I really hope you do an additional 100 days of this specific modpack... I will rarely say this, but a video that was nearly 2 hours long didn't have any down time! It was entertaining from beginning to end and that's what I call quality content!
I personally don't count your "death" as a death,but I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we do appreciate the transparency about that. This mod pack looks pretty sick. I'm definitely going to want to check it out soon myself.
In the Paraglider mod there are little shrine statues that you can find at any village. If you right click them you can spend those Spirit Orbs (you asked about them at 11:45) for buffs like permanent HP boost
Played a bunch of this a few months back and boy was it the most fun I've had in a modpack, at some points I forgot I was even playing Minecraft. I already know this is going to be a fantastic 2 hour video.

Tip: the golden chests from the LootR mod are the only ones that have stuff in them, normal chests are empty, Lootr changes all chests with stuff inside to a special texture
Here is the answer for the 1:25:36 question: in minecraft, chest-loots generates as you open the chest (this is why you cant open chests in spectator mode which hasnt been opend) and with the luck effect on you, as you open a chest for the first time, the loot will be a little bit better without the lock effect. I hope this helped and I love your videos!

Suev, when you encounter a loot chest, it’s contents is only generated after the initial opening, and luck makes the loot chests generated loot more rare. It also increases mob item drop chance.
About the Spirit Orbs, you can find statues in the wild that increase your stamina and hearts. Stamina is used if you're gliding on a Paraglider, that you can find from towers that have a waystone in them. Each upgrade costs 4 orbs.
Hey Suev! I hope this becomes another series like Better Minecraft was, because RAD is one rad modpack, and it's really fun! Also, a note if you're continuing to play this, one of the mods in the pack that's optional causes issues with shaders (making everything bright no matter if night, cave, or storm.) and it's called 'no_nv_flash', it can be removed without any issues and instantly fix the shader lighting issue.

Seeing this man publish this video recently made me almost cry. I have been watching his videos since lockdown had finally dropped and he had descent editing but slowly with is perfect better minecraft series he developed into one of the most humble funny and wholesome youtubers out there you have honestly gone so far man I love you.
I am pretty sure that the Yggdrasil sapling is from Norse mythology. The Yggdrasil is basically the universe. The “World Tree” as they call it. What it does and and how to get it though is a mystery to me since I have never even heard of that modpack you were in until now.
Finally someone made a long video on this mod! I was always hyped to watch a 100 days or a series of this mod. Call me Kevin video on this mod made me fell in love with this mod and wanted to see a video more in-depth in it

The dragon tooth part is from Roman Myth. It’s about a hero who was given a Dragon-Tooth Spear (by Mars I think). It wasn’t for combat though. You shove the dragon-tooth part into the ground and it would summon an undead warrior to help you. Also, OMG he destroyed *Yggdrasil….*
I'm halfway through the video and I just wanted to mention that many of the relics you found are from terraria and could be combined in that game, I hope you do that here! Try the cobalt shield and the obsidian skull

Oh, wow. It's been awhile since I've played R.A.D but I had no idea that the 1.16 version was this intense. It's so different from the earlier versions I used to play.
1:25:42 The luck effect does two things: One, it INCREASES your chances of finding RARER items in chest that has said items in their loot table. For example, every desert temple chest has what I believe is a 5% percent chance to have a Notch apple in them. That chance goes up slightly for every lvl of luck you have ( i. e Luck I, Luck II, Luck III, etc.). Luck can ALSO increase the AMOUNT of items you can find in a chest. Let's say their is a single chest that can have up to 12 of its 27 total storage filled with loot. The more luck level you have, the more that max number increases. I hope this makes sense and helps (please reply saying if it does or doesn't (: )

If you find any more equiment or gear with a "luck" buff, I highly recomend wearing it to stack up as much luck as possible in the next 100 days. This will make an enormous difference in upgrading/ maxing out your gear in the next 100 days of this challenge (if you do it) because of how much loot you will be finding and the rarity of that loot!
@@olike245you are mostly correct! The loot that is added by the chests is a different loot table than what luck can do. Yes, seeds can pre-determine loot, and that base loot without luck will stay the same, but luck does add additional loot on top of what you already get! I happy to be wrong, but I have done some research and it appears this is what luck does
A lot of the items in this modpack seem to be inspired by Terraria? Especially the relics and talismans. Regardless, great video! Love watching your 100 day adventures.
The luck effect gives you luck when fishing, giving you enchanted books or other fishing rods. It used to do more like making chest loot better or RNG situations more fair. Maybe some mods made it better than it is now.
This type of modpack is intended to slow progression & thus extend gameplay before completion. So making 100 day video that covers the entire pack is almost impossible. You did a better job than most but I hope you make a 200 days bc there is still so much more to this pack!

I love this modpack. I got some Double Jump 5, speed boost 2 boots with a horseshoe balloon and never felt cooler while traveling.

The spirit orbs are from Legend Of Zelda, if you find a goddess statue you can use it to get more health
