Would be cool if you can find other social medias to get out till younger crowds, you have anyone that views your baits for you, or do you know someone
I think it is actually a nice looking lure. Have you ever tied alcohol ink? I am a resin crafter and that is one of the coloring options along with pigment paste, mica powder and glitter. Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, and JoAnn’s all have this plus other types of colorant for various crafts.
They make a sugar free version of Jello with artificial sweetener you could try. Also I don't know if they still make it, but there were versions of gelatin that didn't have the sugar already added, (you added your own to prepare it), but had the flavor and color. See if these are still in the market and try again.
I made my first re melt tubes made some 🍉 red 👻 tubes I have some molds on the way! I love your videos, will ink powder work for a dye. Found some at hobby lobby.
Crazy Idea but you can adjust the height of the injector to stagger them. so get the c-block blend and then pearl bottom with the split or triple inject baby bass but swirl the top with a red and get purple effects. Maybe give a shot just for the hell of it.
As a broke dude what brand of plastisol do you recommend? I made some injection molds from plaster and tried melting down old lures and I'm not getting the greatest results
@@WorldsWorstFishing alrighty thanks for the reply 🙂 too bad that sugar burnt and u got air bubbles, I was thinking it would work ! Maybe for your next video try some water paint stuff I'm curious if it would work if u ground it up!
Could you make it with just Jello? I’ve seen people fish with gummy candy before, and that’s the same basic thing as jello but with a different consistency. Would it be possible to make a purely jello lure that’s firm enough to put on a hook and still has action?
@@WorldsWorstFishing Jell-O part two. Wonder of sugarfree Jell-O would burn the same. Cherry or Chocolate looks like the only ones that had any color. Most others would be too vague of color.
Sugar free Jello may be a better option! All of the gelatin and flavoring, none of the sugary fluff as sugar free version uses a much stronger sweetener in a lesser quantity
I thought this was a video about making soft lures from JELLO, not just pigmenting them with it. Here in Maine we are weaning away from plastic-based lures to biodegradable ones because they stay in the environment when lost and are eaten by fish and birds. There has got to be SOME way to do it. More exploration is needed...
Glycerin base compounds can work, but show very little promise as a usable alternative to plastisol for us home bait makers, not to mention they have very weak shelf lives.
@@WorldsWorstFishing thanks for that info. I did run across a video on making biodegradable "plastic" from cornstarch, and a few other interesting ideas. This looks like a fun experiment, for sure!
This is exactly what I'm looking into right now. I'm no Greta, but I just can get into polluting the waters with even more plastic nor killing fish and birds wastefully. Gotta be a better way. I've not tried yet, but Agar (Agar Agar) is much stronger than other gelling agents. Saw a recipe that I'm going to try from "TackleKing" on YT. I think his was equal parts Animal Gelatin, Glycerin and water. They seem pretty soft but durable. I'm planning to play with Agar to see how it works. And a word of caution: "Biodegradable" is a misleading term that people mistake as environment friendly. In many cases, it's actually worse. The problem is the product "degrades" into smaller plastic particles. So it's just speeding up the plastic actually becoming worse for animals. But companies know that people confuse "Biodegradable" and "Compostable". Compostable is what you actually want as this breaks down into usable material for plants, bugs and microbes.
Had to re-upload this one, sorry for that guys haha...but what crazy stuff should we try next???
Tungsten powder tail or head weighted open pours. A company made them years ago and the were great. Kinda like the nail weights we use today
clothing or hair dye..
Alcohol inks
Try adding water to the jello first. Then adding it to the to the plastic. Not a lot just tiny bit. Would that work?

...the taste test...help I'm dying from that look 🤣 brave soul much respect
I have so much fun watching these bait making videos!
Looks pretty good! :)
very cool hand pours! merry Christmas!

I actually really like those red brush hogs!

That brush hog did look good when it finally worked.
Love watching.just ordered my 1st mold. Now looking for a quality but cheap dual injector.
You put it in a pan, heat it up stir it after light boil let it cool down, just like mom did ❤😊😊
“If Fruit by the Foot was in the shape of a crazy hog” that gave me a chuckle!
Haha
Do acrylic paints work???
Hey you made it work like always so great job lol. Have a Merry Christmas if we dont see you before hand and God Bless
Do you have any tricks for de-gassing/ getting all the air bubbles out without a vacuum chamber
I am thinking to do the same thing so just did a quick search found this cool video.
I made my first re melt tubes made some 🍉 red 👻 tubes I have some molds on the way! I love your videos, will ink powder work for a dye. Found some at hobby lobby.
And merry Christmas to you too and happy New Year

Dollar store bait making? What possible pigment, glitters, etc can you manage form the dollar store?
Man I think that cherry color is top notch! Like really if it wasn’t so hard to get the bubbles out man this would be the way to go
I am new to bait making and I watch all your videos but is it bad if I can smell the plastic even if I have a mask on
You answered my question
They actually looked great though
As a broke dude what brand of plastisol do you recommend? I made some injection molds from plaster and tried melting down old lures and I'm not getting the greatest results
Dead on plastic no matter what your budget is... You can maybe find some plastic for cheaper but it will have bad diminishing returns

Yes in theory you could probably make Jello inside the mold I guess
@@WorldsWorstFishing Jell-O part two. Wonder of sugarfree Jell-O would burn the same. Cherry or Chocolate looks like the only ones that had any color. Most others would be too vague of color.
The bubbles reminded of do-it plastic.
I would try those in a pressured lake i usually go

My question is : 😆Does Jello reacts in water or under the sun like candies... Melting?
You should try the sugar free jello. Even though I think the gelatin is screwing you as much as the sugar
They use unflavored gelatin to make biodegradable baits ( without plastic) You should try it plastic free.
Got 2 molds for Christmas
Great video kool-aid packets have no sugar in them that is why they worked Jello has a lot of sugar in it. Merry Christmas to you and your family
Jello is good for the environment. If a fish rips this bait off, it can digest it.
Take the crazy tests out fishing!
Make it with jello but without the plastic or see if you can make ice cube baits
Sugar free jello
I thought you were going to make the jello mix and pour into the molds haha
You should’ve used the jello pudding
Try calcium powder for a white belly!
Hmm yammy
I am going to try diet jelly since it doesn’t have sugar in it.
I’d still throw those red baits you made. I’m sure I’d get bites on em
I think really when you're using Kool-Aid or Jell-O, you're really just using powdered food coloring- didn't you use liquid food coloring one time?
Welcome back to the worlds worst t-shirt :D
🙌
Seen the vid pop up. Had me wondering what the heck !! Didn’t I watch this yesterday. Dang YT. Lol.
Still not trying it. Lol.
Yeah this one I do not recommend
Great a video as I start injecting. Perfect to listen too.
could you just make the jello, as per instructions, then inject?

Heat it then add the jello
Yup they took out all the bad cancer causing dyes.
Lol try again with sugar free jello
I would throw them
Why even try it.
