I would say yes. The 40v system performs better but then you need batteries and charger etc. So, depends how much more performance you need.

If you're thinking about purchasing one of these to use on concrete, don't waste your money.

@@Justniv1 The dust kills them. Since 2015 i've gone through 1 or 2 a year with heavy cutting and cup grinding concrete. In 2022 i went through 4 in 2 months, the final one lasted 40 mins. I'm told it's possibly because they're manufactured in a different country now and the quality has gone downhill. I now use a different brand and haven't had a problem in nearly 2 years.
