Who is Brian Friedman?
During the first 15 years of his career, Brian Friedman was nominated 4 times at the MTV Video Music Awards, 2 times at the Music Video Production Awards, and 5 times at the American Choreography Awards for outstanding achievements in choreography. He has received a World of Dance Award in 2016 for Male Choreographer of the Year, an Industry Voice Awards in 2011 for Best Choreography in a Music Video for Britney Spears "Till the World Ends", the Choreographers Carnival London Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006, an MTV Video Music Awards for Best Choreography in a Music Video for Fatboy Slim "Weapon of Choice" (Assistant Choreographer to Michael Rooney), and in earlier years, a Recognition Awards for Dancers for Best Auditioner.
Having worked on some of the most sought after jobs in the business, his film credits include “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle”, “You Got Served”, “She’s All That”, “Austin Powers Gold Member” and “Uptown Girls”. Brian has been associated with top music artists such as Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, Prince, Mariah Carey, Usher, P!nK, Nicole Scherzinger, Christina Aguilera, One Direction, Cher and more. Brian was chosen to work with Simon Cowell on several of his highest ranking projects, including judging, choreographing, creative directing, and producing. These shows include “The X Factor” (US and UK), America's Got Talent & Britain's Got Talent.
Brian can be described as a pioneer entrepreneur, having opened his first dance studio at the age of 16. He got his first big break when he starred in the 1992 film “Newsies”. Soon thereafter, he was one of the breakout stars on the hit show “Kids Incorporated”, alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt and the late Brittany Murphy. He has since worked on “Dancing with The Stars”, “So You Think You Can Dance”, “Will & Grace”, “That 70’s Show”, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, David Letterman, The Ellen Show, Oprah, MTV VMA’s, VH1 Divas Live, and the Billboard Music Awards to name a few.
In addition to spending his time as a Producer, Director, Creative Director, and Choreographer, Brian enjoys giving back to the community. He has toured the world teaching and mentoring thousands of dancers by working alongside The Pulse On Tour, for which he is the Creative Director. Brian also created an interactive instructional dance DVD called “Freestyle”, teaching audiences around the world original choreography from his most renowned works.
Brian has never stopped learning, growing and venturing into new fields. He took on the fashion industry as a designer when he partnered with the international company Capezio to create his own Shoe Line called “B-Free”. This was done before he turned 25 years old. That same love for fashion led him to eventually create a full apparel & shoe line called Brian Says B Free aka BSBF. In addition, Brian currently has a costume collection titled Brian Friedman Performance & a dance wear line called Brian Friedman Dance Wear with Discount Dance Supply. Eventually he started his own online mentorship program called The Talent Collective. The program helps guide the lives of future artists and entertainers, creating and developing original projects and catapulting careers in the entertainment industry.

I love the Group with Josh, Julian, Tahani and Bailey, they were so in sync to me but also stayed true to their own style (especially Josh).

Brian is INSANE his choreography and quality of movement is something else and not call him old but he is 40 and dances just as fluid as a 20 year old. Dance truly keeps you young and creative!

I dont even watch dance. I happened to see her in the Anaconda video from Trisha years ago... I haven't stopped watching since.. Mark my words, that Girl is going to be one of the best to ever do it.

This is so far from Julian and Josh's styles but they both killlled. Kaycee was straight fire as usual, honestly deserved a solo. Also shoutout to Tahani for that attitude. This was so great!

iconic is a little much. They have only really got into the limelight in the past 6 years and even then we don't know how much influence they have on the industry as a whole. Great dancers yes. Iconic? too soon to state.

Amazing, Jade was in the front, then in back, and yet, even in the back she made it to the FRONT. Also, Kaycee Rice was front and center and slayed it to the point as if she was the only one on the floor even though there were 4 other dancers in back of her. Bailey Sok and Tahanni Anderson were an stoppable duo. Love their attitude. Plus, Sean Lew, Josh, Zack, & Julian Just incredible. Watch this video 6 times from beginning to end.
Glenn Scharf They were all amazing but the girl in the gray next to Kaycee caught my eye especially her freestyle which was partially blocked unfortunately.
We can hype the usual stars but Tahani ate this before the choreo even started.... I've always wished to see her in Brian's class

Brian, Sean, and Kaycee!! I got addicted to watching this dance lol. The song is so catchy. Again, Sean wow. I think what makes him different and unique is that during the little moments when they have to hit the beats, he does it with subtly but preciseness that you can’t help but notice. It’s what makes him stand out. When other dancers did the beats from their chests to their hips, it was unclear. But Sean’s has so much control. Also, his head spin was crazy lol.

that's why i'm over here like BRIAN! Why you do this to my girl!! But it's meant as a huge compliment when the choreography picks you to dance with them and I think it's always to help teach the dancer certain movements so they can see the difference between how they do it versus the choreography.

Damn Kaycee. The older you get, the better dancer you become, and you're already such an amazing dancer. Nearly out of everyone the performed this, your was one of the best. ESPECIALLY the arced spin around- YOU DID THAT BETTER THAN THE TEACHER, and that's an insane accomplishment! Like, damn, how did you not fall??? So good!
And i don't know the blond girl's name in i think it was group four, but the moment at 4:39 was STUNNING. You HIT that with such precision, it was gorgeous! One of the most eye catching moments out of any group!
Now, needless to say, every single dancer in every single group slayed this and was on fire, this was such a fun and sassy choreography, Brian, one of my favorite so far!

This was Thursday night and she had left for Radix in Mexico that weekend already.
oh okay. i was just confused because she's always assisting him in videos, so i was just surprised when i didn't see her in the video. thanks for the explanation
yes she was already in/on her way to Mexico when this class happened. She always has to leave a day before Brian as she has other responsibilities at radix now, she isn't just an assistant anymore which is so good for her age. She did go and help Brian out in preparing the choreo a few days previously at immaspace, which means she knows this dance, so lets hope we see maybe a radix video of her doing it! :D
