This is great it's only a matter of time before they complete the rebuilding of the trout run steel bridge and now the Cass Scenic Railroad will reconnect its right-of-way between Cass West Virginia to Durban for the first time in so many years since the Greenbrier River flood that disconnected the line

If the cast scenic railroad is taking over the operation of the Durban rocket I wonder if the Durban and Greenbrier Valley Railroad will have to come up with a new name for their scenic railroad? Or are both railroads going to run the line?

Wow, didn't know this month would be the last month they'd be running out of Durbin, WV. But everything has to come to an end eventually, at least 6 will be returning to cass for the first time in almost 5 years.

What do you mean the last run?? How could the opening of a line cause a place to no longer have service?? Could someone explain the situation to me??

@@jacobramsey7624 basically the line that connects Durbin,, WV to Cass, WV is just about completed, so once it's completed trains will no longer run on the normal route the Durbin Rocket has been running on for many years. Steam isn't disappearing in regards to the trains, but once its completed the area where train would depart and board at durbin will become a bit quiet now. Does that sum up your question?

@@evanf1293 yes, thank you. Question, What will happen to the property where people would bord trains? Would Cass trains stop there?

Also, I saw a video once of what is left of a locomotive parked next to the engine shed on the opposite side of the building from the station. Do you know anything about that and what will happen to the 2 truck climax the Durban railroad is using?

@@jacobramsey7624 As for the property idk, as for the climax it is planned to get rebuilt in the future at Cass's locomotive shops but atm it's not being worked on from what I've learned from some friends of mine who have been there themselves or have heard it online.
