That person literally attacked the speaker and then, when he/she was neutralized by campus security, the others started chanting "hands up don't shoot".
And yes, throwing liquid is assault because there's history of people throwing acid or toxins. Security or policemen have no way of knowing what kind of substance was being thrown right away so they have to consider the attacker a treat and neutralize them before doing anything else.
But why "HANDS UP DON'T SHOOT"? Who is shooting anyone?! Who is even drawing a gun? It's all just to imply that they are at that moment being oppressed by armed policemen or something??? It's surreal how stupid this is.

My favorite fuckin character in GOT. Sure, he was a drunken playboy in the beginning, but he was also incredibly honest(I can relate being disabled, in a way, it kind of gave me more confidence to not be apologetic about my mobility issues, and be honest with myself), truly cared about people(he was so sweet to Sansa, refusing to consumate their marriage until she truthfully wanted to), and actually had a moral compass, going through hell to try and do the right thing. He went through so much growth, I honestly admired him.

I respectfully disagree. My father was literally an ultra straight "A" student all the way through law school. One professor had to resort to a question from the textbook footnotes to score a hit on him. I was spanked, I deserved it, I am definitely a better person for it, and I'm grateful for my parent's love, concern, and attention. It wasn't abuse and we weren't wussies. There was no physical damage; more like a mental focus realignment or a biological-reboot. I didn't spank my children but a slight tap on the top of the noggin accomplished the same affect. It's not punishment; it's an undesirable-behavioral-interruption technique.

They are the best advertisement against higher academia. There's a divide at universities and it's between the obscure and useless degrees and the hard science degrees. As someone who started out in the English department and ended up in the physics department I noticed a difference between the two programs. Those from the easier programs feel emboldened in their ignorance while those in the more challenging programs realize just how difficult life can be.
The way Knowles just inverted the whole privilege argument by the left was SOOOOO masterful. I am in awe of this grand maneuver. Absolutely brilliant.
