This is my fav dt2 boss and i think it is the second easiest. The design is the best the environment is the best the mechanics are the best the loot is good one of the best bosses they have ever released so far
Did 45 Levi right after the quest since I got it as a slayer task , used dragon crossbow and webweaver for final phase . Thank you so much for this guide , helped with keeping my sanity 😂
idk how to get through the enrage. its either i get hand fed a all mage or all range combo while i dump two webweaver specs. or i get an endless mage, range, mage, range. its all luck and its so frustrating because i can do the lead up to the enrage flawlessly
Acutal Attack cycles are as follows 1st set - Mage/Range 4T 2nd set - Mage/Range 3T 3rd set - Mage/Range/Melee 3T 4th set - Mage/Range 2T 5th set - Mage/Range/Melee 2T 6th+ - M/R/M 1T After special it returns to 2nd set. Only get the 1st set at start of kill.
no it's not: 1st set - Mage/Range 4T 2nd set - Mage/Range 2T 3rd set - Mage/Range/Melee 2T 4th set - Mage/Range 1T 5th set - Mage/Range/Melee 1T 6th set - Mage/Range/Melee 1T but you only see 1 orb in advance instead of 2 7th set - Mage/Range/Melee 1T but you have to pray against the orb before it's lauched toward you rather than before it hits you. No idea what comes after but i assume it just repeats the last one.
As the last reply says, armadyl and ACB are not worth. Get masori, even if it’s unfortified. The accuracy/dmg bonuses are the same. Otherwise, blowpipe/dragon crossbow are all good
Slight mistake: Obviously you need Song of the Elves for Bofs/Crystal armor. Whoops :D
How do you highlight the orb in the engraged phase shown at 4:54?
Go to npc indicator and type abyssal pathfinder

Turn run off during boulder special attack. Much easier
Nah no need, just count 2 boulders move 1 tile, 2 boulder noises move 1 tile. Make a line/L shape

Apparently it doesnt matter what lvl of shadow spell you use, so using shadow rush can save a few runes per cast

Downgrade suggestions from bowfa / crystal armour? Arma with Arma Cbow?
An upgrade path is to go do other content, get enough for the crystal stuff and then come farm these.
His suggestion in video was Dcb with enchanted Ruby dragon bolts
Just FYI- arma cbow is literally never worth the outrageous GP that it costs.
