I've said it before, family first, you have to do what you must for them. I still think it's a good idea to spread your time out a bit so if something bad happens to one game, you have another to fall back on. So far, that's been a needless worry. Also congrats on having a new baby.

Zenless is so chill, you can log like 20 mins a day and that is enough, is not like genshin, that's why I love it, I work and workout all day and on weekends I do the hardcore stuff

I gravitate towards content for games i play, so I've seen most of your Genshin videos and whenever a new character drops you're among the very first creators I seek out. I tried ZZZ and I, too think it's a good game, but not good enough for the time investment required to comfortably perform. Actually, I think ZZZ might be better a year from now when the world is bigger and more dynamic. I empathize with what you said about losing interest if you can't do the daily grind day after day to maximize your characters.
youre def my fav gacha creator so it sucks that you arent gonna be covering zzz anymore. its probably my favorite hoyo game and i loved that you were making videos about it but i get it if youre trying to support your family by making this decision. it is what it is. it always blows my mind how some youtubers and guide makers are able to cover zzz, genshin, hsr AND wuwa. those guys must seriously be making videos and playing those games 24 7. anyways looking forward to more genshin videos on the main channel bro
I really enjoyed your ZZZ videos but I understand it’s tough balancing the books with multiple gacha games. Several creators I follow simply could not deal with it either. Most quIt one for another and vice-versa. Even for myself, I juggle multiple gacha games and I have to go super casual on a few to enjoy them because I still enjoy the stories and combat. I def do not force myself to play them if I’m not in the mood. The pressure to play is def a negative and I’ve learned to not care if I don’t spend resin/fuel/battery etc for the day. Screw that nonsense. Anyway, I still enjoy your Genshin videos even tho I play it far less now. ZZZ kinda overtook it as my main HoYo action game. Grats on the 3rd kid.
I feel ya. For some reason, my luck has been abysmal in ZZZ. I've hit hard pity all but once and lost all my 50/50s so far. Due to this, I've recently made the decision to go full F2P in ZZZ since it's just too much with how bad my pulls have been. Not sure if I'll keep at it since it may not be as fun skipping a lot more characters but I'll try to give it a shot until Miyabi.
Definitely take care of your family. Eventhough this is our entertainment, this is your job.

That’s a shame😢 I would say see if the upcoming patch really surprises you enough to stay and also the patch will bring the “reserve resin” so you don’t have to play everyday but I personally see ZZZ becoming this really fun gacha game in future patches, I’m currently playing genshin and ZZZ only and it’s been really fun so far!

The most important thing we got is time. I feel you, I also have 2 kids, and although I LIKE Zenless Zone Zero, I LOVE Genshin and there just aren’t enough hours in a day to really drill 2 gacha games. Same happened with me for Star Rail. Get into it, play it along with Genshin for a while, and then it’s just not possible to keep everything up… and Genshin’s still the best! And it’s not close!

I think the combat is way funner on zzz, but the archon quests and main story on Genshin is way more interesting. I'll be playing both, the most i can handle is 2 gacha games at once.

totally fair, I'm honestly in a similar place with the game, I like it but I'm kinda still deciding how much I want to stick with it long term. So far I don't like it as much as Genshin but it is fun and different

You could post whenever you feel like you need or want to discuss stuff happening in the game, but you shouldnt stress too much about it

From a business standpoint I think you're comparing a mature division (the genshin channel) with a new growing division (this channel). The game will grow over time and hopefully the viewership, and the income that goes with it. To ease on cash flow at the start don't produce in-account content for all characters, just keep it to the CC server stuff for characters you don't own. Knocking out the daily stuff in ZZZ is so fast, it's like they made it taking into account genshin players : port to video counter, open store, scratch ticket, get coffee, do 3 X 100 battery at HIA and you're done in about three minutes. As income goes up, you can go back to your "all characters on account" tag line on reruns.
Am I the only one who just likes Jello's personality? I liked the reddit review. I don't think he necessarily needs to cover everything about the game like Genshin. He can even make a f2p series or anything really

Genshin could dry up financially. Lots of things can go on. I dont even play zenless so i honestly can't say if this is a good idea or not, but obviousy your genshin channel wasnt pumping money into your accounts from the get go. You know better than me how to run a channel, but seems a bit abrupt. If you're getting the views the money will follow, just gotta keep putting in the time till it does.

I'm at a point in my life as well where I will have to drop at least one game (I currently play GI, ZZZ and HSR), if not two. I will absolutely keep GI, because it's my fav. So I can 100% understand where you are you coming from. Sure, gaming might be what makes you money, but in the end it's the same for you as for everyone else: As soon as gaming negatively influences real life, stopping or taking a break is absolutely the right decision. And having little kids is as real as it can get. I only know you from your videos and a few streams, but I'm pretty sure: You will make the choice that's best for you and your family. Thanks for being transparent with us.

There’s too much over saturation of ZZZ content on RUclips right now tbh. There’s not nearly as much content to cover as genshin or star rail, so a lot of the content I’ve noticed on RUclips is a bunch of opinion pieces and speculations on new characters and content. If there’s not a new patch or characters coming out, no need to post a ZZZ video everyday. Quality content is more appreciated to me over mass quantity.
Understandable. I quit zzz cold turkey because trying to keep up with events, characters, and upgrading in more than one game kills the fun. Individually the game is great, but when youre already invested in another game with way too much to do, nah.
I do all three Hoyoyo games and find it fun

It's hard enough building good characters in one game, let alone three. Only way to manage is to half ass everything. I don't have it in me.
I like both Genshin and ZZZ. I'm having a lot of fun with ZZZ's combat just because it's novel, but on the other hand, ZZZ is a game so incredibly small compared to Genshin.
Maybe it's just my impression, but ZZZ has less filler content, or the filler content is a little bit more engaging. But that could just be the novelty of the game talking.
I am *pretty sure* ZZZ is going to do well, at least in the medium term.
It's a shame, but the reasoning is obviously 100% understandable to any sane and rational thinking person. You do what you gotta do for the fam and that's that.
But like many others are suggesting, you can always just do ZZZ content at a casual 'whenever i feel like it' pace, and the people who wanna show up for YOU, WILL show up for you. If it's at all possible, I'd look into it because your coverage of ZZZ and Genshin is the first that comes to mind whenever I wanna get / build new characters.
So long story short, I'd be happier if you could make it work, but just knowing you're still gonna be around and releasing stuff on your Genshin channel is more than enough for me. You and your family stay safe!
Yep, I think it's time to get an executive account manager like Mr Pokke and other creators who cover multiple games. They'll grind the game for you so you won't have to miss out on new content and they'll put in the work and can come and go as you please. I think it'll be less stressful as gatchas are a grind
The question is how long did it take to get to where you are with your Genshin channel? You may realistically need more time for growth. Secondly, if you play casually, and don't have the time just do the dailies and burn your stamina which takes very little time.

Perhaps you'll find a way to keep up with the content without having to sacrifice so much time bc I'll definitely miss your character analysis'.
Totally understandable, family first always. If you get enough money from other sources then there's really no point. However, I wonder, now that you've got every character in genshin and basically on waiting list for new contents will you be able to get the same revenue as before? Just something to ponder on. In the end you have the full picture. Love your contents, do as you see fit!

Maybe you should pay someone to play the game daily for you doing everything there is to do daily and building the character, like some other content creators do. Or maybe an editor so you only have to spend time playing and recording but not editing

it's okay bro, the game won't last that long either in global. probably next year or 2 the game is only playable in 2 regions which is japan or china. can't invest so much time in this type of game really
Hobby channel, news related. Not build related. Building a character in these games sucks a massive Rhino testicle. They give you so many events to grind yet try to build a character and you're out of energy in 10minutes for 24 hours like wtf.
If hoyoverse is your main income, this makes perfect sense. Honestly I think you should branch out. Putting all your eggs into the hoyoverse basket is not great. I’d watch a channel of yours for other games and stuff. But it sounds like you’re at a point where you can’t just make content to make content. You have to 100% make sure that every video is income/revenue. Which is rough. Because ngl I don’t even play Genshin anymore lol. The genre is expanding and if you only stick to the one game… well, if it works for your income, that’s good haha.
Honestly, I like the side channel idea too. Maybe just character guides since characters are every 3 weeks. And if you have spare time in between the 3 weeks you can post whatever idea you had.
I’m at that stage where I’m finding the game a bit stale now, and it’s heavily impacted by not having *that* favorite character that is not out yet. I’m trying to wait for Harumasa but he’s not been dripped yet and my enjoyment is dwindling down. I unfortunately have heavy fomo and log in to do dailies because 60 polys can add up slowly over time, so I’m like 🫠 I got Zhu Yuan because I figured I’d get myself a good dps while I wait for Harumasa, and I don’t regret getting her at all, I’m just in a slump with the game lol
I suppose it explains why the recent genshin videos have felt a bit more corporate compared to your old videos

That's fair. Gotta follow the money. I personally like ZZZ because I don't have to dedicate as much time to it as Genshin. Using my battery and doing the events takes a lot less time than genshin. I love how you passively get the dailies. Could just welken and 15 minutes a day to get your dailies. There's no rush to clear Shiyu.
1.2 is changing the battery sytem. u can save about 2400 which is arond 11 days

why do you have to buy the character? take advantage of the cc server like iw2l & others for guide making... could just play casually 2 min a day for daily free stuff & spend charge, idk where 30 hrs in game is spent weekly with only so much to do in a casual gacha... whatever you decide do what makes you happy, gl & wish you well

If you do play ZZZ casually, videos with lower time commitment on your end could help (especially when Genshin is slower on content)
Genshin 5.0 does feel significantly better. So much so that even a large portion of Koreans have flocked back to the game, which is a big surprise. If you know, you know. If not.. Genshin YOMI incident. It was a BIG pile of turd, really damn BIG, players even took to the street to protest that kind of big lol.

Daily grind of gacha is annoying for more than 1 game for sure. It’s mostly why i dropped ZZZ as well. I couldn’t keep up
yeah, i can't do more than one gatcha. There are people that do like 12 at a time by using an app that runs them all in a little window at the same time. But that's nuts.
