I’m 72 now. Just a little bit less than 2 years into HRT. Began wearing women’s clothes exclusively 6 years ago - although the women’s clothes I wear are very easily taken for men’s clothes: jeans and a button up shirt. I’ve been covertly cross-dressing for over 50 years. In a recent conversation with my (thankfully supportive) brother I was commenting about having to draw in my almost nonexistent eyebrows. Your comments about mistakes in plucking early-on reminded me of how my eyebrows became as they are. About 50 years ago, I began trying to subtly shape my eyebrows. Of course, I started plucking from the top. Eventually, I figured out that I should be plucking the bottom. Ultimately, there was not much left. So now I have become rather dependent on an eyebrow pencil. You look marvelous. I really enjoyed your video. Wish they had the internet 50 years ago.
I am 88 now, finally started transitioning two years ago, hope to fully transition when I am 90. Wish me luck. I do not have issues with my eyebrows, they are all grey now. just draw them.
Been looking for something like this by someone who clicks, I can actually understand your thought process in your content (TikTok and even here) and it makes such a difference. Thank you.❤
Ahh I’m really glad that you’ve found my videos helpful ☺️ I’ve been hesitant to do them for a while because I feel like I’m a bit scattered in the way I explain things so I’m glad at least you can follow it ahah
I’m a cis girl but I noticed MTF people have a great outlook on style and really know the hidden tips for being more feminine 🥺 things that otherwise the rest of us take for granted for having. Thank you for this advice !
Came here to say this! I'm cis but I was severely bullied by other girls as a kid and thus didn't really have anyone to explore beauty with. I'm incredibly grateful to trans advice videos. Ngl, secretly worried I'm in a turbo fem phase before cracking, as well.
I am not really on tiktok and you are literally the only one that I follow and watch. I hope you can do yourself a place on RUclips and hopefully you will publish more here. Thanks you for helping me in my transition
This might sound weird, but you made me realize that I don't have to grow my hair out for years to be feminine. Honestly it's really making me consider transitioning
it's all up to you you have all the time in the world to decide whether or not transitioning is something you want I'm 18 and I've been trying to battle dysphoria on my own before transitioning, simply because I want to take my time!!! Nobody is pushing you to go fast
As someone who procrastinated my transition for much longer than I should've, you should do it. Obviously, there's no rush, but it's worth considering that 99% of people who are considering transitioning will transition. People who are comfortable with their assigned gender at birth don't ever consider transitioning. I used to worry about transitioning because I didn't want to be an "ugly girl," and seriously, it's not worth worrying about. No happiness in the world will ever compare to the joy I felt when I started to see the effects of HRT.
I love this, im a Melbourne based trans girl and I’m 6 months into my transition and have constant issues with my eyebrows, as well as having quite a low brow bone, thanks for the help. ❤
Ooh bonus tip to check if a hairs going to leave a gap if you pluck it you can fold it down with the tweezers to see if it’s noticeable ☺️ RUclips gang :’)
I LOVE THIS!! You're so gorgeous, and we need more videos like this. It may seem so simple but these are the little things that can start changing someones life!!🥰
not a trans girl but I do have PCOS and am sometimes self concious about the way my forehead looks. found this very helpful, especially the advice to check in a couple days after changing something and seeing where to go from there. thank you
This really, REALLY helped me. First time properly trimming my eyebrows and not just excessive tweezing, honestly I don't know why i never thought of it but just didn't. Thank you so much for posting this!
for someone who does her makeup and eyebrows as capably as you do it's cute to see how nervous you get while doing it and talking about it, and even more so that you leave it in the edit and allow yourself to be vulnerable like that. Appreciate the tips, I've actually been working on my brows very slowly over the past few weeks just like you said, just plucking a little bit off the bottom at a time. Never thought to brush them down and cut them though, and I still haven't made them as thin as you have... and only just started cutting into that monobrow too. Looking forward to going further with your tips!
It's largely because I don't feel like I know what I'm doing even if I technically do because I figured out so much of it with trial and error so I'm terrible with terminology and explaining what's going through my head 😅 I hope you've got your brows to a place that you like now! maintaining is so much easier than the initial shaping so once you're there it's smooth sailing~
@@sydviera yes I have! at least as good as I can get them before going through forehead feminisation, brow lift and rhinoplasty. Annoyingly plucking out too much of my monobrow only highlights how wide my nose bridge is :/ and how prominent the bone just above it is. Either way thanks for the guidance, look forward to more videos from you.
Just discovered your channel and just wanted to say how pretty you are! I'm only a year in and some days are definitely tough but you're really inspiring! Thanks for the tips as well 🖤
Thank you so very much for this tutorial. I'm still vrey early in my transition and each time I try to cure my dysphoria with a gender swaping filter, my eyes and brows seems to be the "problem". So thank you for your video. Also you look so good ands kind, love from France ✨✨✨

Pre hrt mtf. I am looking to start early 2024. I enjoy running marathons, though I have always felt/ appeared large in my mid section/ wait. Guessing it’s probably worth loosing as much of that as possible before bulking when my levels have balanced out on hrt?
Within reason losing sins weight before starting can be beneficial but absolutely make sure you’re doing it in a healthy and stable way - trans people are extremely prone to developing eating disorders and we’ve gotta check in with ourselves regularly to make sure we’re not doing things that are detrimental to our wellbeing 💕 good luck!!!
Oh its definitely as long as i think it will be. Im 28, i moved provinces out of financial necessity 3 years ago, they do not transfer prescriptions; i havent heard anything in years and constantly seek referral, and I live in Alberta which has transphobe Danielle Smith as Premiere, so its highly likely that im going to die by my own hand waiting for care just like a good majority of others who are ahead of me in the waitlist. Im suffering because of menopausal symptoms holding my life hostage and i think im getting sick from the stress. Nothing is getting better and i have no supports left, my family are all either dead or stopped talking to me because im trans. We have to wait for other trans women to take their lives to get any hope of treatement. Really makes me feel like it just isn't worth trying.
I have stupid mono brow almost but I feel like if I do anything about it someone will ask or notice then I’ll be forced into a situation where I might have to come out
Plenty of men pluck the hairs between their eyebrows too! I did it for years and no one suspected anything, so you should be safe. I even subtly shaped the tops and bottoms... still no one knows!
I had very tidy brows before I transitioned! I got bullied as a kid for having a monobrow so my mum taught me how to do it when I was about 10. They were just like twice the size back then ahah
I've found recently that fluffing the eyebrows through styling them and combing them upwards and outwards with gel (which is a trend at the moment) also opens up the eye a bit more, gives the appearance of a higher and fuller eyebrow, and feminizes... But I'm not sure if I'm right about that... Any thoughts?!
Definitely a great brow technique if it fits your style! I prefer having thinner brows because I feel like it suits my style of makeup and such but feathered brows can be very cute and feminine. The most important thing is that you feel confident and like how they look, style doesn't matter as long as you're happy with them :)
Lately I've been paying attention to women's eyebrows in public and everywhere else as well and I've come to a general conclusion that most dont have a clue how to properly take care of their eyebrows. Or maybe i just live in the jungle 🫤. Thanks for all your very helpful advice and techniques.
and not grooming your bows is also a completely fine choice as long as you yourself are comfortable - just from personal experience keeping them tidy and reshaping them has helped my dysphoria a lot ☺️ I'm glad the video was helpful!!
ahah thank you! They weren't nearly as grown out as they are when left to roam freely - but I got sick of waiting for them to make the video so the effect isn't as dramatic as it could've been 😅
I'm actually said girl that has crazy bushy brows ahaha, when I let them grow all the way out they're actually twice the height vertically + a monobrow. Trimming them along can definitely help a lot but sadly there's no real way around plucking, because the other options are threading or waxing and they're more or less just different forms of plucking ahah. The pain gets a little easier to manage over time, just do what you can and give yourself breaks whenever you need, you'll get there ☺️

As a cis woman I can confirme that I do not take care of my eyebrows 😅
and not grooming your bows is also a completely fine choice as long as you yourself are comfortable - just from personal experience keeping them tidy and reshaping them has helped my dysphoria a lot ☺️ I'm glad the video was helpful!!
Came for the tutorial (~2months on HRT), stayed for Bob's Burgers gravy boat song.
Thank god I'm finding my target audience ahaha
I liked your eyebrows before, but this was a fun video. 😅
ahah thank you! They weren't nearly as grown out as they are when left to roam freely - but I got sick of waiting for them to make the video so the effect isn't as dramatic as it could've been 😅
Do you have any advice for girls who have like crazy bushy eyebrows? I tried plucking, but holy fricks does it hurt :c
