- I won this chair from Sewing Parts Online, this video is not sponsored and I'm giving my initial impressions. It was fairly easy to put together and I am overall extremely impressed. I can't wait to do a full day of sewing to see how my back & shoulders feel afterwards! #sewingchair #quiltingchair #unboxingvideo
I gifted myself with one of these chairs last year and love it! I can sew for so much longer and don't have lower back pain anymore. It's so wonderful.
I love this chair more and more after using it!
I’ve had the arrow chair for 3 years, and I absolutely love it.
I have sat on this chair at my quilt shop and find it to have a hard cushion and a back that is too low for me. I don’t sit at my machine for long periods of time. I cut standing up, and I stand up frequently to use my ironing board and to pin and pick up more pieces for sewing. I need to be moving, so the lumbar support is not an issue for me. I use an IKEA cushioned swivel chair that works just fine and has a higher back for the occasional times to sit back and admire (or use the seam ripper😂).
Excellent info!
I have this chair (about 7 years now) and love it. I also thought the back was going to be too low when I first got it but it’s actually perfect. I have multiple machines and would love to get another one, but can’t justify the cost (yet, ha).
I have the same chair with a different fabric. It is so comfortable and supports my back. It just rolls very fast and I have to be careful to hold it still or it rolls away while I am trying to sit. It also rolls away from the machine as I am pushing on the foot pedal. I just keep "scooching" back up.
I was so surprised with how comfortable it is because the back looks like it would be too low. If I get to scootching too much maybe I'll put a rug underneath to see if that helps
❤ I have a chair just like that. Are use it half the time. I love the look of it
But I have a computer desk chair with arms on the side and I use it mostly 🤪
Hi there, looking for recommendations for a new sewing chair and came upon this! Appreciate the review but also, would you please tell me a little about your ‘stamp quilt’ in the background on the couch!? Thx!
@keressabeverage2622 that postage stamp quilt was started by another woman, I bought the unfinished pieces at a yard sale and finished the quilt mostly by hand, and quilted by machine. it is the quilt that I reach for to cover up with most of the time. I have three other quilts from the same woman made with 1930s fabric that I'm getting ready to get started on tomorrow.
I love my chair. I’ve had it for about four years now. It’s not as supportive as my office chair though.
I love my chair, it is so much more comfortable than the chair I had before!
I have an office chair from Office Depot that is adjustable for the lumbar support. This one is fixed and I don’t think I would like it.
I’m not impressed with Arrow. I have always wanted the sewing table but it was 1;600 dollars. But one day my daughter saw it on sale for 600 dollars and get it for me. I was so happy until I got it, it’s cheaply made you get presswood with paper on it. I want the chair but I don’t think so. For 1,600 dollars you would think they would use a half inch wood and make a better table. I don’t want to tell my daughter I don’t like it so use it. God bless you and your family sorry for the long comment.
So, where is the follow up?
Sew cute, but way out of my price range.
they are not great for people who like to perch on the edge mostly to sew. Maybe my butt does not have enough padding, but I get sore after a few hours
