This is evidently about one year later from when I first started finding your music videos in my algorithm, and, judging by the placement of this video in my music playlist, this was among the first three I saw of yours. Today is November 14, 2024. I've not really doubled back to each of these compilations again and again often, but I save them and I would also sometimes pick out a piece to track down and have by itself for listening later. As of now, this video is the 163rd most recent video added to that playlist, making it somewhat difficult to track down even if I'm deliberately looking, let alone recall every track in it completely. On top of that, Track 12 ("Cyberia lyr1") on this video was NOT one of the ones I singled out for viewing later. However, the vocal loop track of that song was so impressionable to me that, having JUST watched Serial Experiments Lain Episode 2 for the first time (the title now makes sense as a result), I recalled it being the line of the song immediately, having heard it for what was probably the ONE time almost a YEAR ago, and almost immediately managed to double back to this precise video in moments and found it again. What luck! On top of that, it's funny that I managed to recall a segment of unsubtitled Japanese so vividly, especially since I do not understand Japanese much beyond the weeb capacity, and yet the sound of it resonated clearly in my memory as I heard it for myself in its original, chilling, transcendental context: "No matter where where you go, everyone's connected." It's likely that listening so much to this electronica, especially a certain Duvet mix you featured later on, brought Serial Experiments Lain closer to my mind. I knew it existed, but had not made the time to watch it. I finally let myself pursue my curiosities this week and began watching, and now I'm starting to see the influences it's had on this scene of musical compositions.
