S.H. Monsterarts have better details like skin and eyes,but Neca Godzilla face for me looks better,here at 6:26 Monsterarts Godzilla face looks stupid.
I'm glad I came across this. About a month ago, I added an album to my FB called Battle of the Toy Titans, squaring off these two figures (with a few Stormtroopers giving info to readers)... and yeah, I did note the similarities between NECA's version and the GvsKG Godzilla. Great retrospect of these two guys. Makes me regret not doing an all-out video.

Both neca and SHMA toys are awesome, but i recommend you to get SHMA because it looks cooler

I went to look at Godzilla vs. Biollante and NECA's resembles that godzilla more in most aspects. Therefore, in my opinion, they should have marketed the figure as "Godzilla 1989."

Necas is a lot cheaper and has better articulation but I think he is more of a combination of all the heisei suits I agree with ya he looks more like 91 goji from versus king Ghidorah
For me, this kind of seems like the 1993 goji from godzilla vs mechagodzilla II mainly in the face though, other wise I just think of it as the heisei godzilla, it looks like it, but they should've just labeled it as "heisei godzilla"

I have the sh monsterarts since I was 2-3 si sh monsterarts takes the cake! Btw I still have 1994 sh monsterarts, it’s on the table.
I don't have any MonsterArts figures yet but I do have "NecaGoji". I like it a lot! I paid $18.99 plus tax at Toys R Us. A SHMA Godzilla is around $80.00 online (which means shipping costs on top of the price). That said, the Birth version Godzilla by SH MonsterArts is the winner even considering the huge price difference. NECA has no plans for other TOHO monsters besides Godzilla.
The only reason Neca is better is the price but their Godzilla 1954 and 2014 are the best

i thought mine had QC issue, i guess for the neca one, his white colored, right "pupil"( the black colored part of the eye is the actual pupil?) is always off center comparing to its left. I returned my first and my 2nd one came like that too. it makes both eyes look like they r looking at different direction head on.I just can't get over the fact that black is the pupil, cuz the white paint give u the illusion that it's the actual pupil
I'm always gonna say SH MonsterArts makes their figures better (no offense NECA fans), it's because they look more realistic, they make a lot of great figures, and they even make (and this is what I complained that NECA has never done before) figures of other Monsters (Mothra, King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Gigan, Rodan, etc). So yeah, SHMA wins.

NECA is better in price and some of the articulation (finger articulation)

I own neca, is it weird his legs won't fold like they should, it has a hinge on its leg, but I can't move it
+DINO GOJIRA GUY Try using a Hair Dryer so that it can move around, that's what I did to my Godzilla 85 and it worked.

Neca- taller, cheaper, I like the eyes a little more, more articulation. Only think I would change is the head sculpt. You get what you pay for of course, but I’d buy shma if I had the money, but Neca just is an okay alternative.

The Abductor use clear nail polish on the ball joint to make it more stiff. It’s like a $22 toy- factory made products always have some issues.

Diego Pena Not that I'm being a Trollinator - very true - whilst the SH Monsterarts Big-G 1994 is indeed more movie-standard accurate - NECA's Big-G 1994 isn't too bad in his own right and still has articulation and for sure is SUPERIOR to the Bandai Creations/Bandai moulds of Big-G and certainly superior to the cheap knock-offs and bootlegs of Big-G figurines and such ... and certainly has better accuracy and articulation than what the Bandai Creations/Bandai moulds and bootlegs have ...

Neca as always because i have 3 1994 2014 and 2001 My Neca toys are not same as broken they are fine i would like to buy GojiFigures for 20$ than 10,800 Yen!!!
The NECA Godzilla 1994 looks more like Godzilla 1991. As such, I do want to try to acquire at least 2 NECA G '94s to put up on a shelf with Monster Arts King Ghidorah that I also want to get, and Monster Arts Biollante which I also want to get, because the GhidoGoji from '91 is a reuse of BioGoji from '89.

Neca's Goji94 looks more like a dog compared to SH MonsterArt's Goji94.
I chose the 1995 SHMA Godzilla over the 1994 NECA figure. I paid 100 bucks more for it, but hell was it worth it. Its much more accurate, detailed and better in quality. I hate NECA Godzillas face/head shape. Doesnt look like Heisei big G at all.
