"Why so farrrr????" 1. Because there are already videos scheduled. I post K-Pop reaction videos on Monday and Wednesday only. This gives me an opportunity to share the other content i'm passionate about for this channel. 2. Releasing content like this allows me to keep the channel consistent and focus on other projects other than trying to keep a daily youtube schedule since I run two businesses. It's all a part of my quarterly releases. Which you can see here: airtable.com/shrkUSn8a34srUFLh. (Patrons get access to the master lists, and early releases) 3. Traditional studios and movies promote their content months in advance prior to the premiere to help build anticipation. The public already knows the date of when these movies are coming out. I know I'm no big-time studio, but why can't I take a similar approach to my content? Want early access to content? Become a patron! patreon.com/emeroyb
It's great thanks you very mich for your hard work I really like the point by point. It's very instructive to see it's by the eyes of a dancer. Even if it was not the good live performance if you wanted to see all the choreography rehearsal into performance. It's this one ruclips.net/video/6LHtLizAV2Y/видео.html or this one ruclips.net/video/floMqK_yHf8/видео.html. Thanks you again.
Absolutely. My favorite live performances that I've seen in their concert were Hobi and V. They were born to be on the stage. Hobi is a beast on the stage.
Hoseok truly is a beast in this song, it's his area and he makes sure we all know it lol Also the Mama 2017 mic drop performance was truly insane...three different dancebreaks with all different vibes they truly were insane
As a professional choreographer, isn't that so much fun and satisfaction to choreo a dance on such a big stage? Watch them practicing in studio is already sick, but on a stadium stage, man, I might die in satisfactory to watch it live with my own eyes.
The rap line performed 'Outro: Tear' before 'Mic Drop' in this set - Hobi in this Dior outfit is an especial ARMY favorite; the two songs performed back-to-back sent the audience into overdrive!
j-hope definitely slayed, he is a seasoned hip hop dancer, dancing and blowing people away since childhood. Also his verse is the one which inspired the entire song of Mic Drop in the first place.
The body roll in Mic Drop makes me think of a beating heart. Then the way they have their arms open while body rolling looks as if protecting something which makes me feel as if they are protecting a beating heart.
Yeah, there are parts of choreo that the production director for BTS and TXt don't "clean up" cause they let the performers have a bit of their own thing in the dances. So like with the arms for the final part of Hobi's section, they have NEVER been the same. BH seems to like in sync mostly as necessary. They used to be seriously crazy with how in sync they were but I think over the years the staff/the groups have seen that some of their own personality quirks and moves as long as it doesn't ruin the whole piece is nice. They love adding their flavor and they know the fans enjoy it. So if it's not breaking the piece in a bad way, they let them be free and play.
Responsible for this music J-Hope, master of choreography, rapper and stable voice in each choreography. Cap boy specialized in popping and gives everything even in the easiest practices. I know many times you mention it just because of his dance without knowing who is just J-hope if it is worth mentioning for being a main dancer of the group. I love your work and I appreciate the effort.
If anyone would like to make requests you can visit Emeroy's patreon! Or you can wait until the next Twitch stream for another donation option for requests or voting.
Is like we used to say, its like Jhope control the music with his body and when he is in the stage he does control the crowd, you can't look away of him.
Yesss hobi is a beast! And yeah sadly I think jimin was sick that day 🥺 poor guy! Edit: just finished the video, as always your insight is awesome, I learn so much! Thank for doing these! Any chance you'll react to the butter performances? They're SO COOL!
I have a theory that this was most probably filmed as a reference for the camera directors for marking, and then was released as a content. Mainly because they’re wearing name tags to identify members which is common practice in the K-pop industry. It also explains why some members are more relaxed than they would be for an official dance practice videos. :)
I just found this. Thanks for your review. I love the old stuff. They're wearing name "tags" so they can be identified. I wonder which rehearsal this was. They're known to rehearse for days.
"Hold me back!! Imma attack you with body rolls". "Let's walk to the wall ... and destroy it." 🤣🤣 You have such a way with words!!! And YES!! Strong CYPHER vibes!!! 🔥🔥🔥 BTS always brings powerful performances, but the sheer grit and intensity of MIC DROP holds a special place in my heart. It reminds me of their earlier stuff - If I Ruled The World, Attack on Bangtan, Baepsae, Paldogangsan, and ofc those legendary Gayo Daejeon performances!! It almost felt like everything's come full circle, so it was really fitting that they went back to hip hop as the vehicle to celebrate their success (and roast their haters)! _Fun fact:_ you mentioned the "call & response" at 17:07. In "Boyz With Fun", there's a "V on Top" moment in the dance where V/Taehyung ad libs a move and then everyone copies him. Except in MIC DROP, it's "BTS on Top"! 🏆🏆🏆🔥😉
Emeroy, I've been watching your reaction videos for awhile now, and while I'm a veryyyyyyy beginner dancer, because of your analyses, I recognize details I wouldn't otherwise notice (e.g. how groups use the floor, textures). Thanks for taking the time to explain your analysis at a level even non-dancers can understand. I am definitely learning from your videos! Keep up the great work man.
Why hasn’t RUclips recommended your videos to me before now?? This is exactly the kind of reaction I want to watch and I’m learning so much as a non-dancer! I love that you are you showing me why to appreciate their choreography beyond just it looking cool to my ignorant mind
Is the one you said about the variety texture, V? If yes, I feel it too, I call push & pull energy 😂 like he feel it. Also their facial expression, they kill it!! Love your reaction a lot 🤘
@@FlowerLotusThe I only said because he seemed to like the outfits in the video and you have to admit they are pretty iconic. they've even been put up in the hybe museum. so yeah I don't see the problem here
@@FlowerLotusThe ??? Did you not watch the video. Emeroy quite LITERALLY says multiple times in this video "ooo, I like that outfit" "oh, I want that jacket" "I want that jacket too" throughout the whole time seeing the performance. Why are you pressed about people disclosing the brand? And someone being "obsessed" with brands is not your business anyways, why is that an issue?
I would love to see a video of your thoughts on Jin. He’s improved so much and he’s doing so great. I can see his heart in each dance routine. I love it.
I’m more analytical for vocals and the placement of the instrumentals, like I know that they’re all great dancers but I’m not a dancer, so it’s really nice to see it from the point of view of someone who professionally does or has knowledge about dance, it really makes you appreciate the performance as a whole.
Loved your reaction!! One of my fave vids of bts is when during one of the concerts someone in the staff played the wrong version of mic drop (without the last part) and everyone is so hyped up, our fave moment is gonna happen in a second... but the music cuts and everyone on stage is doing the agressive bodyrolls to no music 😭 it was so funny but caught me off guard the first time I saw it!
Thank you so much for this! I really appreciate you taking your time to give your thoughts in every video you upload ♡ have a great day! Can't wait for the next one :))
Sometimes you say that K-pop idols are singer first and dancers last I just want to say that that is not true some idols are dancers first then singer/rapper for example j- hope (the guy with the cap and t-shirt) he is a dancer then rapper he addition as a dancer, he dances longer than he raps/sings
Nice reaction as a non-dancer i really enjoyed it and learned a lot!! I would recommend from them jimin and jungkook dancing black and white by michael jackson, hoseok(j-hope) jimin and jungkook segment in bts festa 2017 and pretty much every award performance hahha thanks for the video !!
At time stamp 24:37, you made me spit out the water I was drinking with what I read...LOL. I was a great student and watched the full video you made. Work, time, reaction, and lesson was not in vain with this one here. :)
Jajaja... Me encanta como todos quedan fascinados con BTS. Como se van emocionando poco a poco hasta que llegan al punto en el que lo disfrutan. 😂😂😂😙😊😉🎶💃💖💖💖🐨🐥🐱🐰🌞🐻🐭
I had to laugh a little at you explaining what a cypher was because BTS is known for their rap cyphers 😂 but you probably don’t get many requests for them because of course there’s no dancing. Watching your breakdowns is really refreshing and informative!
Comment #232. Yeah, only a year late, but maybe someone will be entertained by this... 16:10 Funny thing about Jimin having the "best spot". His stans notice when he gets the worst spot. "Here we go again! Did you see the distance he had to cover that time? It's always Jimin." "Because he's so quick on his feet!" "It's not fair. His legs are shorter." "Don't say he's short!" "I didn't!" "You did!" Such comments trended for awhile. ... Well, this time he caught a break!
Yes! That was a great review! So detailed and in depth 👌 please react to Hoshi's Spider as well! He's the main dancer and choreographer for Seventeen 😁
Something I didn't notice at first... their MIC switch game is ON POINT! The MIC Suga drops at the end it NOT his MIC. He drops a fake/cheap MIC and Jin taps his live MIC to make the hit/drop sound. O_O Mad Skilz.
I’d love so much if you did baepsae (aka silver spoon aka crow tit aka try hard ... it has many names lol) by BTS. I think you might really enjoy it. There is a dance practice and live performances (the Epilogue Japan performance in 2016 I believe has a nice dance break). If you wanted beforehand there is a Korean explains video on dkdktv that breaks down the lyrics of the song. I know you’re a busy guy so not sure if you’d be able to squeeze that part in, but the choreo goes so well with the meaning on the song. Anyways, thanks in advance if you get a chance to do it! One of my favorite choreos of theirs and isn’t reacted to by dancers as much as I wish it was! Lol
Hobi kills Mic Drop, the vibe of the song fits him so well. Jimin is not feeling well :( in the dance practise (kinda sad that he has to practise even on days when his energy is low) but what I want to commend him on is that he is really good at "marking" his spot, and like you said, we know he will bring the energy during the performance.

😂 "I don't know if they are threatening you with the body roll or inviting you to join them for the body roll." Lol
Everyone falls for Dior Hobi.
I’m late for this, but as an Ot7 Stan, I can tell you I have a bias when Hobi comes out in Dior, it’s just too perfect
Agree
Hobi is a GREAT performer, everyone in BTS is but Hobi has something that when you see him live, its very captivating
Absolutely. My favorite live performances that I've seen in their concert were Hobi and V. They were born to be on the stage. Hobi is a beast on the stage.

Mic drop is hobi's performance. No matter how hard I try to look at other members he always steals the show. 😍
He was born to be on the stage
j-hope definitely slayed, he is a seasoned hip hop dancer, dancing and blowing people away since childhood.
Also his verse is the one which inspired the entire song of Mic Drop in the first place.
the fact that they brought this level of energy for their "last" song (before the encore) is chefs kiss*.
Hobi is definitely a beast, he's such an amazing dancer/performer.
You should react to old BTS rehearsals, like Bulletproof pt2 (that hat throw), Danger, Dope, No More Dream. They were already so good at 15 yo.
I agree. Young Bangtan was always good which amazes me because they never had that "awkward" look in my opinion 😉) 😅
Hobi is passionare even when practicing.
I admire him.
Mic Drop is JUNG HOSEOK's song. You can't convince me otherwise.
j-hope definitely own the stage when he's performing 🔥🔥🔥
Waiting for "Not Today" Dance Practice and BTS MAMA 2019 performance💜

This is the song that made me an army and i became one only this year. The mv and the song was on repeat for probably a month.
Is like we used to say, its like Jhope control the music with his body and when he is in the stage he does control the crowd, you can't look away of him.
We still say this. This is fact.
Dior Hobi was a historic moment

One think I love that they do is switching between each other and it's so cool. Like rotating on the bridge.
Jimin is so tired in this video, but I guess they practiced hundreds of times cause this was for TV.
I think this was when he was sick?
Yes, he was sick during this dance practice.
