Your sarcasm with “THANK YOU SO MUCH for watching” adds another layer of your self-centered attitude. If you really cared about your audience, you’d be able to engage with feedback in a productive way instead of instantly shooting it down. Maybe take a moment to consider that the problem isn’t with the comments or the community, but with the way you choose to respond to them. At this rate, the only thing you’ll succeed in driving away is the very audience you claim to care about, idk. Anyways, HAVE A BEAUTIFUL REST OF YOUR DYING CAREER FAILED ARTIST IBRAHIM MOUSTAFA.😀

      Hey Dave, thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate it! I passed on the McFarlane Tumbler because I had the Modoking version on preorder (I have it here waiting to be assembled, lol). I saw one person (in CHina, I think?) over on IG who made some body modifications to it using styrene, and then they used a 3D printed front end. But it was one of those accounts who only posts pictures and never has any kind of details about what/how they did things, and doesn't seem to answer anyone's questions about it-- you know the type, lol. If I come across it again I'll send you the link. But I don't think they were selling a print or file (but I didn't ask).
      I don't have any plans to do one, but if I did, I'd be using styrene. First I'd create a template out of thin cardboard (like what a cereal box is made of or thereabouts), figuring out measurements, etc. Then I'd cut the final pieces out of styrene sheets (here's a link to an assortment pack if you want an idea of which thicknesses they come in). I like Bob Smith Industries CA glue for this stuff: amzn.to/3zHtzBf
      I don't have that Tumbler, obviously, but I think you could most likely just build something to glue right onto the existing piece. I hope that helps!
