Me too! My girlfriend was like I think Eskay is trans. I'm like are you sure? I genuinely didn't really know if she was trans or not til recently! 🏳️⚧️🫶🏻 I just love and appreciate her so much! She is such an inspiration. I aspire to be just as courageous as her! As someone who also likes to stream and upload videos I tend to get asked alot of the more typical questions. Such as "do you have a mic?" and "why don't you use a mic?" Mainly because I feel like I would get hate for the way I sound. Since only my returning viewers would know or guess that I'm trans (since I like to show it off in game whenever I can) and that the newcomers wouldn't necessarily know! 😬 I would just die if someone said something along the lines of "Ermm, you sound masculine" or more hateful "You sound like a man". I also haven't gone through any vocal training or anything like that. Although I would absolutely love to, for both mine and other people's' sanity... 🫥 I guess my own self comes first though I suppose... 😅 All of these reasons are why I ever so thankful for creators like Eskay! I love when we can feel represented and honestly if anyone ever hurts or disrespects Eskay I'd be so sad... 😥 Thankfully her community seem to not only be very kind and compassionate but they also seem very supportive too! Which is sooo nice! I seriously and honestly aspire to have such a wonderful community as she does... 😇 It seriously must be the best feeling to just be able to be yourself, especially on platforms such as this! ✨️🫶🏻 She wholeheartedly deserves it! 💖🥹 Eskay is easily one of my fav OW content creators and just content creators in general now! 💖🥰 I seriously do wish that I would have found and knew about her sooner but better late than never, am I right? ✨️😇
as a straight guy who’s been watching you eskay for years holy shit I never realized how much effort goes into being a trans woman, this really gave me a new perspective and made me have mad respect for trans woman and all the effort they have to go through
as an ftm i will say personally that a major aspect of girlhood for MANY cis women is not feeling feminine enough. i also grew up with thick eyebrows and hairy forearms. i observed many of my cis girl friends struggle with not fitting into rigid beauty standards. of course at the end of the day i think any of us dealing with negative dysphoric thoughts should do what makes us feel comfortable and safe going outside. but as a good coping mechanism, just remember that cis people feel the same way. all this to say ur natural eyebrows look great and anyone in their right mind would know that❤❤❤ every time a girl w thick eyebrows gets them tweezed an angel loses its wings
I support the intention of this comment. I think the "right mind" expression might be a bit outside your intention, but I respect the point of what you're saying.
One thing I wanna stress: Even if you aren't comfortable doing all the "extra" self-care/beauty stuff; plucking, tucking, hyperfem clothing, etc, you are just as valid and beautiful whether you wear the baggy jeans+hoodie trans uniform, or a frilliest sundress ever made. It took me nearly a decade to realise that. I'm a woman that never does makeup except on a night out and at most it's winged eyeliner and a bit of mascara. Ironically, I consider myself a "tomboy" transwoman. I ride motorcycles, I like engineering, I like women (shocker) and other "typically masculine" things and guess what? I'm still valid, and I am comfortable being myself. Find your balance and your radiant beauty will shine through regardless. Also, trans rights are human rights!!
As a cis woman, i feel totally awful about myself sometimes and cry about it. It can ruin my whole day if i feel ugly. So i cant even imagine how a trans woman must feel with society pressure that women feel in general and, on top of that, any dsyphoria you may be dealing with. Thank you for being so transparent and vulnerable im sure a lot of people benefit from this video ❤️ thx u eskay overwatch
Really helpful video, thank you eskay!! Another tip I'd give for the girlies is to make sure you are having a healthy diet. I see so many of us not eating enough, but many of the changes from HRT, such as breast growth, hips, butt, etc... will be improved if you are eating sufficiently. Three meals a day! :) I am aware that this advice may be hard for some, so just do your best :)
Huge respect to you for this Eskay, you absolutely did not need to do this, especially as a gaming content creator, but being so candid and brave to help out the trans community is such an amazing thing. Stay strong and keep being amazing, you're a ray of light in this world queen! You're beautiful inside and out.
Back in the day I was transphobic and stupid, I probably said some shit in the chat when you first came out. I'm very ashamed of myself and would like to say sorry. You're a very strong and cool person. ❤
I am happy you were able to change. It's easy to be tempted into ignorance amd bigotry so I'm glad to hear you got out of it. It's very sweet to see people eventually come around.
@@pejazya This is one of the few unrivaled beauties of the internet. So many people finally get the exposure needed to break out of the hateful molds they were in
As someone who was in a similar position, I'm proud of you! When I was younger, a was incredibly rude to my transgender cousin. A few years later, here I am setting up preparations to see a Gender Doctor when I turn 18 in a few months lol
As a person who found you through ow as a Lucio/Junk >:) main I feel so lucky to be here for this kind of confidence and outreach. I'm taking forever to write this because I refuse to make myself the main character of this comment but idk this video in particular (along with some streams I've been a part of) has helped me to be so much more attentive, appreciative and aware of the hardships and struggles my transfem/masc friends (and the community as a whole) have had to endure to just be themselves on a day to day basis. And for that, I sincerely thank you.
This video made me smile the whole way through. I’m not trans, though sometimes dress as a girl and don’t feel pretty unless my face is covered. I’m very tall, flat, and skinny. This honestly inspired a lot of confidence in me. Thanks, Eskay. For everyone else this video is more aimed for, you’re beautiful, and much love.
This was remarkably helpful, thank you for being so vulnerable to help other trans girlies My confidence and outlook is *significantly* better after watching this
cis woman here, my eyebrows are usually thicker than my husband's -- and you are so right when I actually take the time to tweeze my eyebrows, my confidence really goes up. It's like magic. Society and especially the internet is always horrible about tearing women down for their looks. Back when I was growing out my hair after getting rid of my deathhawk, I had men on the internet harassing me specifically because they thought me having short hair meant I was trans. There are always going to be jerks on the internet and they're just hateful.
first of all, did not know eskay was trans ??? cool bit of lore there. second !! eyebrows !! girlies who don’t want to/like to pluck or shave their brows… bleach them ! you don’t have to go too crazy but lightening your brows can reduce your visual weight and give a softer look. this is a tip i give to all girls cus it literally changed my life.
Im a new eskay fan so i didnt know that you were trans but oh my god you are so gorgeous!! Love that you put this out here and sharing your experience!! Proud of you
As a trans woman who's been transitioning for about 8 years now I've known most of these tips and I don't have all the same problems as Eskay but this video made my heart so happy. Seeing a trans woman experience trans joy and trying to help struggling newer trans women in a time where tips are so scarce and could be life saving just makes me want to cry from happiness. The trans community can be so beautiful at times and I'm happy to be apart of it and that people like Eskay are in it :)
Hi Eskay I just wanted to say thank you. Not only for this wonderful guide with lots of information but also just for being you. Being a beacon that so many trans women like myself can look up to. We appreciate you so much. ❤❤❤
i've been watching your videos for like forever and omg. i look up to you so much, and then seeing your confidence grow feels really empowering. this is such a good video, thank you
Tysm!! Watching you lately has been helping me cope, and now hearing you be so open and encouraging means so much as a transitioning fan ❤ Thank you for being so brave and beautiful!!
Ive been watching the youtube for over a year and I had no idea you were trans Eskay. Huge respect to you for talking about this so openly and helping other trans peeps, much love.
Oh my god I can’t tell you how timely this is. I’ve been having so many thoughts over the last few months and this helped !! Thank you so freaking much ❤️🔥
Thanks for the video eskay! As someone who's a cis het male I especially appreciate after this because I always wanna try to understand my trans friends better but never wanna bother anyone with any in depth questions. Also the skirt "guidelines" will help me out with gifts in the future!
Cis man here, I watched the whole thing and it’s very interesting to see what trans women need to think about. So much respect and admiration for chasing your true self ❤.
I always wanted to ask about your voice, but never felt there was an appropriate time to ask, and now I don't have to! I first learned about voice training because my friend is trans and they were taking voice coaching and I got curious solely from a technical skill/ability perspective. I briefly tried to learn to speak in a female voice because I started doing female cosplay, but it's actually so difficult! I can usually just say a word here and there and get by, but if I have to say anything more than "Hi" or "Thank you" I just give up and talk with my original voice lol. Anyways, I think you're amazing. Thanks for everything.
It's mostly muscle memory. The more you use those muscles, the easier it'll be to use them. At some point, you'll actually be unable to speak in your old voice, assuming you don't regularly use it.
trans rights!!! trans joy is such a beautiful thing and I hope you all (and myself, someday) get to experience it ❤ ETA: my biggest tip is to try and surround yourself with empowering people who love you for who you are. its okay to feel dissonance between your perspective of yourself (possibly through the lens of dysphoria/depression) and their perspective of you (through the lens of a wonderful friend/person they love) and at the same time its okay to accept that some people see you differently and that doesnt make your feelings invalid. I invite you to try and hold both of these things together harmoniously without judgement. (it's like Dialectical Thinking, holding two seemingly contradictory ideas together and replacing the 'but' with 'and'; "I feel ugly AND my loved ones say I am beautiful.") I'm learning to find parts of myself to love, or at least appreciate, or at the very least see potential in. a couple of my best friends find me attractive and have said I won the genetic lottery for some features respectively lmao- having them has helped me a lot in this process ;w; being trans is hard, you deserve to not have to go it alone. society's expectations of what women ""should"" look like suck. and at the same time, it's valid af to feel dysphoric when you don't match that standard, and to want to and feel euphoria by moving towards it! its also valid af to not care about those standards and do what you want to do. you can do whatever you want forever ♥
I did not know Eskay was trans what??? You are amazing for making this video, thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us! I actually have a transfem character that I’ve been doing a ton of research for and this will help so much! I learned a lot from you today! Thank you, you are beautiful! Just keep queuing! 💖
this is such a wonderful video for the girls! brave and honest and open, thank you eskay! When people ask me where to start I also have always said eyebrows, doing your eyebrows right will lift your face and soften your brow, it's many of the effects of FFS for free. Get plucking!
19:50 this is called mindfulness and it's incredibly important for everyone. The idea is to actually EXPERIENCE life, rather than just thinking about experiencing life. You focus on the senses, which is what is actually occurring to you in the present, rather than the chatter in your skull. The present is the only thing that's real right now. If your thoughts are causing you anxiety, likely they aren't being helpful, and its time to live in the moment, and focus on your experience, rather than to analyze your experience.
You're a wonderful person, Eskay. I've recently found out at 32 that the feelings I've had for my whole life actually mean I'm trans and it's really scary to think about what this means. Your bravery is inspiring to me, so thank you for doing what you do. Also, you look adorable.
Thank you. The resources are helpful. I found that letting myself gain some weight after starting HRT (was pretty skinny) really helped because I finally got some fat in places where I wanted. Also, bangs to cover up my forehead (male foreheads are more square and rigid even after HRT while cis women foreheads are a bit rounder and flat at the front). I put the tiniest bit of blush on my face because makeup is so hard but I swear it makes a difference. I'm sorry people are so hateful to you. You were one of the people coming out that helped me find myself.
you know the world is healing when you aren't reluctantly made aware that one of your favorite OW creators is transfemme or transgender or gay by haters talking shit or trying to out them maliciously. we've come a long way in the gaming community in 10 years. what a good feeling to see that progress first hand.
Hi Eskay I work at Ulta and I highly recommend getting your brows waxed there or at Sephora. They’re very open and accepting places. I feel very comfy and accepted here. Love ya 🩷
i had no idea you were transfemme! AMAB NB fan here since first finding your channel last summer, love you so much and thank you for putting yourself out there like this for all the girllies out there. the scene is better for having you and everything you bring tot he table.
This was very insightful and helpful to me. There were a lot of tips i hadn't heard yet. Thank you for being yourself and being confident in spite of what others say about you!
I've been watching your videos since the first Impractical Rollouts video from back in the distant past. I realised I was trans last summer and have been trying to figure myself out since. Thankyou for this video, it's been really helpful
very kind of you to make this video. i've seen how much people ask you about this stuff even though it's extremely personal. im a cis woman and most the stuff you talk about wrt like, achieving this Acceptable Female Beauty Level (eg shaping your eyebrows, styling your hair...), i think about too. so i really like what you said in the last section about confusing dysphoria with the fucking relentless self conciousness and physical comparison and self policing/shaming that is inflicted on all women. it does cause serious mental distress. my god, how maddening it is to be trying to like mathematically calculate the right angles for your eyebrows and then create that shape freehand plucking one hair at a time. all for what! so i don't look in the mirror and cry because i'm ugly. i am a grown adult!! argh!! anyway, so glad you didn't waste 50k altering your beautiful, beautiful face. i would take off my glasses around you. i'd pluck out my eyes, frankly. you really are a rare beauty. but more importantly you are a sweet person, funny, smart, kind, and the top frag mlg pogchamp. xoxo
This past friday I met my trans brother for the first time, It was ten plus years away from me being estranged from an abusive parent to both of us. I always accepted him no matter what but meeting him in person after raising a little girl was the most powerful experience of all time. He is so amazing and I am so proud of him and I am so thankful to have the beacon of confidence I wish I had in my life. This past friday was my official remission from cancer and let me tell you it means nothing because I got to regain the wonderful amazing sibling I would fucking die for. Eskay you are amazing and beautiful and wonderful and the only flaw you have is being the reason I can't climb in OW or whatever because better or something. Idk. (Seriously thank you for being you.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you, this video contains some of the most helpful info ever girls. I really wish younger me saw this video before starting my transition, would have saved me a lot of time and feeling horrible, but I'm so glad you made it now Eskay. You look beautiful and absolutely amazing and because of similar body type you are such a role model for me and my transition goals!!💖🤍🩵
i'm nonbinary (but still a cis (??) woman) and feel sometimes i look too masculine compared to a lot of my female peers, or i sound like a young boy compared to them too, this was something i really struggled with growing up. it took a long time to realize it's not a me issue and there's nothing wrong with me, society is just really really judgmental and cruel for no reason. it's never you nor will it ever be! you are so so so beautiful eskay, this is an awesome video to make and really showcases how confident you are as a person & your journey after all these years.
Omg, I started watching your content because of SF6 Sajam Slam and didn't realize I'd actually watched some of this before too!! I'm a baby transfem (7 months hrt) and still coping with a lot of the physical appearance parts to the transition so thank you so much for this. Keep being awesome!!
I almost never comment on yt but I want to tell you that your videos have helped me a lot especially the Lucio guides that helped me to reach Diamond, I haven't played for a long time but I know that at some point I will reach top 500 when I focus on the game again... btw the last thing I want to say is that finding this video is also helping me a lot, I'm about to start transition, they still haven't given me a date for the appointment to start with the hormone treatment (I've been waiting for 5 months) but I'm doing my best to get it as soon as possible, I don't know why they take so long to give it to me, I guess the queues are very long, anyway.... Thx Eskay. ♡
Just keep queuing, just keep queuing, just keep queuing, queuing, queuing, what do we do, we queue! Queue! Thank you for sharing Eskay! You're amazing!
Absolute jewel you are, and this video. I find it incredibly generous of you to do this. And all your tips are spot on. I'm twice your age, took me decades to figure these things out. And i find your generation amazing. It makes me feel hopeful for the world to see you guys taking action, as you do in this video. Yes, we have nothing to apologise for and we are beautiful in our own right. Congratulations for being a wonderful human being and a beautiful girl.
i love your voice so much, it's so texturally perfect for my ears, it feels like cuddling with a cat. as a trans-feminine-enby-thing who'd given up on voice training you have revived my hope :))))))
Eskay you are wonderful! Video had me tearing up a little. Genuinely one of the most wholesome people I’ve come across on the internet. Don’t stop being awesome ❤❤❤
Some nice advice for eyebrow management! If you don't want to spend the time plucking them with tweezers, Try using eyebrow specific razors (Uusally just called eyebrow razors lol) and plucking any missed hairs after, Makes it super easy IMO! Love you eskay and I'm really glad you're more confident!!
"Makeup is like ranking up in overwatch" sjdhjd love you Eskay!! Trans woman here out for 4 years, 25 years old now, love so much that you're sharing this for so many people! I do want to say, for anyone coming along late like me who might see this, the main thing that made a difference for me was literally just time on hormones. Cleaning my brows was a big deal (not even thin, just cleaning the outlines), electrolysis for removal of facial hair shadow was a big deal for me, but seriously, second puberty is a long process! You didn't go from a tween to wherever you are now right away, some cell types just take longer to replace themselves and get updates. 6-8 years is the standard quoted timeframe for hormonal transition for a reason, give yourself grace. Also for confidence: if someone is primed to see you as a woman/man, it will literally affect how their brain parses the visual and auditory signals. There really is no such thing as "just humoring you": if someone is referring to you in the feminine on a regular basis, the cognitive dissonance if nothing else will beat any trace of seeing you as not-a-woman out of their brains. Also, hanging out with your trans brothers and sisters fucks so much, hug them and let you know how much you love them
Quick Question: I have a friend who has recently transitioned, and I am quite happy for them. What would be a good gift or present for them to transition cause I want it to be celebratory toward their transition but, I don't know what to get them?
Mean comments online are snapshots of peoples bad moods and personal insecurities. Im sorry you have to deal with that stuff. You're awesome Eskay. Thanks for sharing your experience ❤
Super Insightful video:) I'm mtf and started transitioning 3 and a half years ago myself and it was so much more complicated than I thought haha It's really nice relating to this video and even putting a few things together I hadn't previously thought about, like what you said about confidence. U're amazing
i just want to say that even as a cis woman i have always looked up those pitch and resonance voice lessons bc ive always wanted to be more feminine, they can help absolutely but every woman is different especially vocally. just as eskay says pretty much do just what you are comfortable with. and you are beautiful no matter how you present yourself.
this video just made my confiedence sky rocket, seeing how far you have come and what you have learned and it lining up with things about myself really helped me. thank you for helping with this video
Girl remember that even the most prettiest girls or guys you see online will always receive hate and get called ugly. You will never befriend everyone. Be your own unique self and attract people who love YOU for you. Nobody else is worth your time. As a cis girl I related to a lot of the insecurities you talked ab, and you helped remind me to keep my head up. I’m so happy to hear that doctor was honest and didn’t want to just make money off u. You do have very feminine features, and you understand how to work them. (Like how to dress a narrow face shape). You will continue to reach your goals and shlay even harder. I’m here with you working on things I want to change and love. Like my terrible posture lol. Only thing I would disagree with is I really liked your ‘thicker’ brows. They weren’t even thick! Lol they were normal. Either way they suit you and thinner ones
Can't wait to see another one of these in 5 years to learn more from your experiences! Not even a trans person, btw. Wish you lots of love, Eskay! You seem to be a nice person, hope you stay that way.
Eskay! Love this! So I got into OW during 2020 because it was something to do with my friends, and then I got into your content because your lucio games and guides were just so fun to watch. I only found out about your transition later and then some time after my partner helped me come to terms with some of my own gender journey. Seeing you do this makes me so happy! Many blessings on you and your channels.
Hey Eskay. Just wanted to say you've been a big inspiration to me and I really admire and appreciate you. Love your content, love to see you being confident and happy, and I'm grateful you took the time to make this video and share a bit about what works for you. Thank you. You're awesome!
Ive been out for a while so this type of content isnt super for me but thanks for making this to help out the baby transes. Love ur content, its an great bonus that im supporting another trans woman by watching ur awesome videos
Make up tip! While I’m Cis I didn’t start wearing makeup well into adulthood so I felt really behind and scared to do things like eyeliner. I got MAKE-UP TAPE. Game changer. I use it and eyeshadow to give the illusion of a straight eyeliner line. As long as your eyes have the same colours on both sides and the lines are straight you can do whatever you want and people will think you’re a make up prodigy. Most day looks all you need is concealer, a highlighter, a simple eyeshadow pallet and 3 brushes. (And the tape lol) Once you feel a little more secure adding something small like a dusting of glitter elevates the whole look to a new level. And it does take practice. Figure out which colours make you happiest and branch off from there! I used to hate my face, I thought any makeup look I did just looked like lipstick on a pig and I hated mirrors. Doing my eyes everyday taught me how to love myself. And I hope it can do the same for other people too.
Also we need to understand that our waist isn’t where our pants sit with men’s pants. Actual waist line in women’s is just above the hip bone, usually barely below the belly button. Having shirts and pants up on your actual waist will elongate your legs too ❤
Good on you Eskay 🙂 this video is gonna help so many people, it taught me a lot too as a cis male, but yeah I’m so glad you’ve had the confidence to put something like this out cause it’s really needed, your my favourite overwatch RUclipsr/streamer and never change, your awesome 😊
As a newer fan of Eskay and OW in general I would have never known. My love and support for your content has never been higher. I absolutely love the relaxed and chill vids you put out in a community that sometimes goes a little crazy! Love this video so much ❤. Trans visibility is important yesterday, today, and everyday!!!
I'm a cis man (I think) but I've now watched and shared this video twice because I have friends who are transitioning. They have both thanked me, and therefore you, profoundly. You're a true inspiration and I hope you understand how much you're helping the world. You're fantastic Eskay, please keep up this amazing work ❤
I just want to say Eskay :) even before you made this video, just watching you play Overwatch and being happy made me feel more comfortable with who I was. Just seeing someone trans who was existing and doing what they loved was amazing
I didn’t know you were trans and i’ve been watching your videos for at least a year. I’m happy to see you being so open and giving tips to others who want to feel comfortable in their bodies too.
I admire your confidence and one day I hope to have some of that in myself. I also found it super cool how your coping mechanisms for dysphoria are similar to mine lol
Very interesting and informative, thank you for sharing your experiences! I'm transmasc/nb and recognize a lot of these struggles, like with dysphoria and society, figuring out what works for me, anxiety, feeling uncomfy in certain spaces etc. So hearing about your journey is not only interesting to see from an "opposite" yet similar perspective, but also inspiring me to work more on myself and keep getting better. Maybe I can even apply some of those tips too, but differently, and see how I feel about it. ^-^ It really is trial and error to find ways to feel comfortable and confident. But it's important to keep learning and changing for the better. "Keep queueing!" So I'm very thankful for videos like this providing info, tips and resources on such (very underrepresented but desperately needed) topics. Thank you Eskay! ♥ Also thank you for all the other content you're making! I've been watching you since OW1. Your videos and streams have provided me with lots of joy, comfort and needed distractions. You're a very cool and amazing lady! It makes me happy to hear that you have gained more confidence. You're shining! (Also I love your makeup! The winged eyeliner and mascara suits you, it looks cute.)
Eskay! You are such a beautiful soul this is so refreshing. It is so admirable that you are giving good information when resources are limited. I have had very close trans friends that struggled pretty bad when we were younger with their self worth and understanding. I wish I could have guided them to this video, but am so happy it is available now 🥲 You are an angel
I love how most these things, even if i didnt actively pick them up from other people, just seem to come naturally for most women, eg every transfem friend of mine and me included shave our legs lmao. Your voice is impressive and when i ditched valorant for ow i was very happy to find your channel. That's all
11:27 as someone who /just/ got their bra buds literally yesterday, i can confirm that at least for me they are really nice and do help a lot with dysphoria (theyre basically just silicone implants but designed to be worn on the outside). dont expect them to do a /lot/ but they really help fill out bras if (like me) youre fairly skinny & pre/early hrt
terrible news i have realized since this video, taking your estrogen under your tongue is much more effective over swallowing it, so is boofing progesterone,... do with this information what you will
[Caveat!: I am not an endocrinologist or medical professional, just a trans girl, please consult your medical provider] Also, if you're on pills (especially if you're are struggling to reach desired estradiol (E2) levels), make sure your provider is checking your estrone (E1) levels and not JUST your E2 as ingesting the pills leads to a decent portion of the the estradiol being broken down and converted into estrone. I believe, taking the pills sublingually (under the tongue) as you mentioned, helps keep as much of it from processing in your digestive tract (I think). Estradiol is what we want for most of the feminization, estrone is closer tied to the risk of blood clots and osteoporosis, it doesn't aid much in the feminization process, especially compared to the holy E2, and you do not want a lot of it as your risks increase. Anyways, I know a lot of providers don't check for E1, luckily mine did and I've ended up having to be the informant for basically all of my transfem friends who had different providers. A lot of them were struggling with E2 levels until they got that checked, some had astronomically high E1 levels with super low E2 because their body was converting most of it. Switching to different delivery methods helped a lot of them. I myself have been on patches and currently just using the biote pellet (which has been awesome for my experience! 2 years on the same pellet right now lol).
I tried taking my tablets sublingually almost since the start, at 6mg daily I was within "Normal female ranges" without T blockers Never tried boofing though! Thank you as well, Eskay. I never knew you were trans, your voice rocks! I really appreciate your advice for eyebrows and skirts/pants/leggings You're a transition goal!
trans unranked to gm (educational) Pog
We making it to top 500 with this one
😂
lets go
I’m a higher rank in transfem than I am in overwatch let’s go
bahahahah
from being scared of using facecam to putting yourself front and center to help others in their journey all with facecam
Love and proud of you Eskay
That's what I was going to say, im so happy and proud of her aswell!!
She used to be on facecam back in OW1 days. She hasn't aged a bit, either.
I think she just likes the character.
i’m a trans girl who followed you for a whole year w/o knowing you were trans, you’re so beautiful, ur killin it ❤️🔥

I also haven't gone through any vocal training or anything like that. as an ftm i will say personally that a major aspect of girlhood for MANY cis women is not feeling feminine enough. i also grew up with thick eyebrows and hairy forearms. i observed many of my cis girl friends struggle with not fitting into rigid beauty standards. of course at the end of the day i think any of us dealing with negative dysphoric thoughts should do what makes us feel comfortable and safe going outside. but as a good coping mechanism, just remember that cis people feel the same way.
all this to say ur natural eyebrows look great and anyone in their right mind would know that❤❤❤ every time a girl w thick eyebrows gets them tweezed an angel loses its wings
THIS! I'm glad you said it. Treasure those eyebrows, loves, they're so beautiful.
Also, trans rights are human rights!!
oh i KNOW you tinker up a storm in the workshop
tomboy trans women >>>
You actually have no idea JUST HOW MUCH I seriously love and adore this much Missie! 🎶✨️💜🫶🏻🥹
You are valid. I'm like you and cis. If I can be tomboy and a woman so can you. Gender shouldn't restrict your personal preferences.
Thank you!
I am aware that this advice may be hard for some, so just do your best :)
i did not know that thank you so much
This is probably the BEST tip of all, tbh.
This is also true for trans men too! Muscle growth in the arms, abdomen, legs ect is really hard to achieve if you don't eat often

ESKAY YOUR PLUSHIE COLLECTION IS OUT OF CONTROL (I’m definitely not jealous of it or anything)
This was remarkably helpful, thank you for being so vulnerable to help other trans girlies
My confidence and outlook is *significantly* better after watching this
cis woman here, my eyebrows are usually thicker than my husband's -- and you are so right when I actually take the time to tweeze my eyebrows, my confidence really goes up.
Proud of you
Yea I also had no idea for a long time. She is so pretty and I love her laugh 🥰

I also had no clue pleasantly surprised today
At some point, you'll actually be unable to speak in your old voice, assuming you don't regularly use it.
trans rights!!! trans joy is such a beautiful thing and I hope you all (and myself, someday) get to experience it ❤
ETA: my biggest tip is to try and surround yourself with empowering people who love you for who you are. its okay to feel dissonance between your perspective of yourself (possibly through the lens of dysphoria/depression) and their perspective of you (through the lens of a wonderful friend/person they love)
and at the same time its okay to accept that some people see you differently and that doesnt make your feelings invalid. I invite you to try and hold both of these things together harmoniously without judgement. (it's like Dialectical Thinking, holding two seemingly contradictory ideas together and replacing the 'but' with 'and'; "I feel ugly AND my loved ones say I am beautiful.")
I'm learning to find parts of myself to love, or at least appreciate, or at the very least see potential in. a couple of my best friends find me attractive and have said I won the genetic lottery for some features respectively lmao- having them has helped me a lot in this process ;w; being trans is hard, you deserve to not have to go it alone.
society's expectations of what women ""should"" look like suck. and at the same time, it's valid af to feel dysphoric when you don't match that standard, and to want to and feel euphoria by moving towards it! its also valid af to not care about those standards and do what you want to do. you can do whatever you want forever ♥
I need to work on that. I get so easily stuck in my head.
The switch from stopping watching eskay because I was transphobic to starting watching eskay for transition tips because I'm trans is violeenttttt

that's the pipeline tho. that's the pipeline
You were one of the people coming out that helped me find myself.
you know the world is healing when you aren't reluctantly made aware that one of your favorite OW creators is transfemme or transgender or gay by haters talking shit or trying to out them maliciously. we've come a long way in the gaming community in 10 years. what a good feeling to see that progress first hand.
this video is so brutaly honest and human it baffels me
Hi Eskay I work at Ulta and I highly recommend getting your brows waxed there or at Sephora. They’re very open and accepting places. I feel very comfy and accepted here. Love ya 🩷

I love this so much ty ty ty, been transitioning for two years. Hearing "it gets better" really made my day
I've been watching your videos since the first Impractical Rollouts video from back in the distant past. I realised I was trans last summer and have been trying to figure myself out since. Thankyou for this video, it's been really helpful
very kind of you to make this video. i've seen how much people ask you about this stuff even though it's extremely personal. im a cis woman and most the stuff you talk about wrt like, achieving this Acceptable Female Beauty Level (eg shaping your eyebrows, styling your hair...), i think about too. so i really like what you said in the last section about confusing dysphoria with the fucking relentless self conciousness and physical comparison and self policing/shaming that is inflicted on all women. it does cause serious mental distress. my god, how maddening it is to be trying to like mathematically calculate the right angles for your eyebrows and then create that shape freehand plucking one hair at a time. all for what! so i don't look in the mirror and cry because i'm ugly. i am a grown adult!! argh!! anyway, so glad you didn't waste 50k altering your beautiful, beautiful face. i would take off my glasses around you. i'd pluck out my eyes, frankly. you really are a rare beauty. but more importantly you are a sweet person, funny, smart, kind, and the top frag mlg pogchamp. xoxo
Thank you so much for writing this it made me smile ❤️❤️😭🥹🥺
This past friday I met my trans brother for the first time, It was ten plus years away from me being estranged from an abusive parent to both of us. i'm nonbinary (but still a cis (??) woman) and feel sometimes i look too masculine compared to a lot of my female peers, or i sound like a young boy compared to them too, this was something i really struggled with growing up. it took a long time to realize it's not a me issue and there's nothing wrong with me, society is just really really judgmental and cruel for no reason. it's never you nor will it ever be! you are so so so beautiful eskay, this is an awesome video to make and really showcases how confident you are as a person & your journey after all these years.
Thx Eskay. ♡

Thank you for putting yourself out there in order to help others. You've come so far and you're such an awesome person!
Anything you would get a cis woman. Beauty products, clothes, cheap jewelry, maybe a plush. That’s what would have made me happy back then 😁

Representation matters so much. Thank you.
Although im not trans, im so proud of you Eskay for being yourself and learning to be more confident.

Having shirts and pants up on your actual waist will elongate your legs too ❤
oh my god only 2 years older but so much farther... I hope to achieve what you have, I appreciate this!
I just want to say Eskay :) even before you made this video, just watching you play Overwatch and being happy made me feel more comfortable with who I was. Just seeing someone trans who was existing and doing what they loved was amazing

i cant believe this video is real. im so happy that it exists thank you eskay
It really is trial and error to find ways to feel comfortable and confident. But it's important to keep learning and changing for the better. "Keep queueing!"
So I'm very thankful for videos like this providing info, tips and resources on such (very underrepresented but desperately needed) topics.
Thank you Eskay! ♥
Also thank you for all the other content you're making!
That's all
cis women including myself definitely forget the more nuanced behaviors that we're socialized to imitate
“just keep queuing” is so powerful
11:27 as someone who /just/ got their bra buds literally yesterday, i can confirm that at least for me they are really nice and do help a lot with dysphoria (theyre basically just silicone implants but designed to be worn on the outside). dont expect them to do a /lot/ but they really help fill out bras if (like me) youre fairly skinny & pre/early hrt
terrible news i have realized since this video, taking your estrogen under your tongue is much more effective over swallowing it, so is boofing progesterone,... do with this information what you will
[Caveat!: I am not an endocrinologist or medical professional, just a trans girl, please consult your medical provider]
Also, if you're on pills (especially if you're are struggling to reach desired estradiol (E2) levels), make sure your provider is checking your estrone (E1) levels and not JUST your E2 as ingesting the pills leads to a decent portion of the the estradiol being broken down and converted into estrone.
I tried taking my tablets sublingually almost since the start, at 6mg daily I was within "Normal female ranges" without T blockers
Never tried boofing though!
Thank you as well, Eskay. I never knew you were trans, your voice rocks! I really appreciate your advice for eyebrows and skirts/pants/leggings
You're a transition goal!
I learned a lot about what goes into the transformation process thanks for the on-site Eskay😊
