Signal Bridge Removal - CP Brisbane - Caltrain

  • The signal bridge that was once part of the interlocking at Viscitation for the inbound and outbound freight leads for Bayshore Yard and adjacent mainline traffic when the tower existed at this location, when the tower closed the control was consolidated locally and still was a manual interlocking known as CP Brisbane. Here we see the bridge being removed, biggest issue was liability and of course its usefulness long past. The year is 2000, and a crew was brought in to remove the bridge before most commute trains started to operate for the day.

    The caltrain f40ph-3c 920-922 K5LA sounded like Amtrak P42 in since they begin service 1998 to 2001 yeah thank you so much for sharing this video that is rare to have on RUclips

    I think I have seen that signal bridge there in pictures since the 50's when they relocated 101 and daylighted the tunnel there.
