Man I wish I could catch a fish on a plopper style bait but they will not hit them around here anymore it seems. Matt I would like to see you do a recap of any new baits you used this year that you will keep in the rotation and those that won't make the cut. Like the dice baits and other you talked about earlier this season
Great bait choices Matt . Love the fall and early winter time of the year fishing . Can't wait for the transition to start . I like that Berkeley war pig color a must have . Thanks and tight lines !
Matt you are spot on. The fishing has been really tough The wobble head, Lucky Craft CB DR Fat-wide wobble and of course the Ozark Rig 1/8oz 4/0 with BBB 5 inch Jerk Minnow are my best baits right now. Great video
Agree on plopper type baits , I would included Buzz Baits in the mix and definitely square bills. I’ll hold up alittle on the lipless baits maybe more towards Halloween 🤔 Thanks for making this video today.
Them Academys killing it on top. That's for sure. Designed by the pros and worth every penny. I ordered twice as a mistake on eBay and had to give some away. Haven't had the chance to use them, but the news came back as a winner. Now on to the Mooch and Rago! Am looking for a cheaper alternative to that stickybait The Cast OG. I think I might have found in in the Smith, although am considering Strategic or Blaze Garage or Angry Panda....maybe the Jack Fin. But eh, I'm just a freshwater fisherman and someone whom people say is a nobody.
Here’s a good question. You can use every brand of crankbait from now on in your career but you can only use one Berkley crankbait from now on. What’s your pick? I’m going with Frittside.
@jamesbarron1202 good choice. I'd go with the money badger. Cuz them have the most detailed depth choices. And a smaller profile. Unless by 1, you mean you can only have 1 total. Then yea, fritz it is

Good call
Is that a snap swivel on the Choppo? Does that help with the bait wanting to roll?
Reduces line twist

Holds true for guys out west as well
Thanks for sharing Matt
You bet!

Sounds good!
Good bait tips Matt 🤛
Glad you enjoyed!
Sounds like you’ve been hanging with some of us southerners…Heard that “minner bait” come through before being corrected lol
haha
Definitely cooling off here in IOWA.
Yep
I added pompoms to my poppers. I'll tell you what happens when and if I decide to do my channel.
Let’s see!
Great information
Glad it was helpful!

@@NeilGraham.I.M.F yeah I mean only one size and depth range
Dime or money badger
These are the videos i like. Along with others .I got to throw that wobble head . Thanks for every thing.
Glad you like them!
Thanks Matt
You bet
Not my place to say but. Dont overlook a ole spinnerbait! White double willow
Agreed
Pond I fish a few times a week, last 4 bass were spinnerbait bass 😉
Spinnerbaits are hard to beat in the fall in my opinion.
I liked those baits
Me too
Matt. What terminal tackle are you using on your Choppo? Thanks
A sampo swivel to reduce line twist
Gotta have a minner bait I reckon. lol
Doesn’t hurt
Are the baits for lake pond or river?
Both
Ppl commonly put feathered trebles on top water lures but I've not seen anyone except myself and you put one on a choppo
It works so good
@@MattStefanFishing I feel like it does.
Sssssssh.. 🤐😏...
Sounds like a future B.A.S.S. clue!
Haha
I was thinking the same thing😅
Man 11 view. 5 spam comments. Reported them, and they disappeared. For how long idk
But Matt is such a inspiration to them all with so much knowledge and I forgot the other spam comments. You're right about it though.
@itllkeal right. It's way out of control.
I delete them every day
@@MattStefanFishing it's insane. You'd think they'd fix it
🍺🤠👍.
🍻
Thanks Matt
