Found a pair of sterling Tiffany Paloma Picasso earrings in a "bulk center"; in a bag of jewelry marked "not gold". 80's Gucci watch in the same bag!
EntrophyFan wow! you have an excellent eye for Quality. Keep up the exceptional work.😻
Been watching you for a year. I'm reselling as a side gig for stress relief on Poshmark. I'm an old retired Navy nurse, who's still working ( in military health care) with Covid :(. I've made pennies on posh... You inspire me! Love that your content is very real! I'll reach out!

OMG, I love Chihuly. I live near the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Columbus, Ohio, and it carries the largest Chihuly collection in a Botanical garden. All his pieces are amazing. I love each and every one of them. I'm one of those Glass art lovers. I love them so much I sometimes get a tear in my eye from the beauty of them. Also my dad was a glazier and cut, and put together many stained glass pieces then installed them in churches, homes, etc. He worked at Franklin Art Glass studios many years ago. I've always loved anything made from glass. I have a bottle with a stopper that my dad got with a bunch of others in 1962 on one of his jobs of picking up glass, and visiting a glassblower (his friend) he knew , the man gave him a full set.
You are the BEST Dr. Lori!! I am constantly learning from you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I’m wearing a bracelet that says that. Never knew it was gold. It was my grandma’s. 🥳🥳🥳
Hi Dr. Lori, you inspire me to go bargain hunting. And I wanna learn about antiques. Thank you for your wonderful show 💞💗💖
Hi Dr. Lori! Just found out about you about a month ago and love your shows. I have a ton of old jewelry and other items that I have no idea what they’re worth. But I love listening to your show and learning everything you are kind enough to share with those of us who are ignorant to the value of what we have. I would love to schedule a time for you to walk through my house and let us know what is valuable and what isn’t so I know what to leave to my husband and children when I die. The rest I can get rid of with a garage sale and give them the proceeds. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m not sure how to schedule a time for a walk through if that is even a possibility. I’m not very good at the internet but getting better. Thank you for your time and have a wonderful day!
Welcome! Have you checked out my website for more info? You can schedule video calls there too.

I found a free-form sterling heart pendant marked Tiffany and Elsa Peretti when I was metal detecting a playground sandbox in Oregon. It was the first silver piece I ever found!
Thanks so much for the great information as always
I love learning. Thank you.
Hello from Minnesota!!!!
Last week I thrifted a gold brooch for $4.99 because I thought it had a very interesting texture and I saw something that I thought could be a designer signature or metal content. Well, turns out my instincts were right! It was stamped 750 and the initials C.B.for Carl Bucherer a Swiss company. It weighs in at 15.7 grams. This is defo the best score to date. I have also found a mint large Vintage Burberry Blue Haymarket bag but can not find it anywhere online… I’m convinced it’s authentic but the only other one I’ve seen the same has significant damage and no identifying info about it. Do you appraise purses?
Love watching your videos!

I have a pin like you have on!I paid 1.00 for it at a little antique store in my town!
Dr Lori your cool.... love your energy 🖖
Real bargains don't just "show up" in thrift stores. They have a history....often a sad one. When my daughter died, my sister showed up first and went through her things. In my grief, I didn't pay attention to what she did. She shipped off to Goodwill a box of special things I had set aside that were sentimental. This included all the jewelry I had made for her and I am sure people like you happily snapped it up. I tried, but was unable to retrieve anything. Attached to all these "finds" is a loss for some poor unknown person. If you are reveling in profits for yourself, please don't forget that it's a loss for someone else who may have been desperate or down on their luck, forced to give up their things. It's not just all about money.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I always encourage people to find out what they have first before giving pieces away. I also suggest the same for resellers and thrift shops before they place things up for sale. Of course I understand that you didn't have that chance in your unfortunate situation.
Cheri, I’m so glad you took the time to share your heartfelt thoughts. Our home was burglarized shortly after my moms death, before I had time to get her jewelry appraised and insured. Two jewelry boxes taken in their entirety, plus so many other valuable pieces. I’m sure someone somewhere got an unbelievable deal! Many items that may have gotten thrown out or donated… will forever be missed.
First time watching- love your video!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for telling us she wasn’t driving 🤩🤣 I love you dr Lori
I try :)
Chihully, wonderful!
I bought a ring for $4.00....
Had it appraised by a gemologist for $2500.00.natural emeralds diamonds and 18k..😁😛
Nice
Wow where did you buy it
Pilchuck Art school and Dale Chihuly- jotted down in my notes.
Wow ! Watch !Your really helping a lot of people . Including me . Yes I share!
Thanks for sharing!!
Love your videos! Wondering if the pieces from my video call will be featured soon :)
You are a doll and I really enjoy your info
Thank you so much!
You are the best! Omg, what great finds!!!!! I love that painting, I would have grabbed that so fast. Paintings are so hard. I can usually tell if they’re worth something or not but can hardly ever make out the signature and I find it impossible to look up artist painting info even when you do know the artists name.
Thank you so much! Don't rely solely on signatures. Learn to look for quality. I can identify the paintings :)
I just love your videos.... I believe you are really an EVANGELIST 🤭...The souls you could inspire 😘
Thanks for all the fascinating facts about historical pieces.🏆
That is quite a compliment.
That asparagus canister! I have two smaller ones!
Castle on cliff big plate. Got it!
❤️❤️❤️ the Chihuly
Perfume bottles circa 1940's -made in West Germany - Value-ish ?
They're lovely
Love your videos.
Glad you like them!
I can barely wait to meet you!!!
My focus is now art, jewelry and “bar ware”
Hi Dr. Lori I appreciate you sharing your knowledge, Do you provide information on how to sell treasures people find? Thank you again for you sharing !!
People use my online appraisal reports to help them sell. The reports include a location where a similar piece sold and for how much. This helps answer your question for a specific item. One person used my report to help them sell a plate for over $1,000. They bought the plate at a yard sale for $1.
I need to learn more about art. I’m fascinated,
I have the vids!
I enjoyed your class.
I'm so glad!
Dr. Lori - if I might make a request/suggestion/production note: While we subscribers/followers adore you, it would be great if you would show the items you are speaking about for longer than a couple of seconds? About 98 percent of your "bargain finds" videos show you talking, but since it is the items we are most interested in, perhaps you can show those items for a few more seconds? Thank you!
Well, you say you adore me but sounds like you want to see less of me ... LOL. Thanks for the suggestion. You can always rewind the video and rewatch to study the object.
A long time friend gave me boxes and bags of jewelry because her fam said junk it's broken and sewn. Born 1907 and was a belly dancer. I can't seem to sell anything.there was a watch no strap with Hebrew time. Interesting i know 11 in another language. Thank you Dr Lori. Luv you
P.S. what's with people that don't measure.your nice . Luv luv luv
Keep trying!
I get the blue box every week. Ive found some great stuff but haven't got THAT lucky yet. Did find a citizen watch the other day tho worth a couple hundred!
I also have some very pretty antique earings made by Sarah. Cov trademark circle c- is there any value to these item's?
Dear Dr Lori my mother just passed and I've inherited a whole bunch of corning wear with the blue pattern on it! Does it have any value? Also I have a vase that was purchased in the 30s made of Black Amethyst Glass, can you give me a clue as to if it's real Amethyst? When you shine light through it the light looks purple! There is a card from my GMA inside that states that it was aquired in theearly 30s by my GREAT grandmother and handed down to her for her wedding!
great bargains. great appraiser
I'm trying to order the loop and diamond tester and I only see t-shirt,bag and mug are you not offering the other items anymore?
Dr. lori that asparagus cookie jar!?! Who made that!? Tell me more!!! Please!!
Future video :)
Hi curious! I have been wondering the same thing about the asparagus jar ever since Dr. Lori placed it on her set! I just love the color and the shape!
Jeweley bags
Omg tell me how to buy a blue box??
I have a Lladro angel (about 5 - 6 inches tall) signed and dated (with certificate) by David Yadro. Would like to know what the value of it is these days...

Hey dr. Lori just found you a few hours ago! :) Love the content but couldn't find any info from you on how to clean vintage coffee cups with gold rim that looks kinda red-orange. I tried with tooth paste and the whole gold rim came off ahhhhh Would appreciate your help :)
Be a little dirty! I see many pieces ruined like yours.
@@DrLoriV So don't clean and keep it orange-purple shade of gold? It's ugly 😁
@@ZandraVox It's your piece, feel free to do what you want :)
@@DrLoriV 😂😂😂 I know right, I guess I didn't ask my question properly.. When buying vintage China is it best to not clean it at all, coz I watched a lot of RUclips videos recommending cleaning it with baking soda or toothpaste. But as I said the gold is gone. So my question was in order to preserve the piece in good condition do we clean it with something so it goes back to it original color or just leave it like that? Thank you so much for your time and knowledge, I appreciate your answers and insight 😊 I live in South Germany now and these pieces are literally left in boxes on the streets 😊
@@ZandraVox I'm sorry your piece is now damaged, but it raises a good point that I talk about all the time. Know your sources for information. I've seen many pieces ruined over the years by people watching incorrect how to videos. Not one answer fits all. When you have a stain on clothing, the material of the clothing and what made the stain matters how you clean it. Then, you still might not get the stain out. Make sense? There are expert professionals who do this for museums.
Dr. Lori, I have a Paloma Picasso cross necklace that I have had for at least 35 years. It clearly has Paloma's signature on the right cross piece, and clearly is stamped sterling and Tiffany on the upright of the cross. I gave it to my granddaughter for her confirmation today. I am taking it to a jeweler to get it cleaned properly and shined up. Can you give me any idea of its value?
Need to see it. Send me Photos. Use the form on my website. To get to the form, watch a video and click on the "i" icon in the top right corner. See my face? Click on that and it will take you to the Send Photos form on my website. I suggest you learn about its value before you get it cleaned or leave it with someone.
❤❤❤
What happens when the thrift store writes the price in black marker on the back of those amazing paintings?? Drives me crazy when it’s on the actual paper etc.. does that drop the value seriously? how do you deal with it do you leave it or cross it out or??
It doesn't help value! Leave it. Don't make matters worse by trying to remove it and cause more damage.
My dad collects watches. He has mostly Invicta but has so many. Guess I should go through them
Watches. I like.
I live my father too.
What's the best place to sell these great finds?
Depends on the piece. My online appraisal written reports show you the places based on your item where similar pieces actually sold.
👍
I LOVE MY FATHER TOO
Yes cheers. Lol.....
So who or how can I find out about expensive things
watch this channel.
Is that a silver Tiffany pin you’re wearing? I just bought I one for $300. Did I over pay?
Need to see yours to verify what you really have. Many factors affect value. Send me Photos. Use the form on my website.
It’s going to be at my house tomorrow!
I saw the back of it and it had a lot of writing in the center of the star.
So who do you sell these things too ? Sorry for my ignorance
People use my online appraisal reports to help them sell. The reports include a location where a similar piece sold and for how much. One person used my report to help them sell a plate for over $1,000. They bought the plate at a yard sale for $1.
Ok Thankyou so much
Lower
I see so many of these plates with images on them at my thrift store and I just assume they're all worthless. 🙄😕
You're walking by valuables for someone else to grab! I'm trying to help YOU make money.
Dr. Lori is there a way to get the thrift store marks off of a piece?
It's like getting a stain out of clothing. Depends on the material of the clothing and what made the stain. And then, some stains never come out :)
Do you have to yell at us?
I'm sorry you feel I am yelling. Who else feels the same as @Erika Corette ?
@@DrLoriV Thank you. This is just how I feel. I always enjoy your content but cant seem to make it too far. I appreciate your receptiveness.
God can she bloody go on get to the point value please
Thanks for watching. The value isn't the only thing... I want you to know what to look for so you can get the value out of your stuff.
Thanks Dr Lori! We learn so much from you! You’re the best!
You are so welcome!
