I started out with the geprc 2.5. It's nice to see that they are including spare prop guards with the 3 inch version. If you are new to flying like I was, chances are you will crash and the prop guards will break. Tape will fix some breaks and eventually you will need to replace the entire guard. That's the other lesson I learned is that you will need spare parts so order them too, like props,
Lol I also lost the little rubber grommets on a pretty violent crash. Was kind of frustrating to wait for new ones to ship from China, definitely bought extras of those and prop guards
I just finished building this drone. It was my first drone build. Of course I made it more complicated by ordering all different parts and Motors that didn't originally come on the original one so I had to make it all work but it ended up working out great I use the iflight motor 1404 3800kv. And a giant DVR VTX😂 I even tried to put LED lights on it😂. But it was great flying it for the first time today I flew it in very heavy wind like 13 mph but was able to fly around pretty good and land without crashing

If you wish to strap two cameras together, in addition to the existing pilot camera (so 3 cameras), you can zip tie them together or use 3M double sided tape.

The wind is the biggest enemy of these light drones. I would always check the wind conditions on apps like UAV forecast or Weather by Tomorrow before flying light drones.
Great review Steve interested in these drones which is quieter 25 or 30? Compared to the protek35 which I have are they a lot quicker than that as protek35 is ridiculously loud?
these are probably more for beginners afraid of crashing, so being fast or quiet is not the biggest concern. given all the options i am not sure why someone would go with a pusher drone nowadays

To fly a drone in a cave, you need skill. This is because the beginner drones (for newbies) have GPS to hold them still in the air, and there is no GPS in a cave. Second problem is many of the beginner drones require light in order to look at the ground to help them stay in position. There is little light in a cave. Finally to film you need plenty of light, and again, next to no light. So then you are stuck with manually flying a drone in the dark recording blackness.

The TX12 works the same as any radio using OPENTX. Watch my FPV FOR BEGINNERS EPISODE 9 video and you'll quickly see how to setup voice near the end of the video.

I've reviewed many READY TO FLY all in one kits. That would be your first starting point. Also, practice on a simulator as well (just goggle some and find one you like).

Ha ha, two things you are unaware of: 1. Spotters are necessary when flying around people. If you fly in an area where humans do not exist, a spotter would be required for what purpose then? 2. A spotter is always with me when people are around, but you don't see them in the vids because that takes away from the vid and serves no purpose (my wife often times tags along as the spotter depending on where I fly).

If Fatsharks have no range it means either your Fatshark goggles don’t have antennas or are connected incorrectly or broken or your on the wrong band/channel. As well the unit sending the signal in the drone could have a damaged antenna.

@@onelastmarine So it is your antenna or the channel. You have a ton of bands and channels to go through. Read the manual and find out how to make the goggles search for the strongest signal. You’ll have to do some research for certain as FPV goggles are one of the simplest things to use in the hobby. What is the model of your Fatsharks? Or better yet, post a link to them.

@@jonykatz A batteries mAh has zero effect on the ESC and flight controller. Are you getting things mixed up between voltage and mAh?

Must FPV drones that are flown in Acro mode are not bothered by wind since the pilot has full control of all six axis.

Not sure really.... some golf ball extendable pole to get golf balls out of water ponds would be common on used sites for cheap I think.

For a beginner it is best to start off with a READY TO FLY KIT (everything in the box). Then move on from there when you have a few flying skills.

mine with 850 mah battery (tattu) and gopro naked 8 weights 299.5 gram :) not really sub 250 but if use 650 mah 75C its 266 g
Different brands of batteries all weigh different weights. No two 850 mAh batteries from two different companies weigh the same.

Either the antenna on your drone is broken or the antenna on your goggles is not working

It all depends on the receiver in the drone, the antenna on the drone and the antenna on your radio, and the transmission you are using.

For indoors, you don't want a PAVO30. Have a look at something smaller like the CINELOG 25.

That would be a NOPE. DJI only makes the BLACK FPV Controller that works with the FPV RC Hobby.
