Going to have to make these for my daughter for supper sometime even maybe have her daughter help me and make them for her momma for mother's day dinner
Love your style! I could/would throw a slice or 2 of swiss on those onions, then on top of some toasted garlic bread, and maybe some mustard. Or not. Endless possibilities.
sweet onions. I do same size cut, no skewers. Olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder Grilled hot while grilling bubba turkey burgers. Stack the onion on top of the cheddar turkey burger. DONE
How come you don’t use the starter that came with your Weber girl? I have the same grill and it has a built in propane starter system. Try it you might like it just sayin
Hello! Will totally try this. Also, just letting you know I used the beef seasoning on a smoked Tri-tip (your recipe) for Easter, and I used the chicken seasoning on a ATK cast-iron roasted chicken recipe that was better than the pantry seasonings I'd previously used. Just fantastic!
As you empty your charcoal bag, tear off a chunk and split the paper and wad it up and light it under the chimney to start the coals.... It's what I do...
I am truly amazed that you do not have more subscribers. Everything you do is well explained and fairly easy to follow. Thanks for all the great content!
That is so weird that you carry a filet in your back pocket too. The Boy Scout motto is Be prepared. You never know when you will come across a hot grill. 😂😂
I love the video, grilled onions are amazing. Nothing goes better on a nice juicy steak....maybe some peppers and mushrooms! I've got a great new way to light charcoal chimneys, that makes it safer, and easier no matter where you are grilling! You've got to check it out. Can't wait to see the next Video!
These look fantastic and I may serve them with you smoked chicken breasts. I am wondering if I can do these on the pellet grill, or do they really need the intense heat of a charcoal grill. Thanks.
Trim, peel, skewer then cut. Cutting after skewering is not only easier but also reduces the chance you stab your hand.
OMG, have cooked Walla Walla sweet onions on the BBQ for years but never thought to secure them like this. Brilliant!
Just grilled up your onion recipe...Awesome!
You getting tang toungled had me laughing my arse off! Love these shows!
I leave them in a bag so they saturate in that marinade. Even more phenomenal!
These are amazing I plan to make all my veggies this way. Happy mothers day.
I'm a member because of recipes like this.

Doesn’t that gas assist Weber light the charcoal without the other stuff?
It can, but I find it easier and more consistent to light it myself.
WE LOVE YA GIRL.. THE DILLARDS.

They can be done on a pellet grill for sure!
Would this work with the pellet grill? Would it have the same effect?
It can be done on the pellet grill, but it is harder to get that nice caramelization since you're cooking with indirect heat.
@@Heygrillhey thank you
Your hair looks amazing lol
Has anyone tried these on a pellet grill? Temp?
Sorry. 400, should have finished the video first. Still anyone tried pellet grill or Spanish/Red onions?
Hey!!!
We can tell you're stressed over the new improvements. I'd recommend taking a break to recharge.
How did you get your name
I made it up! It's a play on a quote from a really old TV show.
These were the most labor intensive item I've ever cooked. On top of that they never got done. Will NOT be doing again.
I’d like some meat with that salt omg
Too much fuel for 6 onion slices. Can't wait to try this.
🤪😛❤❤
