  • In this solidworks tutorial, we will explore basic stress simulation using solidworks FEA on a simple L bracket in stainless steel. I will show you how to interpret the results of the solidworks stress simulation as well.

Hi, how accurately does solidworks predict failure? A force of 3500 lbs seems a bit too high for a SS bracket to fail. I would have guessed it would fail at around 300lbs. Also, I would like to see more FEA videos like this in the future

Is it possible to do dynamic stress analysis? As I have a moving forces.

What is the music for? You don't speak all that clearly either. I just can't get through this. All I want is some help with stress. Stress in the parts, that is, I have enough stress in my life trying to figure out a software solution to a problem that I already did by hand to verify the software results. The CAD part has wasted 3 hours of my life with the Indians that I can't understand, the guy that made a pipe and sketched a W-Beam over it, and now music that is distracting. Can't I get something besides the 1 hour long professor with simple words and without beams that have joints?

@@HowitsDesigned any chance you can re-upload with teh msic out? Same goes for any other vids from your channel if the same issue applies? I bet you'll get a lot more attention because the content did seem good. Was like trying to learn while the radio is on a channel I don't like. was counterintuitive to successful outcome
