I really liked the sound of the mid-side. It preserved the direct sound and added the stereo field and room. I liked the XY the least, but I use that technique a lot. So I'm going to try mid-side instead. Thanks for the great information.
Awesome! Yeah, mid side is great. XY is awesome, but sometimes it doesn’t work for me. Dialing in and out the side mic makes it really versatile.
