The difference between PNB and TBS is what receiver protocol you were using. PNB means that it doesn’t come with a receiver, and TBS crossfire is a type of receiver.. what controller/transmitter are you using? Will help determine what receiver protocol to use. They do not have any impact on GoPro compatibility.
The motors get warm but not hot. I can touch them with my bear and after flight. It’s typically the VTX that gets the hottest for me. I have used a few different batteries but my favorite is 4S 550 mAh
Nice video. Does it feel heavy in flight with the GoPro on? Could you still do light freestyle with the GoPro on? I fly a Cinelog30 with a Caddx Peanut. I'm considering an upgrade to the Bones but I'm concerned about the weight affecting flight performance; it still feels pretty light in the air with the Peanut(~30grams). Also what was your flight time with that 650 and the Bones? Thanks!
I personally don't think it feels heavy with the Bones attached. I can still whip it around and freestyle with confidence. That being said, I do notice a slight difference in performance when it's attached, but it's to be expected. I think you can definitely freestyle with it, but it will be nothing compared to a 5 inch ripping the same freestyle lines. I am averaging just over 3 minutes for cruising and just under 3 minutes when flying more aggressive with the 650s.
Great video! I have the 25 and looking to pick up the 30 for my hero bones. I feel it is a bit heavy for the 25. Any advice on tune? I’ll be doing mostly cinematic video tours outdoors and indoors if possible.
Great question, I tuned my rates so that my throttle isn't as responsive. I am not an expert on tuning and don't feel conformable recommending any tune settings. There are some great tutorials on RUclips for cinematic rates. I would give those a watch.
Thanks brother Thomas. Killer videos as always
Thanks dude! good to hear from you James!
I see the CineLog30 on Amazon. What is the difference between the PNB and TBS Nano RX editions? Does this have any impact on GoPro compatibility?

@@TG_Shreds What do you use for a controler?
@@josephoconnor8763 I am using the Radiomaster TX16s with an external crossfire module
How hot do your motors get? Do they at all? My cini 25 with this is scalding hot lol even with 300mah 4s

So I am trying to do this now. The voltage at the plug going from the cinelog 30 into the gopro is direct 4s battery voltage. can a gopro take 16.8 V?
Yes. I looked online and it looks like bones takes 5v-27v
@@TG_Shreds Thanks It is working fine now.
What are you getting for flight times on this setup?
how to downstream the video with gopro hero 10 black bones
My cinelog 30 felt very nose heavy with a bones on it
