Thanks…if you can get to Xakanaka in Moremi then do the cruise on the lake. You will never get that up close and personal to an ellie. We were there on the cusp of the end rainy season(mid April). It was very muddy and people were getting properly stuck.
Loved the elephant photography. You seemed to attract the ellies at your campsite. Wonderful trip, loved watching this final episode. Thanks for taking us along.
Ja this is what we came for! Mud dust and elephants. It was properly wild and our cup is full…for now. So glad you enjoyed it as much as we. Thank for the lovely comment.
Wow, how do I even begin to describe how much I loved this. In fact the entire series, The name Kwaai and Chakalaka that is so kwaai, that kwaai bridge with its bamboo poles on top, all part of the exciting happenings and sightings! I love your capturing of reflections of cloud sky and trees in the water on the road. I must say Christoph 10 out 10 for your perseverance in the company of many thoroughly inebriated large and small animals, as per usual I see some can take it better than others. Amazing effects on some! The Maroela dance is particularly well executed. Then you round it off with a boat ride, my whole body is still tingling with excitement. You had me rivetted. Stunning!!! Thank you two for sharing, I loved going with you and seeing it through your eyes,
Top notch comment from our greatest fan! Yes it was Kwaai in Khwai and so is Xakanaxa. These are places on earth where as visitors our time is limited. Once the whole planet was roaming with wild animals. Now their space is limited. We are privileged to witness nature in all its glory.
Cool video. You guys are lucky to visit Botswana. For me it is just not possible. 1. Dont have the budget and also having kids you are tied to school holidays.
I know this problem. Yes the fuel issue has suddenly made it inaccessible. We did this trip before fuel increases. Your time will eventually come…until then we have got you covered. Keep the dream alive and thanks for your comment. 👍
@@SoulTonicLife Yes😬! Damn by the time he was scratching his bum mine would have chewed a hole to hide in. But this whole series has had the most amazing photography. Better than the documentary you recently recommended for me. Definitely steel balls and a full set of brass nuts😜
Thank you! Moremi - It was the tail end of the wet season(mid April). We just got into Moremi. Many vehicles had to be recovered a week earlier. In the dry season the sand is softer and a lot dustier (fesh fesh).
What a beautiful adventure! Thanks for sharing.
It is such a pleasure! We are glad you enjoyed. Hopefully there is more to come.
So happy you enjoyed our adventure, we love sharing our trips with like minded people. Here’s to many more. 👍🏼

Incredible adventure, how do I become a patron?
We needed to discuss the elephant in the room
Did you also notice how big that elephant was, next to the 50 gallon drum 🤣
