i dont think it hits the driver, but for sure the car. :D you can see he drives around the corner, after a hit like that the driver should be death i guess
I hadn't ever seen the crash with Aleshin and Bonanomi at 4:54 before today. Bonanomi actually clipped the scoring pylon! As an IndyCar fan, this only makes me fearful of IMS's pylon. I really think that it's only a matter of time before someone hits that thing during the 500.

And if you notice, most of these crashes are caused by dangerous late blocks that the FIA could've stamped out years ago but insist the leader has the right to swerve over on a car that has a run on them to try and intimate them So the FIA are as much to blame as the dodgy drivers in front of these crashes

If a driver caused me to crash such as this (in too many cases), he would never race again... I w of would ensure it if I lived through their negligence. Most of these are NOT caused by driver error!!
Webber throwing his steering wheel out of his car seconds after a flip an big impact, made my day.

Campos F3000 1995 too.
Some of the driving/defending for some of these crashes is absolutely criminal!!

These flips were the reason the new cars in Indycar covers the rear end tyres.
T-bone crashes tend to be more dangerous but yeah the lack of control when flying in the air can be dangerous for fans as well as drivers/marshals.
