I've got a 61 white/pink original Debutante with the kick back 2 speed hub and the original (in great shape) individual Twinn headlights and no rust working horn tank. Few knicks but the patina is fantastic.
This walrus is a ripoff artist. This bike could be cleaned up nice!
The guy should have sold the girlfriend and kept the bike
Should have sold the high maintenance girlfriend
I have a 27" but it was made in Taiwan. Still an antique though.
It hurt me when they said they’d turn that bike into scraps. It didn’t really seem like it was in bad shape beside polishing up the chrome and cleaning up the seat!
I think it would bring 300 as a preservation instead of a restoration. They were talking about alot of work. Reality is they are to lazy to do ANY work. If the chrome pieces were cleaned with oil and aluminum foil and wiped down they would be like new with some patina. Wash the bike with dawn dish soap and when it's done spray clear coat on the paint to protect it and its gonna be a pretty good looking bike. It doesn't need a new seat. These guys are 2 lazy to do that as well. Taking it apart is less work. The bike definitely landed in the wrong hands.
@@dentonthomas5622 right! A lot of people who’re buying a vintage bike know they won’t necessarily be sparkly new. The patina is part of the charm. And while I get it’s a pawn shop they DEFINITELY scammed him out of a couple hundred. Would’ve taken a day maybe two to clean it up good
*Thank you, everybody, for watching my Schwinn Restoration video!😊💙💛*
James brown road that bike famously
for you info girls bikes are more rare and cost more then boys bikes
He's in a "healthy" relationship
I would have bought that for 300
Smh.. that's not chrome plated, it's polished aluminum and polished stainless.. You just need to pull the spokes, get some sos pads, and go to work, you can get those rims looking like new, same with every other bright work piece on it.. Thought the same thing when i found my rusty hollywood i am restoring for my sister.. So far i have spent zero dollars on new chrome and it looks new..
Love the bike i have one
It wouldnt take much to restore that bike
The new chrome paints are really amazing. Paint the chrome parts, touch up the rest of the paint and away you go.
I think a preservation is worth more than a restoration.
Yeah boy
No light.
That paint could be cleaned u
This is a replay wtf

This guys acting was hella bad
