Not only is this song great, this is a good representation of Australian music. Australia is one of the top countries for prog rock and metal.
I'm a Yank that lived in Oz in the late 90s. No continent in the world has more stellar music engineers, producers, techs, and artists to drive an industry than does Australia.
As a video-game industry insider back then, I got to tour the Sony studios in Sydney and was like "WTF!!! How do a mere 20 million people get access to all this gear and expertise??!!"

I'm a big fan of Eurovision and watch it every year. I never agree with the winners but my musical tastes are different to the majority who watch Eurovision. Doesn't mean that those others who have gone forwards aren't talented, just different.

I think (as a progressive rock band) Pain of Salvation was applied before, but the music was hardly a progressive (or even rock) music as this one. Nevertheless I will be so happy if they go to top! Go Voyager! Love from Turkey!

I love how this song kept getting heavier as it went on, yet still kept that electronic bounce. Definitely surpassed my expectations as a years-long Voyager fan.
I've hardly ever been this excited about a band in Eurovision national qualifiers. We have great rock bands in Finland, but Voyager was all new to me and they're already filling my playlists. I wish Australia decides to send these guys to Europe as well.

@@hazardeur Because it's Europe except for Australia. Australia was allowed to enter because of decades of strong viewership from the country, presumably stemming from and boistered by European expats. Australia also sent acts before their official entry. Rumour has it that it was also an opportunity to boost viewership numbers. Much to a lot of people's surprise, Australia stayed in the competition.
Whether or not we should still be in it is up for debate, but I guess it's been so long now that they're probably not going to take us out.
In any case, they're not going to change the title of a competition that has run for 65 years with the aim of uniting Europe, just because they let Australia have an entry for 6 years. All countries are part of the European community, except for Australia which is still an EBU member.
What would you want to call it, Worldvision? Euro- & Australia- vision? If you look at the history and ask yourself that, you can hopefully understand why it's still called Eurovision.

Yeah they can bring some fun into Metal. When they played in Berlin the in the middle of the set said Okay, we are in Berlin, the homeland of Techo and just blasted some techno beats
I got to see these guys in Baltimore, MD, and they were just magnificent. Superb show, and absolutely hilarious stage banter. Brilliant band!
