The books are called Dynamic Curly and Dynamic Curly Extended. Dynamic Curly Extended is a paperback book on Amazon.

    HI! So i just stumbled upon your channel because i was looking up tips and tricks for going natural because I want to go natural after I graduate and I'm moving down south so its going to be hot there! Anyway I was just wondering if I should do the big chop and then go natural, or if it would be easier to just stop getting relaxer and using heat. I had a sew in before and was wondering if i should just get those while my hair is growing out or if that would be more damaging? I know you might not know the answers and you don't know my hair but I'd just thought I would ask to get someones opinion that has gone natural. Anyway thanks for reading this if you do!

    I'm from the West Indies and my mum would make castor oil and she used it in my hair all the time and my hair was really thick and long. I'm relaxed now and about to transition and I'm gonna use castor oil to grow my natural hair.

    hey! i love your videos.... question, new to transition so how long before i could do a chop and start using the products? I stop relaxing ma hair in april 2014 that was the last time i relax

    • @ShanazTube
      @ShanazTube  10 лет назад

      It depends on what you want. You may be able to tell the difference in texture between your natural and relaxed hair. You'll have to ask yourself at which point you want to cut off your relaxed hair. I knew that I didn't want to do a BIG chop and rock short hair. That's why I prefer to transition to a point that I'm comfortable with length and I feel that my hair is healthy. But you can start using these products now.

      -keep it moisturized, put water and a good oil in a spray bottle and spray all over, allow it to DRY! it's also ok to wash your protective styles, braids included.

    I haven't had a relaxers in almost a year. but it doesn't seem like my hair has changed besides it getting thicker, whenever I sweat hard my roots curl. yes I've been flat ironing it. should I stop? and I was thinking about getting my hair cut and then getting braids or is that doing too much? please answer i have nobody to help I'm and I need help... S.O.S

    • @TingleHaven24
      @TingleHaven24 9 лет назад +3

      You should stop flat ironing it. & no it's not doing too much. Just make sure the braids isn't causing anymore damage to ur hair. & if u do get braids remember to keep ur scalp clean & moisturizing

      @MIMI232 9 лет назад

      + jakireya mcgee sorry to but into this post, but I'm thinking about getting braids to help me transition. Can you please let me know what is the best way to keep my scalp clean & moisturised with the braids? I've had braids before but just usually leave them for 6 weeks then remove them! Thank you in advance for any reply :)

    • @TingleHaven24
      @TingleHaven24 9 лет назад +1

      To keep your scalp clean. You're going to get your favorite shampoo & a applicator bottle. Put shampoo & water in it then apply That to you're scalp & massage it in. When done just spray water to rinse everything out. Or wash it out. Even when having braids you still have to wash ur scalp. For moisturizing you're going to do need a spray bottle, your fav conditioner & a oil. Don't Really matter how much you put in there just even everything out. Once in you're going to shake everything up & spray your roots & braids. But focus on ur scalp also.

    • @TingleHaven24
      @TingleHaven24 9 лет назад

    I don't get why so many people love Cantu's leave in, i've tried and and it was like i put nothing on my hair, it just sat on it and didn't do anything, but i guess everyone's hair is different! My go to leave-ins are Kinky-Curly Knot Today, and the one i love the most in Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-in cream, its amazing!!

    • @Lilgato08
      @Lilgato08 9 лет назад

      It depends on how you use it. If my hair is dry and I use it...my hair still feels dry after it dries (it wets your hair). If I use it while my hair is wet and then seal it my twist outs stay mosturized for 2 or 3 days before I need to add a little to my hair. Im 6 months transitioning... It doesnt work some either way.

    • @noellerose

      For leave-ins I like kinky curly knot today, or Neutrogena triple moisture leave-in, and all my other products are pretty much Shea moisture with an exception of like one or two products, but my Shea moisture products are all from different lines

    Hi there...I am looking for more information/more video journeys about transitioning from relaxed to ones natural curls. I currently have below bra strap length relaxed hair, it's healthy, think and continues to grow...I just wanted to try something new, other than cutting it again. I usually relax every 7 months to a year depending on what I am doing in that season. Florida weather is crazy so I usually keep it braided up since I work out and swim it's a lot easier to wash in braids/plaits. If you know of anyone that is transitioning without doing "the big chop" could you please direct me to their channel? Thank you in advance and have a grand day!

      The night before washing your hair , you can mix oils of your choice such as coconut oil , olive oil, and castor . You warm them a little and put them on your hair all night and the morning you can Wash your hair . It is very good to prevent breakage

    I am a natural girl . I been natural for two months now after I cut my split ends and heat damaged hair . Since then I've been buying all type of products to define my curls .. But the only problem is the majority of the back of my hair won't curl at all 😔 . I've used Eco styler , Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie , and nothing seems to curl the back of my hair . But the front is fine . Expect that fact that when I wake up in the morning my hair is extremely dry . So dry it doesn't even fall it just stands right on the top if my head . So yesterday I got fed up and cut off all my hair from the top of my ear and down . I don't know if I made a mistake or not . Someone please help me . Because I'm starting to feel like being natural isn't FOR ME . 😢😢

      well... the back and the front has just about meet up now.. at this point i'm still tryna find the right formula for my day to day routine because i would wake up and my hair would be really frizzy and just kinda all over my hair... i have very thick coarse hair... so its fairly hard to manage.

      Aww man!! I only get flaking if I mix it with the wrong moisturizer. I always test it on my hand first to make sure the two work well together. I do not like the Olive Oil Eco, it's not as moisturizing for my hair. Just goes to show not all hair is the same. Thanks for watching :) xx

    Hi I liked your video. It had a lot of good info for taking care of natural hair☺.But I just thought you should know about argan oil. I used to use it until I found out what it was.20/20 did a special on it to show where it came from and how it was made the autumn of 2016, I think. Yeah they told me it was goat poop. Yeah they showed how the goat ate the argan fruit, the the natives waited until they pooped it out and made argan oil from it. I was so horrified that I still check ingredients to hair care products to make sure I don't put anymore goat poop in my hair and on my hands. That is just disgusting. I honestly think that they should be sued ☹. Just thought you should know because I was glad and sad to find it out. Glad because I could now stop using it and sad because I already had used it 😢.
