I'm gonna put up a comment before the haters do. These organisations take in animals from people who thought "oooh let's get a monkey" and then a few years later get bored with it and abandon it. They are taking care of these animals as if they were released back to their natural habitat they would not survive as people had these as "pets" or "status symbols" from when they were young. All that said keep up the good work to @JungleFriends and @BigCatRescue

I am very glad Troy Williams that you did not have to witness where these monkeys lived before they came to Jungle Friends to live with other monkeys, enjoy the sunshine, climb in the trees and have good food and medical care. Just over half of the Jungle Friends monkeys were in laboratory research, the others stolen from their mother's arms to serve as "pets" and be used in entertainment.. I have been to Panama three times to try to figure out a way for them to go back to their homeland, as have others. There is no where for them to go. Since you seem so passionate about this issue, please join Jungle Friends in our efforts to end the exotic pet trade and insisting that the monkeys used in research be allowed to retire to sanctuaries, rather than be euthanized. Hello everyone, I will respond to all of your questions. First of all, you can find out more about Puchi on the Jungle Friends website in a nutshell, he was found running loose on the Eisenhower Expressway in Chicago. Because he had no hair and had lung problems they though he may have been in a fire, but really little is known about Puchi's past. Oops, I am running out of space…more to follow…
