This is the first part of a 2-part series assembling and test riding this custom Shovelhead chopper.
The owner of this bike is a big OCC, American Chopper, West Coast Choppers and Jesse James fan. Loves the 2000's style chopper and you can really tell with some of this bike's features.
Everything on this bike in custom, including the Philsworks custom frame fabricated from scratch to customer preference.
In this video I assemble the bike and fabricate a custom stainless-steel exhaust from scratch.
Stay tuned for the next video where ill be finishing this bike and test riding it.

Phil I don't know if you have an editor offering to help or not but I was so looking forward to this new video after your others. I learned so many great things about customizing from you and you blow thru all assembly on this. I enjoy seeing the learning thought process of your work. This looks like a shitty eazy co video and with that soundtrack makes it really hard to hear. I don't wanna dog on the video but we really want to see and hear what you do what you do. Even if you've showed certain things before I like seeing how you approach it for different bikes. You can FF thru the stupid shit like turning screws I get it but we want to see your talents and learn. Thanks

Yes I am a one-man band with no background in filming or editing so give me a break, I'll get there. As for content, I never had the vision that his channel would be educational so I'm still working out what type of content gets more views ect.

@@PhilsWorks ...I was on the pipe that night. Your craftsmenship is superior so you can do what others can't...thats what'll drive viewers. Lots of video shots of you building, fabbing, tuning adjusting, designing, explaining metal & mechanics, tips/tricks and what makes you unique and better than the rest. The high clicks on those goofy f's won't last. You'll build a long lasting catalog with views and ad money if you get the SEO title's working properly. Break your vids into 30-45 minute chunks with a title and use searchable buzzwords ie How to rebuild panhead ratchet top transmission. Complete evo chopper custom build, How to make fabricate custom stainless steel sissybar. All those keywords in the title are what the viewers type in to search and find you. Use title like How to customize evolution heads exhaust so they never leak. Keep up the good work, we'll help get your views up. No soundtrack required

Awesome videos! It would be awesome to see a full frame build video at some point kind of like the hardtail video. Looking forward to seeing future videos, great channel man! Cheers from Alaska.

    Very cool.
Wish you had finished out the vid with the wheel stuffed in the hole, but no worries. Totally solid.
I build about 2-4 bikes a year, just started a bobbed steam roller big inch Shovel build yesterday.
And I'm doing a weld on hardtail that I put together with a straight line back bone and a lot of my own fab on the boards, the seat the sissy bar, the tank tunnel, the bars, controls. Single cable to the throttle, no wire up there, foot clutch, an ass slapper shifter arm on a ratchet top with an open primary. As raw as I can build it. I like your mag, but legal around here requires a battery for lights on without bike running.
I love those pipes, haven't set my engine in my chop yet, but can't wait to build my pipes.
    Have fun, and be well.

There was a style that saw some popularity, in the 90's, here in the midwest US that was known as a de-raker. They were stretched like this but the rake was decreased some. So with a 12" forks the rider had to look around the tank to see where they were going.
Never made sense to me. I don't know if they were popular anywhere else.

Iv seen something similar in Japan, Huge frames and huge springer front ends. Rider had to look around the tank to see where he was going. Wild Stuff
