    00:44 Webinar starts.
Watch this webinar recording with Dani Abram, Rig Supervisor/Animator from Cartoon Saloon & Aardman Animations from Wednesday, March 20 at 9am PDT (California Time). In this webinar, Dani will take us through some best practices for setting up and rigging characters for a production pipeline, and why this can save time and headaches throughout a project. If you’ve ever wondered how the big studios do it, we’ll take a look at a complex rig from the Puffin Rock movie, and discuss how the same principles can be used to suit your project’s budget and scope. Following his demonstration, there will be a Q&A session.
    About the presenter

Thanks so much! I learned a lot from this! Seeing how you did the switch layer for the ear on the head turn made me realize how to fix a lot of my rigging issues. Thanks!

Thanks for this Dani! The styles demonstration, especially for the hand packs etc blew my mind - as did referencing rigs! Would love to see that demo on the head turn you had planned that you unfortunately ran out of time for.

Fab tutorial. Coming from doing cg at uni now learning moho and I'm loving how transferable the ch skills are. Its amazing how quick you can get animating in Moho. BTW always characters left/right but I love the top/bottom usage - Is this common in moho shows?

Dani, would you look at how I am rigging our characters?

Another Question. Can we import Adobe Illustrator layers into Moho. Example - A characters head positions using 6 to 10 layers. Is this possible? Also can we import music wav files if we wanted to animate a character dancing or playing drums or guitar?

A Request Please! It would be nice to see a rigging tutorial from nothing to s full working character. Someone explaining the layer system in detail. Im new here and forced to think of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop layer system. I'm sure its not the same.

You could make much simpler system for animators. Now u have 2 separate bones for rotating head, but u can combine it into just one, same is with eyes.

I just subscribe to @mohogal with this account and my personal. I was wondering about the body_mask layer that you copied into each eye group... Are those body mask layers like reference layers of the main body layer? Are they bound separately to a bone in the same fashion as the main body layer?

30 minutes waiting for BUILDING A... and nothing happens, at least for the ones who just start animating. Its TEACHING BY DOING, not by imaging HOW I DID IT.

Dear Lost Marble company, I just would like to know why you decided to provide your user manual ONLY ONLINE ? Every company provides a PDF USER MANUAL. It's a shame, sorry to tell you that. And you are protecting it like if it was a jewel. Very strange. I paid for your software and I want to be able to read the user manual OFF LINE. I hope you will change your point of view about it. Thank you in advance.

You can download a PDF for 13.5 here: chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/lostmarble.net/Manuals/Moho%20Users%20Manual_HQ.pdf It will only be missing the new 14 features (liquid shapes etc) which you can then easily look up if/when you need them?

Are you saying not to purchase this. I would like an off line manual as well but it sounds like this may not be a software I should invest in correct?
