It's wonderful that you decided on showing off such a Create based modpack! However the recipes are much more simple on the plain mod so, if anyone was thinking about it I do recommend trying it for yourself. A lot of respect for your will to keep going with this kind of quest based progression. ;)
Dunno if anyone said this already but there’s a mod in the pack that adds terraria aspects like the shimmer and the buildings under ground, thought it was a cool touch.
what made me cry in the beggining is the fact you didn't use encased chain drives to spread powers to your deployers. There cheaper then gearboxes and just better for that situation you had.
If you end up playing Create in any iteration in the future, I recommend you learn how to make contraptions. You can transport tanks full of liquid with them! Could've used one to transport all that Shimmer. Watch Mr. Beardstone's Create series, and you'll pick up a lot of the mechanics and tricks!
You can make a literal empire on a server with this shit, all you need is a few friends, good relations with the server admin, then ask him to hide the crafting recipes for all the machinery and have him give you a book with EVERY SINGLE CRAFTING RECIPE meaning you have an entire fucking mod to yourself. Ez

1:00:00 Gave me flashbacks to that one Dantdm video. It was this infection styled mod, and the layout was just like this. (Execpt different blocks, but the 8 on the bottom surrounding the middle, and the upper 2 layers being made of different blocks.)
just wanna point out, you can bulk blast/smoke/whatever with a depot at the end instead of risking setting yourself on fire every 5 seconds, it also works on belts too, but the items dont stop in place like they did with the deployers so you need to slow the belt down a ton.

He barely scratched the surface, did not automate anything yet. The grind has just begun. Even ChosenArchitect had problems with this modpack because of how grindy and monotonous it is, he mentioned he had difficulty in producing entertaining content with this one and said he will be a lot more careful in choosing his packs in the future. Don't get me wrong , pack is amazing but color me surprised if this man manages to make fun content from the rest of the modpack.
8:37. I’m not familiar with your texture pack, but that looks like diorite and calcite. You can turn diorite into Andesite by combining with cobblestone.
Great video but some advice is to not use as many water wheels, create a windmill or better yet a steam engine. This will give you all the SU you need to power your entire base.
@@aprilazuliyou can actually make them as soon as late chapter 1, you don’t need to follow the questline steps (plus you can get them by chapter 2 even if you follow the questline, which is about the time you’d be setting up serious automation anyways if you’re talking about blaze burner steam engines, then yes you don’t get those until chapter 3, but passive steam engines provide 2048su each which is more than enough to power your pre-moon setup if you make multiple

21:20 different materials have different effect on specific parts of the tool. You shouldn't have changed the handles for iron, wood is more efficient. You could've changed the heads only to get the iron quality, not every part

For questing, if you have a lot of unclaimed rewards you can go to the button in the top-right corner to claim them all at once

water wheels and windmills are great first steps in this modpack! you arent able to make steam engines until much later
