The Sculk Apocalypse is here. Led by the GRAVEMIND, a parasitic organism, the horde's one and only goal is to contaminate as much of the overworld as it can. It has a buffed up army, scouts, and sculk nodes to help it contaminate more and more of the world...

I love how even when trying to get as much resources as possible, copper is still left behind because it has next to no survival uses outside of maybe a lightning rod

Yeah, Copper is immensly useful irl, but the vast majority of its uses are in electronics, which are already covered by redstone, and you already have weak starter tools in the form of wood and stone, adding in Cooper between Stone and Iron would just kinda be useless. I remember someone making a video about how Copper could be used to bulid smth akin to power armour, which would require a special "electric grid" to Charge and function. The reasoning was that it would benefit "Heavily Developed Worlds" (the example used was Hermitcraft, I think). Sadly, I am pretty sure that Mojang never even considered such an idea, both because it might not fit the "feel" of Minecraft, and because it would be a pretty huge system of mechanics to implement.

the fact that the loot wasn't even worth it in the room full of shriekers is so absurd 😂 this was such a good watch!!!
The infestation purifiers are a must have. They completely clear the sculk from areas but they also are fairly easily broken by the mobs.

Yeah Suev not knowing to use Skulk Resistance Pots is very tricky. Thankfully he's not playing in Legundo's super tuned up settings and thus avoiding losing very very quickly. It's absolutely not possible to beat that one blind. The mod in general is really strange without guides or wiki stuff.

If you set off a shrieker after summoning a warden it has a 40 minute cooldown before it’s safe again. Wardens also have a blast radius of 40 blocks

What I learn while playing this mod is that u make the purifiers and surround them in the purity blocks...

The the white box was a machine that mimics the ghast. It just uses the sensor to shoot fire balls when a player walks

if you do this again then a good way to get the crying obsidian infected is annoying the horde with flasks in the area you place it as it will try to reclaim land its lost over claiming new land
the living rock will grow around nodes
and if you fully push sculk out of a area hard enough the horde will pull out of it and wait to get itself in a better spot to retake land so if you have a very very strong push then you could push it out of a good amount of area
also the base game sculk and deeper darker sculk probably won't be to compatible with the horde sculk

Your meant to throw the purity flasks at the skulk on the ground or the mobs for it to work properly rather than on yourself

Legundo did it on the easier (but still turned up settings from base) version and then later with an advanced version (including the new items like Heart of Purity, Skulk Resistance pots ect) a few months back. One of the hardest challenges and both are excellent watches.
