Please review the new Falken AT4W ! 👍🏻
Thanks for a great review, the tire looks very capable
Excellent video 😊
Was your script written by BF Goodrich?
No, not at all but I was trying a different format and be more polished. I think I’m going to go back to the way I wrote my notes before.
@@CampusautoCo Please!!!! This just seems like you are reading product brochures... we come here for your honest opinion and knowledge of tires!
Ok. I got you.
@CampusautoCo you can do shorts on RUclips. That is a popular thing today, and there is nothing wrong with making a short introductory video. You can't please everyone at the end of the day.
Yeah please. I thought this was a paid advertisement for the KO3.
How well do they balance? My kO2’s have a ton of weights to even out the balance.
I’ve seen your last review , and I’ve seen other reviews I’m willing to give these a try when my tires need to be changed . Cheers 🇨🇦
There's a video on YT of a guy with brand new KO3s that developed several splits in the sidewalls on 3 tires just from driving on street. Good luck with these.
That’s why the good lord created warranties!
What the hell was that? A review or commercial? It seemed like you were reading off a script.
I was, but it was a script I wrote. Not something that I was sent to read. I tried a different approach and so far it's not as well liked as my usual style. I write out talking points for every video and try to included manufacturer and compound information, but just getting straight into the deep dives of the features seems to be the best for everyone. I'll go back to what I used to do and stick with that. That works and that's what people come here for.
I wonder if the larger lug side biters would be a detriment in the sand at OBX. Down here in Coastal VA we play in sand more than snow and have boatloads of rain. I have KO2s on my Ram 2500 and they do fine. Trying to weigh the benefits of a KO3 purchase.
Please review Nokian Outpost nAT, seems like a great tire, would love to hear your opinion vs this ko3, thanks for your reviews they help a lot!
Matt I've usually had BFG KO2 and switched to the Falkin AT3. Loved them and got tons of miles on my F250. I need another set and want to compare the KO3 vs Falkin. Is it possible to put the same tire side by side? Why is BFG always smaller in height and width vs all others???? Matt do you ship tires out
Sounded like a paid commercial not a review… is the wet weather improved over the ko2?
Has bfg told you anything when they will be out in more sizes? Ima need new tires by the end of this year. Currently have 7/32 left out of my Baja boss ats with 95k on them. If they don’t I may try the new falken wildpeak at4w for a more road friendly tire and less weight going from a 10 to a 8 ply.
What’s a good tire for a 2011 Tacoma 4 cyl , live in eastern Ky, mainly highway miles but sometimes off road, mud, and snow for sure during the winter. Don’t want something to kill my gas mileage and power but I want a more meatier look lol. I currently have the Toyo open country at 2 but they are discontinued.
update on the trail terrains after 2 years?
Can we get a review on the Milestar Patagonia AT Pro? Thanks!
Can you review the Firestone firehawk V2
No matter where adventure takes you. Mud " Hi" ....
Can you take a second look at the Trail Terrain's, I'm considering them for my Grand Cherokee. I think you missed the purpose of the siping going so deep, it's my understanding that they go so deep for the tire to retain its snow rating as the tread wears down. Thanks Matt!
I love my trail terrains. No regrets.
Can you please do the Cooper Road and Trail;)
Can you get ahold of some of the new Duratrac RTs and review them!?
Do they have the white lettering on one side
Any idea when BFG is going to release these in all sizes?
Possibly April
On august at least on discount tires
Any idea what sizes there will be? 38x13.5?
Do you recommend the KO2 or the General grabber atx. Ko3 is not available in white letter which is an requirement.
It has white letters
Pls make a review comparison Ko3 vs duratract lt RT
Where to buy?
When are they going to release 35x12.50x17 white letter KO3's?
What’s your thoughts on this tire
BFGOODRICH
HD-TERRAIN T/A KT
I own a long Ford Expedition, a big car. I need to choose between 4 tire brands available in my country in Saudi. My priority is Comfort and quietness, it’s a family highway car and I need a soft and smooth ride , never have to deal with winter or even rain as it’s summer all year long.
I included each country where tires are manufactured ....
1) Bridgestone Alenza 001 - Japan
2) Michelin Primacy SUV plus - Thailand
3 ) Goodyear Wrangler Fort. HT Canada
4) Perelli Verde Scorpion A/S 2 Mexico
Which tires do you recommend and why? And can rank them from best to worst.
Thank you so much for your help
Do your own fucking research
You mentioned the open shoulder design improves traction in rain and snow (and mud). However the Trail Terrain has a closed shoulder design. Although I put a high priority on noise, I am nervous about selecting the Trail Terrain due to its closed shoulder design and lack of longitudinal tread grooves, and am thinking that the KO3 might be better. I don't care about mud performance at all, but rain and snow and ice, and low noise, are big priorities. What are your thoughts?
Either one will work fine. I would probably select the K03 before I selected the Trail Terrain but my tastes are different.
@@CampusautoCo thanks for your perspective and sharing what you would choose with your own personal tastes, however I was just hoping you might be able to make a suggestion for me based on my tastes as I had expressed them? If it's too hard to say based on the information I have given or the fact that the KO3 is so new, or you don't know, then I respect saying so more than making something up. Sorry if I'm being too forward here but I'm assuming you have a high level of expertise in these tyres and the way you explain them based on your reviews of both these tyres and others. Again I appreciate the information you are putting out.
This guy cant be serious lmao@@CampusautoCo. Buddy if you're wanting a quiet tire then don't go with an all terrain and get the trail version... you must be fun at parties 😂
Is that in Canadian
I'd try these but at that price point will consider other options and I'm a die-hard KO2 guy.
Could you review the Goodyear Wrangler Steadfast HT?
I will look into it. I have not seen one yet.
Thanks! I know there’s also a new Michelin Defender as well that I think a side-by-side with the one you reviewed back in 2021 would be cool to see
DO THEY COME IN 265 / 75 SERIES
How would you compare this with the Toyo Rt Trail? Which would you recommend?
I think the RT Trail is much more aggressive than the K03.
@@CampusautoCo Thanks for the response.
A product review without any negatives? That's a sales pitch.
KO2’s we’re great for me
Tried the KO3’s with awful luck- they rode like loud octagons in comparison and I sold them for a loss within 2,000 miles. I also lost a bit of mileage. SimpleTire was unresponsive and I got nothing but canned responses from BFG. Sorry to say, because they sure do look good.
These videos have become nothing but you reading the brand's markettng material.
What a bummer... I used to watch this channel to hear the real opinion of some one with experiecne. Not all your videos feels pretty useless, since you are just repeating what ever tire's PR managers say
Thanks Ramiel, so you're half right. I haven't been sent anything to read, but I research the marketing material and use that for my talking points. These past few videos I just went to hard into the points, and not enough off the top of my head. I'm still going to do my research and write out talking points, but I'm going to go back to the way I was doing it and go with what I know. Thanks for watching. I'll have a new review next Tuesday, come back and let me know if that one hits more close to home in why you come to this channel. Thanks again.
@@CampusautoCo That's great to hear then. Looking forward to those videos adn you spreading your knowledge and honest opinions. It really adds a much needed value to tire reviews on youtube.
I have question bought a 4 runner with iron man all country . The tread looks nice and has performed excellent very quit and good in rain . One attractive fact is the seem to be the lightest all terrain at2 . But I heard your review and others being mixed a good and then poor low level tire. . When time comes like to obviously get a better tire. . I want to stay with lightest possible, best wet weather traction and nice looking tread . Read about hankook dynopro and them being light weight . Then I read mixed reviews and some poor for wet weather traction concerning .
Then I see the kuhno and they are still on the lighter side and seem have good wet wether reviews .
I was considering
Nitto grapplers ,
Michelin defenders
General grabbers .
Wild peaks .
Continental terrain
My ultimate goal is quietest ride
Lightest weight for improved mpg and rotation mass
Best in rain and snow
Most aggressive tread for off road looks
What’s your opinion ?
You seem to be extremely knowledgeable
Hi Matt, are they noisy? 🛞
No, Not really.
What sizes are they available in.
Not alot right now but there will be more to come.
@@CampusautoCo Thank you for the reply and the awesome videos
From what I can find, the KO3 is only made in a few sizes.
I'm stuck with BFG because no one makes a comparable AT in 33X10.5X15
Thanks for making. Doesn't seem quite as informational about the tire as your earlier video about it. Still a good video
This week we tried a new format and so far it's showing that I need to just stick with what works. Thanks for watching! Next weeks video I'll get right to the point and toss the added talking points out the window.
Hello, I kindly need your help sir ... could you answer my previous post. Thanks
Did he say $399
Yes. Inflation has got to everything!
I bet you get your moneys worth.... Im bout to find out!!
$400 per tire lmao nah hard pass
In 2032 when they're a subscription and cost $400 a year per 10k miles you'll appreciate how cheap they are.
@@nathansharma87what dystopia 1984 shit are you talking about
If you can’t even afford $400 a tire, how can you afford any vehicle?
@@jtomtl 400x5 is $2000 not including taxes, mounting and balancing
@@daymianhayes2493 dude, it’s a premium AT tire, most people buy one set for their vehicle and run all 4 seasons, what do you expect? $200 everything included? X5…. You are switching the spare to this too? Yikes
And no RWL. I haven't bought KO2 since they gave up the RWL. Pissed me off.
Nice try BFG
295/70r18 showing $316 at discount tire, cheaper than the ko2
Too pricey!
It was really weird to watch this video while you read off a sales brochure rather than be yourself.
Thanks for that feedback. I did my research and then wrote my script, but so far people aren't liking that approach so I'm just going back to the no fluff straight shoot style I used to do. I have an older video I filmed that I hadn't release coming out and a new review on the Michelin Defender 2 that will becoming out this weekend. Thanks for letting me know I appreciate it.
Sounds like a paid advertisement for the ko3
$400???? I paid $250 per tire for my KO2. f*ck out of here 😂
Literally a commercial lol sounds so scripted
Worst balancing tire on the market, from my experience, good wearing , great off rd, look wicked and a shit ride.. Pros and cons I spose..
Start at $400 a tire??? 🤣🤣 f to the u!
Very NPC review.
what do you think is the best tire for ram 1500 big horn the O.E.M don't last long at all and looking for a better fit. I work in the concrete business so mostly highway and some off road.
