    Different kinds shampoo cause breakage but what is the best shampoo to use not use for breakage because I have a sensitive scalp some will have breakage when I comb my hair I have breakage from combing my hair because it almost feels like that I'm pulling my hair so what is the best thing to use or help my hair from not pulling my hair and when I dry my hair it feels like that my hair is breaking or falling out from drying my hair?

    Do you comb/brush your hair throughout the week? I’ve been doing it and I think that it’s causing me long pieces of breakage!

    Love your videos but I have to disagree with you about growing hair so fast is not true cuz I been spend and buying good products even use olaplex and I’m on hair journey for more then 5 years and my hair is no growing that fast At all. Scalp massage eating healthy drinking a lots of water.
    And believe any product you mentioned I have bought. Every time my hair get lower then the shoulder length I have to cut because the ends looks horrible. I also be more then a year with using any type of heat.
    So your advice will not work for everyone! Sorry just been honest!

    • @IannaYvonne
      @IannaYvonne  2 года назад +16

      Hello! Thank you for sharing this!! I appreciate the different perspective. As for not being able to grow that fast … healthy hair growth is about 1/2 inch per month. That’s 6 inches per year. That is regardless of hair type or ethnicity. In two years you should/can gain 12 inches of length. I personally can attest to this because during my year long journey I gained about 6 inches. Since being on RUclips ( 1 year ) I have gained about another 4 inches or so. I am no longer on a hair growth journey… just trying to maintain and keep my hair healthy … so I’m less concerned with how much hair is removed during my trims.
      That said there is something in your routine that is keeping you from retaining length. 5 years later, you should have significant results. If it’s not the products you are using then you may need to adjust your hair care behaviors. Best of luck on your journey. Reach out if you have specific questions. Happy to help if I can 💕

      Hi..sometimes its a genetic or health/ hormonal issues that will determine hair length & health.... remember that our bodies will give nutrients to vital organs first. Nails & hair will be last... Hair can be tricky sometimes 🤷‍♀️

      Also if you are having issues at shoulder length how are you wearing your hair? Is it touching your clothing when it hits the shoulder? My hair touches my shoulders maybe 3 days total all month. I am at mid back from shoulder length in 18 months since being home during COVID. Nowhere to go so it stayed wrapped or up in bun. Hair touching clothes will usually result in breakage. As long as your blood is flowing your hair is growing.

    • @floBar51651
      @floBar51651 2 года назад +2

      True. My hair sheds due to my hormonal issues. My hair won't grow at all but I follow her for ways to stay healthy with my relaxed hair even if super short. I am not aiming for hair growth or length retention because it is IMPOSSIBLE for me. Some people have better genes for hair growth and of course better ethnicity even when we are are all Black, and this lady is one of them. So followers should beware. My hair is the 4c - most hair you would ever encounter from thick core west Africa, it will not grow or retain length except if natural but I prefer being relaxed. So I have to endure the breakage and shedding and rough tips which I slice off. I have bought all the products she mentioned and did everything. This is not the first time I am seeing this with other genetically lucky RUclipsrs. So I am not tricked into believing that anything they say will make my hair grow like theirs. I just take the good advice for healthy hair and scalp, and keep it moving. LOL

      @@IannaYvonne Girl, it is GENETICS and HORMONES. Some folks aren't as lucky, and it's okay. No amount of external hair care behavior can fix it, some of us can only be happy with a healthy scalp and healthy no growth and that's fine. It is okay to acknowledge that.
