Just when i as Thinking about to buy this thanks! projectors hasnt evolved much in recent years but 720p for 100 dollars mark is a decent buy. I was able to watch lots of movies with my 480p old projector at 100 inch. this might be a decent upgrade without breaking the bank.
Pretty much about the same as a few years ago except with 720p being the new standard for that price point, I think the biggest problem with budget projectors isnt so much the projectors but rather the enviroment/setup they are in, whenever there is a lot of light bouncing around in a white walled room its going to eat away at the contrast and color quality.
Same here, my Philips pico pix died last year during lockdown, and I've been looking for a cheap replacement... But it doesn't seem like a big leap in picture quality, and hes right that's not 300 lumens.
That projector and a Google Chromecast with Google tv would be a good couple
does mirroring from cellphone via miracast no sound come out of wanbo and cellphone? only pictures?
And comparing This X1 max and Vankyo V630w - for home use-films, pictures… can you advise please?

I paid £400 for a 420p Anker nebula - love it, and will invest in the 720p version in the future.

You are my benchmark in buying a projector,. Considering power consumption and price, I plan to buy this projector, but I have one question to ask, how is the quality of using this projector for the long term? does it break fast? because I found several reviews that discussed the Wanbo T2 max projector (not the projector x1 pro) damaged very quickly, even in several uses. I'm a little afraid because the price is quite expensive for just a trial and error, plus in my country there is no service center, I also don't know if the parts in this projector are easy to find to repair/replace yourself in the future.

T2 is more powerful so it will use way more power than the T1, I think it should be fine long term. Projectors in general don't really get replacement parts unless they are expensive top end models from big known brands.
I would say the T1 should last you a good amount of time but with all cheap things it will come to your own luck

It depends on Projector configuration and it’s ability, distance changes for each projector

As much as I would like too, I dont have anything that I might be reviewing at the moment, there are lots of great looking projectors now for a bit more or double the price at 1080p but I cant say how their response time is till I test them like I did here.
I would like to review the Wanbo T2 at somepoint.
does it work with any androidtv stick?
Set the aspect ratio to point to point and you will see, that the color temperature will become way vetter and more accurate ;)

What is better, that or old vankyo which one you tested one year ago? And, had you vankyo v620? Its good as v600? I dont want big lag as v630 ..

Vankyo is 1080p so its still better but xiaomi has better response time

reducing the screen size would improve image quality?
Yes, the pixel density will be higher so it will looker higher resolution, and the brightness would increase so the image will overall be more clearer

This X1 projector has awful image quality trust me. By yourself a cheap 2nd hand old Sony, Epsom, Benq or Optoma for bright, superior color balance and blur free images. Compare this projector against the above and you will see how poor it is.
