You need a jacket on now! Chris sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl this year, grown men cried. I appreciate your reaction to this song, I am not a country girl but I make room for Chris on my playlist.
I generally don't care for country music, but I love Chris Stapleton. He's for sure got country in his stuff, but so, so much more, too. He's almost in a genre by himself.
Love that man. Chris is amazing. Welcome to the Chris Stapleton fan club so many more great songs. Love you Love your reaction. Keep on with all your gteat work. Love U too! ❤
He has always had that Soulful Bluesy Tone. Singing Traditional Country at songwriter conferences, Progressive Bluegrass with Steeldrivers, Southern Rock with Jompson Brothers or his now trademark style of Outlaw Country. I'm just glad I discovered him back in 2009 when he was with the Steeldrivers. I could easily have went another 6 years to the 2015 CMAs without hearing him if I hadn't decided to attend that Bluegrass Festival.
Chris Stapleton sings the blues. Country and blues rock. Try I was wrong at the Austin city limits. His jam session at the end. The great B.B. KING would be proud. It's a man's world by the late great James Brown. The band called Chris out of the audience. Watch the band members reaction. A must see.
This song just seems to define heartbreak. As I commented on another persons reaction, this song makes me feel actual pain for Chris and what that woman did to him. Lol.
Love to listen to Chris & Morgane Stapleton sing both have beautiful vocals. Here's a song with them singing together in the studio "Chris Stapleton & Morgane Stapleton perform "Where Rainbows Never Die" (Live Farmaid)" I would agree with you that Chris's music crosses over into the blues and has gospel elements throughout his songs. You have a very good ear 👍🏼👂🏼Lovely reaction
Ok you want to watch his live performances which sound better than his recordings. 1. Live impromptu performance of It’s A Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World 🌎 2. Sometimes I Cry 😢 live at the Bing Lounge 3. I Was Wrong live at Austin City Limits 4. Cold 🥶 live at the 2021 CMA 5. Hold On duet with H.E.R. at the CMA’s I think 2020. 6. Medley Duet with Justin Timberlake of Tennessee Whiskey 🥃/I Can’t Drink You Away CMA’s not sure of the year. 7. Live Duet with Jennifer Hudson at some awards show can’t remember the songs. 8. Tennessee Whiskey live performance at Austin City Limits. 9. Official Music Video Fire Away 10. Official Music Video Say Something Duet with Justin Timberlake. 11. DeathRow live performance at some country music awards show. There’s much more and before he became a singer he was a master guitarist and songwriter for many famous artists across genres so you probably know his work. You can Google that and get a list of songs and artists. I’m still working on that.
He was also in a bluegrass group called The Steeldrivers and they have a live version of their song called "Blue Side of the Mountain" that is pure fire. The video is titled Steeldrivers w/Chris Stapleton Blue Side of the Mountain. You won't regret watching it.
Enjoyed your Reaction. Country is the last genre that remains: Real Songwriters, Musicians, Vocalist. And, that will never change. And this includes the lost art of: Enunciation of words.
I love your reaction. I love the way you appreciated the performance. He is a wonderful blues singer. He exudes passion and makes you feel the song and it’s meaning. I love this performance. The band is also wonderful because the combination of the strings and the guitar and blues feeling of the song is so sweet.
Kain Brown's song Heaven is another beautiful song that feels like a mix of country and blues, Brodnax Samurai for a country rap that will surprise you (if u have, sry) TY for a wonderful reaction.
Why does people always talk about genres? For me this is totally unimportant. I like a song, or i don't like it, no matter what Genre one might put it into! Margret from Germany 😊
The complete arrangement of the song was a masterclass!! Those violins in the back killed it too. One of the best I’ve ever seen
Chris Stapleton is one of a handful of artists that sounds way better live than anyone can ever do for him on record
Some smooth country R&B.
Chris Stapleton is a bad man.
He as cold as ice 🧊
best artist alive right now
I felt that.
You need a jacket on now! Chris sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl this year, grown men cried. I appreciate your reaction to this song, I am not a country girl but I make room for Chris on my playlist.
It’s only right, he turning out to be a living legend
I generally don't care for country music, but I love Chris Stapleton. He's for sure got country in his stuff, but so, so much more, too. He's almost in a genre by himself.
perfection
I love this performance so much 🖤
One of my favorites so far
This my favorite Chris Stapleton song so far!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I can’t think of 1 person, NOT ONE, that could sing this song any better than Chris
Sometimes I Cry is another blues masterpiece by him.
Singing in front of his peers: standing ovation
Tell them I’m without you, not I’m fine without you. He’s in unit fine 😢
Great reaction. I have not heard anything from him yet that I would say was "meh". Such a consistently phenomenal artist.
Love that man. Chris is amazing. Welcome to the Chris Stapleton fan club so many more great songs. Love you Love your reaction. Keep on with all your gteat work. Love U too! ❤
Thanks so much!!
Beautiful song.. great reaction.
If you have the chance to see him in concert do it. He’s incredible live.
Going to see him in June!!
I want to see him badly!
The only one of his songs I love more than this one is You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive with Patty Loveless. He is just unbelievable. Thank you.
This man is on a whole another level
The man definitely knows how to deliver!❤
There was more talent and emotion in that one performance than the entirety of the Grammys. Just put Chris on stage and the rest can enjoy the show.
Chris Stapleton should not be put in any genre. His voice cuts out of any box.

The same as Elvis. He also covered almoust every genre
Chris could sing the A B C’s and win a CMA award!!!’

He is to Country as Tom Macdonald is to Rap!
Except Chris Stapleton is talented Tom McDonald has no business being discussed in the same way as Chris.
@Kim-rf5et Wow... so ya HATE Tom Macdonald, and I have no right speak!
Gotcha... whatever your pronouns are!
Sometimes I Cry and another I Was Wrong by Chris (live versions)...chils
Heartbreaking song. A blindside.

Please react to Sometimes I Cry (live at the Bing Lounge). His vocals are unbelievable. Sometimes I wonder if he's even human.!
He's my favorite and I don't listen to Country music. That man could sing about a bottle of water and cause you to drop out due to thirst!!
He nor ren fit into a category 🤔🤔
Oh wouldn’t it be cool if they made a song together!!!
We ow that would be crazy lol
🔥🔥🔥 Check out "I Was Wrong" at Austin City Limits for more fire 🔥😍😍😍

BB King is living in a bearded white country dude....
Check out Death Row
He's country. Just ask him.
Why does people always talk about genres? For me this is totally unimportant. I like a song, or i don't like it, no matter what Genre one might put it into!
Margret from Germany 😊
Chris is not country. He transcends genres.
Real music instead of Ghetto Grunts
Great
