I believe there is a part where you can get to adjust the rpm when you turn on the ac. We didn't have to do this. Our jeep is fuel injected, and the jeep doesn't stall.
Thank goodness I’m in Texas and they don’t check for the catalytic converter. I eliminated that thing and the heat is gone! It’s so much more enjoyable to drive nowB
We lived in Bedford TX for 11 years, they did require the catalytic converter in the cities. Now in Florida where they don't even have an inspection. Also the highest outside temp is 95F plus we don't get freezing winters.
@@paleo704 I just had both my vehicles inspected and they never looked at anything remotely related to the cat or the exhaust at all. I’ve lived here my whole life and have had many vehicles and also have been a mechanic for years never had my exhaust checked.
On a 85 CJ7 do you think the carb should need to be configured to compensate for the condenser? Thanks

@@paleo704 maybe the county you live in does but they don’t require an emissions test in the county I live in
It was the county in Texas, Bedford is right next to the dfw airport.
Hello, did you have an issue of when turning on the ac the engine idle drops, running very rough?
When we first turn the AC on it will cause the idle to drop, but once on the idle normalizes.
I have the same ac set up, when I turn on the ac it constantly screams wines. Any suggestions?
Is it from the engine or the unit under the dash?
What belt size did you use?
The kid comes with the belt. jeepair.com/collections/wrangler-ac-kits?
