Is this an animation which is produced years ago? There are no contact sports any more in real life.
Where’s Stockdale? Keith Earls?
how about rupini caucau?
The fact beauden barratt gave the ball back is a show of real brother-like love.
I don’t know how many times I’ve watched all these, still gets me hyped up tho.
I am very glad you enjoyed friend
Haha same bro I always rewatch these videos
Same here I always watch this before rugby training and early on game days.
This is why I love watching Union. A fast free flowing spectacular sport best summed up as pure poetry in motion.
Watch: 32 Glorious Set piece RUGBY tries ruclips.net/video/ILLcrpYQ3Kc/видео.html
Everyone commenting 'what about this try, what about that try?'
We've seen those tries dozens of times in other videos. I haven't seen a lot of these and they're as good as you can get. Just enjoy the video and some different highlights for once. We don't need to see the same 10 tries in every video.
Great work
Thee Andrew Mehrtens?
Shut up andy
Give it a different title then.
'Shocked the world'. Can't have that without Lomu v England, or Sadourny v New Zealand.
Kirwan v Italy in 1987 should also be there as should Blanco v Australia.
All fantastic tries. Makes me miss the beautiful game even more now. You should have out TJ Perena's spectacular finish from last year right at the corner flag
I think amazed is a better word for this than shocked.
need the views somehow though
Damn... just starting watching.. the first try is magical.. oh my days... respect to all rugby men
Jonah Lomu did shoked the entire world FOR REAL , almost put rugby on the entire map by himself with his shoking tries aka nowhere to be found in the video
They make it look so flawless! Great video though mate!
Thanks ❤️😍
Quote by an Australian commentator, "is this pass forward?" reply... Who Cares? well it was, and that's appalling commentary from the Aussies.
just mad that the past few years that have not got to crack the All Blacks LOL
True enough but we all know what the All Blacks have got away with
@@bg-rh8et and what would that be?
You’re right of course. Still funny though.
look up andrew hore vs bradley davies. Plus when SBW got red carded bvs the lions it was their first red card in something like 50 years what does that tell you
From a South African, I can only say that the All Blacks are the best when it comes to tries that show immense skill and synergy between players.
I was hoping you'd get some of the recent super rugby aetoroa games in there. Was a few amazing tries there. Great compilation.
Aotearoa
the french forward pass still hurts me
Wayne Barnes was the second most hated person in New Zealand for 2 years after the 2007 rwc
@@georgesmith8917 but remember the final 2011 the match was for the french but the referee stole the match
@@clementthirion8803 revenge game
@@georgesmith8917 Doesn't make it right at all. Springbok fan here and we have been on the losing side of a couple of referee shit shows that I would simply not wish upon the All Blacks in the name of revenge.
@@Karma-qt4ji I know the refs are human and I wouldn't wish it on any team (except maybe England) but it did sort of justify the shit calls in 2011. The saffas have been robbed a couple of times due to bad calls because they are a physical team but I guess that's just the way things go.
Ben Lam, just having witnessed what Mataele did, was like "Is that allowed?"
Minute?
@@tosca007aburrido8 after 1:04
7:54 that pass was so forward it went into the future
Can’t believe I was in the stadium for that first try
Same it was magical
Good vid but I think you needed lomu tries, stockdale against all blacks and couple of kolbe ones
Beautiful move at 8:23 to cross up the defender with the best shot at making the tackle and drop him to the ground!
4:02 'was this pass forward'
Other commentator:'oh who cares' lol
FANTASTIC, enjoyed every one of those tries!!😁
That Bulls try to deny the Sharks the title will always crush me.
Me too, I was there watching live and was so gutted. I have never forgiven F steyn for not finding touch which led up to the try.
3:45 we not gonna talk how this pass was definitely forward?
Who was the commentator who said "Ahh who cares?" when the other said "was that forward"?
@@sepsism138 obviously an Aussie
Wayne Barnes lol
@@EllliotJackRussel1 7:54 another wayne barnes forward pass miss
@@giganicrik wasn't Roman Poite the touche judge?
7:54 - Wayne Barnes misses ANOTHER forward pass
😆 consistent!
Good vid but I think you needed lomu tries, stockdale against all blacks and couple of kolbe ones
any try compilation that doesn't include Catt getting ground to dust underneath Jonah Lomu is null and void in my book
Watching any England player get stomped is enough for me
@@madisntit6547 Are you kidding?
And Jonah's try against the French where he sits Benazzi on his arse and bounces off several Frenchman like a pinball ...
@@madisntit6547 "Was it shocking though?"
Of course not, everyone knew Jonah's ability by then. Magnificent yes, shocking not remotely.
@@madisntit6547 "I said in the follow up comment"
Indeed you did, quite right. RIP Jonah, a phenomenon.
Everyone else is putting on big steps, around the back offloads, multiple cut backs. England simply passes to a winger in space 😂.
"What a try it could be" you ain't ready mate!
If that Japan-SA match hadn't appeared here I would've been gutted
Who heard the commentator say who cares 😂 4:03
The ONE try missing! 1995 Lomu vs England!
Aggreee
Lomu was in a league of his own, it would almost be an insult to compare him againt these guys, and thats why he gets his own compilation videos
Great compilation!! Thank you GG !!👍🏉 I did run with them every single meter. 😂😂
Thank you so much
I'm Welsh and they England treated Chris Ashton just baffles me.
The Buffalo Bills would have been proud of the blocking at 4:59
Honourable mentions: Ratiki Samo vs NZ.. Welsh try that the sub scrum half scored to put eng out of the world cup. Stringer h cup final
Radiki*
I lost it at the chris aston try...
One of my favourites ❤🙌
This Tries are legit bro..
This is the best rugby Video right now on the rugby edition on RUclips 🙌
Was hoping to see the Radike Samo try against the All Blacks. Now that was a beautiful try. A #8 shrugging off an All Blacks flanker right before he outruns the All Blacks wingers and full back for a beauty of a try.
Truly terrifying fantastic ,I've only watched 4:00 there more?...
Very entertaining, thanks for sharing!
1:49 - 2:34....Chris Ashton....running furious...🤣😂🤣 He has IMO the BEST style in Tries. 😂😂😂 Just look at him how he flies on 2:32 !! This guy is realy good. 😂😂
Awesome vid!! So many good tries
4:02 - "Was this pass forward?" - "Ah, who cares". 12 years later... they're still talking about it 😂
15 years later and the north still talk about that clean out on BOD, whats your point?
Man i love rugby!! Best sport in the world
Japan try against the Boks was awesome!
That England try was brilliant
The French v ABs wasn't a try. Just a blatant foward pass
So was the welsh one. One of the most obvious forward passes I've ever seen. They should invent some sort of television match official to look over these things
look at the talent , not the laws. Nerd stuff in this context
@@willporter4500 The Welsh one wasn't necessarily 'obviously' forward. It might not even have been forward at all, and if it was, it was marginally forward. It is exaggerated because he is tackled as he throws it, so the ball continues moving forward of him. But compare where his body ends up compared to the ball, and it is only marginally behind it. Then, compare it to the last pass in the next try in the video, and you can see that despite the ball clearly going back about two meters, if you compare where the ball left the hands to where it was caught, it has been caught 5m in front of where it was released (meaning, since it went 'back' 2m, it has floated forward about 7m). But, it is still 2m behind the player who threw the ball when it is caught because the player was still moving at the same pace as when he threw it. Had be been tackled right after throwing it, it would have looked 5m forward as well, since he would have stopped and the ball would have been clearly caught in front of him.
There is only one try here that fits the title, and well done Japan. We passed on going to see that game because we thought it might be boring!
Tbh the only "shocking" one to me was Laumape try. Really impressive to see B. Barrett gassed in that way!
Not surprised the shane Williams try was allowed. The amount of tries they score from forward passes is second to none
Well that depends on whether or not you know the forward pass law. Even if they had referred that pass by Hook (?) to the TMO, it would probably have come back as inconclusive and the try would still have been allowed. Two things to look at here...
1. Hook was moving at pace and was tackled. Yet the ball pretty much stayed in line with his falling body the whole way. The laws of physics dictate that when the ball left his hands, it would have the same forward momentum as he did, so if it was passed forward, it should have 'overtaken' him. It would be impossible for the ball to travel beyond him unless some external force slowed him down (a tackle from the front for instance) or some external force sped the ball up (wind for instance).
According to the laws of rugby, a pass is only forward if it is propelled forward out of the hands. What the ball does once it leaves the hands has no bearing on the matter. This is best explained by the video that has been on the official World Rugby channel for the last NINE YEARS, yet we still see couch spectators using parts of the field as "proof" that the ball went forward and therefore claiming a forward pass. It DID go forward, but it was not a forward pass because there is no clear evidence to overturn the likely on field decision that a try was scored.
2. The commentators are rarely, if ever, right and are certainly not the litmus test to decide the legitimacy of a movement. This is especially true if they are from Australia or New Zealand lol.
@2:48 a nice game of netball :)
thoroughly enjoyed this..............thanks.
Another look at the forward pass from the French against NZ
Seldom does a thumbnail live up to its promise. This one does. Well curated sir.
Not shocked. Thrilled!!!
forward pass at 7:54
at 8:50 you can see how fit and quick reffs have to be like wow
Great vid!
Wish my team would watch these vids, we might make at least 1 pass a game then
Share to them
7:23 I'd smile too if I was the ref awarding that try.
"Now was this pass forward?"
"Oh who cares?" LMFAO
Excellent video, great tries. Shocked world Rugby though? Definitely Japan v South Africa.
I am glad you enjoyed
Was waiting for the Jonah Lomu try against England in the RWC...
Jonah who?
7:54 foward pass?
If you get a chance to correct the title, it should be "Another video of good to excellent rugby tries". Japan's v SA was the only shocker.
If you ever want to compile the spectacular cream of the crop, it'll go something like Lomu, Blanco, Campese, O'Driscoll, Kirwan, Edwards, Habana, Sella, McKenzie, Gibson, plus some more recent.
However, you might find more suitable material in League or Sevens or football. Union is about so much more than spectacular, it's probably the ultimate team game and its core is in strategy, tactics, support and execution.
7:29 Was so forward
Where's Jonah using Mike Catt as a speed hump? And that thing of beauty - Christian Cullen's try against Australia where Jonah was used as a decoy and there was the triple run-around and three players facing backward etc etc? Anyone who watches rugby knows that try - truly one that shocked us Aussie fans. There are a few that Steve Larkham set up, one in particularly, a long pass to Sterling Mortlock, that comes to mind. Also - Totai Kefu under the posts in the last minute of John Eales' last game?
awesome skills all over the field
4:02
Has to be the best bit of commentary I ever heard.
Commentator 1 : Was this pass forwards?
Commentator 2: Ah! Who cares..
This is the content I want to see
I am glad you enjoyed
One of the best rugby compilations I’ve ever seen. 🤌👏🏼🔥
commentator 1: it looked forward
aussie commentator: oh who cares
lol we'll smoke you in 2023 too. up the AB's
We will see
Beautiful tries 🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉
3:50 that’s fucking disgraceful that that has even been considered.
You forgot to mention the one song, Slyrax - Dream of A Day
the famous forawd pass
3:02 jimmy commentating i see
I do like a good coast to coast try
Why do you not have the greatest try ever scored (Gareth Edwards for the Barbarians v The All Blacks)? Also, Cheslin Kolbe in the RWC 2019 final v England was unbelieveable.
Jonah over Cat and the try from the end of the earth have to be the most famous ever.
Why did you not put in the try from Giorgi Shkinin against Ireland?
4:02 "was this pass forward"
"oh who cares"
NZ haters^
@5:56 this is like the noest of noes but it worked so screw it lol
that France try in 2007 vs All Blacks still pisses me off. the most obviously forward pass ever.
the first try is the definition of defense...
tackle hard and pray to intercept...
and they had a avengers type counter attack but that's whatever you know
The pass in the french try was forward
Some of these tries are just plain disrespectful😂😂
The France v NZ 2007 was forward
0:55 I met him in 2018
Mark Ella's Grand Slam tries from 1984?
SA v England 2007 2 Summer Test Series. England hammered by the Boks with +50pts both games. Some "shocking" tries by JdV and Spies indeed.
Tjs 2019 RWC try should have been on here 👌
I tried to do bot put rwc tries because i have already made video about rwc best tries
@@GGRUGBY cool ill be sure to check that out too! Cheers

Was that pass forward? Oh who cares! Well it means it's not a try so everyone should care, nothing that happened after the pass matters because it was forward
Nz cared! Knocked us out of the World Cup
@@farq4754 yeap exactly, of course it was ab aussie that said who cares
Where is kolbes try vs the poms in the final?
Fo sho would've given this a like... but for that 2007 forward pass against the ABs in the middle... bad show. The rest was bawss tho 🤙🏽
Insane video
Thanks
Fantastic selection of excellent tries here, friend. Thanks for posting.
Couple of queries, if I may:
The Tamati one around 10:55 doesn't seem all that special in the context of all these other ones. Nice offload, but that's about it. Certainly nothing there to "shock the world".
Why no Kolbe try in the RWC final, where he left Farrell looking stupid? That was a special try, makeover mistake. Inside the tram lines, with three men in front of him, and he still gets through? Come on!
I tried to do not put rwc tries because i have already made video about rwc best tries
@@GGRUGBY OK, I thought it might be sth like that. But you do have at least one other RWC try in there, though.
@@interestedbystander196 I mean 2019 RWC
That kolbe try wasn't that spectacular. He step a defender that was coming across
@@Me-ex7qg Perhaps, but there were three of them. 99 times out of 100 that guy gets stopped. And add to this the pressure of the occasion.
The try was pretty special.
