i loved the 2014 figure's sculpt, paint and accuracy, but some points in the articulation were limited. i still want that figure and the 24 inch long and 12 inch tall figure. thats actually to scale with the pacific rim figures.

I have it and I must say he has a great sculpt he might not be monsterarts but he looks damn good he looks like 89 goji somewhat and articulation ya could put a gun in his hands with the potable palms
Just saw this Godzilla figure at ToysRUs today, looked up reviews on RUclips and yours was the only one up. Watched the review in the store & then you made me spend $18 to pick up this fantastic figure!

tell me about it. i love the fact that they took the design from the original design. i loved the final suit, but the concept was very cool too. thats why i wanted the figure bu it ranges from 60 to 120 dollars. i'll just wait to see what NECA does with the godzilla line, so far it seems very promising. i want NECA too make a GMK godzilla and all the other designs/versions of godzilla and the rest of the kaijus from the franchise.
Hmm - Berserker Hunter - I myself had just picked up one of these Big-G 1994 NECA figurines - I must say surprisingly whilst the SH MonsterArts is more articulated and is probably more of a 'movie standard' - the NECA figurine is still very nice - although if I may say - and not that I'm being a 'Trollinator' BUT BUT with Big-G 1994 in the NECA form - he still is a Godzilla is he not haha ... given the clerk at the store asked me if I preferred the Heisei 1994 Big-G compared to Big-G 2014 and I replied 'a true Big-G aficionado MUST appreciate ALL Godzilla's - even the '98 Zilla (I was upset when I saw that '98 Zilla got killed off by the missiles fired by the F/A 18's)' ... and then again the NECA 1994 Big-G if I may say also has better articulation and looks more 'movie standard' compared to say the Bandai Creations Big-G - well the Burning Big-G for the matter and certainly more 'movie standard' than the Trendmasters haha ... even though Trendmasters is long out of date :( ... On a side note not that I'm being a 'Trollinator' BUT BUT months and months and months earlier I had a funny dream where I was back in the scenario of the Classic Chinese Novel called Bandits of the Water Marsh where the 108 Liangshan Heroes took on the enemy forces but they were struggling against overwhelming numbers ... WHEN Big-G Heisei stomps in and pretty much kicks ass and takes names, saving the 108 Liangshan Heroes and saving the day ... A few nights earlier I had a dream where I purchased this NECA Big-G 1994 and ... it comes to life ... and the Big-G 1994 carries me and he does what he does best - displaying how he's the King of the Monsters and why you can't mess with Big-G 1994 - and pretty much kicking ass again and taking names ... But on the whole - a nice figurine and another Big-G to add in eh? OH GOSH hehe why didn't I try the hair-dryer method?! It was a pain trying to 'tail' Big-G 1994 in I gotta say ... Come to think of it though Big-G 1994 in the NECA form resembles the Heisei Big-G 1991 - and as you commented from 6:00-8:00 onwards haha - indeed - though looking at my NECA Big-G 1994 I didn't seem to see any of the 'sloppy paint jobs' around the jaw areas you indicated - though my other complaint is his claws on mine - it looks as if Big-G's 1994's claws had been just 'flaking apart' as rather than the cream-ivory white it was a dull grey-green color ... Still - Big-G is Big-G :) A Nice Figure in the end (isn't the NECA Big-G 1994 somewhat imposing and a 'BIG' figure haha) - not exactly SH Monster Arts Standard - but still a good Big-G 1994 and somewhat better than the Bandai Creations (so not the Japanese Bandai) figurines of Big-G - not that I'm saying Bandai Creations sucks though as I've got the Big-G 1994 Meltdown figurine ... So even if you care little on my comment - apologies if I was 'Trollinating'...although I don't get what's with the thing on the NECA Big-G 1994 having a bit less articulation than the SH Monster Arts Big-G 1994 - given surely if you have too much articulation it makes an action figure abit 'connected too many' eh? Can't wait to put him in a comic on Lego SMAUG vs Big-G :D
I definitely have to disagree with you on it being the best figure representation of the Heisei Godzilla, in my eyes the best in the Rebirth/Adult Godzilla Jr.
i forgot about that figure, since it was redone mold wise with the head. that figure was really great too, i just found the head on this figure, in my opinion, little bit better. dont get me wrong, i love sh monsterarts figures a lot, but you cant go wrong with the price, the amount of detail, paint and accuracy on this figure. i know a lot of people will disagree, but im not saying sh monsterarts are bad figures, its just the fact that you get a figure thats as great for less money. it may not come with any accessories but its the articulation and detail that makes it as worthy as a sh monsterarts figure. that my opinion at least, i do agree with you, i think the best and most accurate figure out there are the X-PLUS series.
Beserker Hunter I'd still say that this isn't as accurate as Monster Art's, but that would be a good thing is this case imo . As the 94 suit is one of my least favorite iterations. This seems a bit more reminiscent of BioGoji/Ghido goji. (89 and 91) what with the face looking less squat and more feline. At this point it may be one of the cheapest and most available methods of getting one.
Major Moe yeah actually it kind of mixes in those two. i just fond the head sculpt alot better on this figure than the sh monster arts figure. there was something about it where it looked different. maybe it was the nose. the nose is not very pronounced and is kind of blended in with the rest of the head.
Allot of people complain about the tail for being bendy AND "too short" but I'm fine with the tail. course I'll have to see for myself HOPEFULLY soon. its too bad He can't look up just a LITTLE bit more. I think that's the only "better" thing about the SH MonsterArts version. But NECA's beats SHMA because you can actually afford it. TRU better hurry up and sell these! I WANT!
i actually prefer the wired tail better, mostly its not really limited. it really depends on what kind of plastic/rubber the company uses. i do wish the base of the head had a better ball joint. there are three ball joints in the head and neck area. the base of the neck has two and the head has one but is hindered because of the neck piece.its still an amazing figure.

do you have a gamestop near you or in a town or city close by? you can get it with out the shipping and handling if you go into the store and ask to order a product and they give you the option if you e=want it in 24 - 48 hours, which makes you pay for shipping and the other option is to wait a week and get it with out the shipping and handling costs. i pre-ordered this figure about two or three weeks before it came out. but it was worth the wait since i saved money and also got an amazing figure.
Good job being one of the first people to review it, the articulation is great and they fixed a lot of the problems the 2014 one had

yeah it looks different on my camera and in some pictures with the head. it is by far better in person.

If I'd had known that the people of NECA also had Godzilla action figures made too, I would've bought the 1994 version and the 2014 version too.
