Death stranding has great visuals but even if you do look around and try to explore you will find nothing . I’m not trying to hate on the game for no reason I’m just giving valid criticism
I remember this moment vividly. I tried driving the only bike I had towards the objective only to be surrounded by time fall and BTs. I had to leave my bike to rust and hike through the rocky terrain doing my best to avoid the BTs. After entering a cave-like structure it opened up to the side of a hill, leaving Port Knot City firmly in my grasps. The rain stopped. I carefully slid down the hill side whilst balancing my cargo. @@perfectdark7445 Is this aimed at me or someone else? I never said people had to buy it right away. I just hope some people do at some point and give the game a chance!
I remember getting to that moment where I had tar all over me, my shoes had just fallen apart and I could barely carry my cargo but it was so satisfying getting to that point. Such a good game.
I tried taking a bike that another player had left behind up the mountain pass, ended up getting caught in the BT's there, accidentally drove right into one and had to dive off the bike as quick as I could and try and run as fast as I could. Ended up slipping on some rocks and tumbled, almost losing a bunch of my packages down the mountain. It was beyond intense, haven't felt like that in a game in a long time, just this huge struggle trying to get up that damn mountain while surrounded by ghosts. Then once I finally fought through hell to get over the peak, the weather starts to clear while this song played and my destination appeared in the ditance. Most games a simple walk up a mountain would be absolutely nothing but Death Stranding managed to make simple traversal an art form, then to reward you with this absolutely stunning moment at the end of it all is nothing short of perfect. Death Stranding is definitely a divisive game but moments like this cemented as one of the best games I've ever played.
This is one of those amazing moments where you battled it out with BT’s and Mules half dead and carrying almost max cargo weight and a song like this plays as you see your destination over the horizon and can feel the weight slowly being lifted. For such simple mechanics Kojima manages to make it possible to put yourself in Sam’s shoes. Just like a good book or movie a video game like this is a work of art and deserves to be showcased as such. I haven’t yet completed the game I just made it to Northern part of map. On my way to save Amalie ( sorry if I mispelled ) but damn moments like this make me keep playing Death Stranding and have made it possible for me to become obsessed with gaming again.

Damn this game is amazing i finished it for the fourth time today and still want to play it again.
Death Stranding is a beautiful game. I quite understand that it’s not for everyone but for those who enjoy it and see it through to the end, it is truly sublime. Moments like these are so well considered by Kohima and this was such a breath of fresh air after the battle to get there. Seeing the scenery open up and no hint of threat is fantastic... and then the music kicks in. For me. Death Stranding is the most rewarding game I have played. It’s more than a game, it’s an experience.

I will never forget this one moment, last episode, the very "last" delivery from the story, and then the song I heard my first time, holy shit I don't spoil something, but everyone here finished the game, know the pain. It was just one of the most wonderful moments i've ever had in a Videogame. Thank you hideo kojima
Seeing the city from the top of the hill was breathtaking. Once the song started, it helped me relax after the tense sneaking in the narrow pass. BB also enjoyed the trip down the hill.
The love that Kojima and his team put into this game is grand. With the atmosphere, the landscapes, the soundtrack, the characters, and the feeling of connectivity I feel with not only other players, but also with the world of this game and my journey through it, I can help but admire it all
Kojima transformed that feeling when you're listening music in the car/bus thinking like you are in a videoclip to a videogame script. One of my dreams to see in a videogame. Kojima being fired from Konami was the one of the best things happened on the industry, finally his peculiar mind is free to make pieces of art like this. About Kojima; i respected the work he did with Metal Gear Saga, but i didn't like it at all cuz imo, since the 3rd game, the saga went to shit and cause he was a little bit overrated... But with this game, man, him and his team nailed it.
I agree with the rest of MGS series, but not 5 it was truly a great game despite being incomplete. This game I 100% agree sets in ride with the world Kojima creates and I want him to make so many more games like it.
For those moments , im so glad to be alone in the game and have troubles to keep going with Sam tired and full of delivery things on his back. so many feelings with that game
I feel sad for people who said this game is trash and won't ever try playing it again in this lifetime. One day we will be gone, but the feeling when this game clicked with us is and will always be one of the most beautiful feelings we had a chance to experience
This is the same feels when Snake is climbing up the mountains and Snake eater song plays way back in MGS3. thats very unforgettable. as well as the boss fight during the last showdown. Owh Hideo you're a legend!
Imagine. After a long bad day. You turned on your ps4 and start playing this game. Then this is the scene at the time. Walking around. Music kicks in. Breathtaking sights. I was dumb and drove my bike with hardly any gear up the hill. Got swarmed by BTs multiple times, and BB went into shock for the first time. I was able to escape on the bike. I'll never forget hearing this song as I was just going down the mountain on the bike as fast as I could. Sam was even calling out to BB to make sure it was okay. I was so emotional and scared worried that I wouldn't make it and that I had done something horrible to BB. Amazing game, to be able to make a normal moment in any game seem like a cinematic race against time all with the use of a song. So good

The love that Kojima and his team put into this game is grand. With the atmosphere, the landscapes, the soundtrack, the characters, and the feeling of connectivity I feel with not only other players, but also with the world of this game and my journey through it, I can help but admire it all
Watching him carry an absurd amount of packages cracks me up. Halfway down finds another package and throws it on top 😂
People make this game harder then then it needs to be sometimes. 🤦🏻♀️😆 LMAOO
But I admire his resolve! 💪🏼😤📦💯
I literally stop and just started to shed a tear…that was an incredible moment for me
When i reached this moment, i just slowed down so that the music would have all the time it needs to finish. The vibe was really something ...
All his games are fucking epic including phantom pain and mgs4 lol 😂
For those moments , im so glad to be alone in the game and have troubles to keep going with Sam tired and full of delivery things on his back.
so many feelings with that game
Best videogame this year!
When that music started playing I just stood there for a minute with a genuine feeling of that pride and accomplishment we heard so much about.
It's even funnier when you got a tall tower of cargo on your back and this song kicks in as you almost fall down 😂
I rode in on the bike while this kicked in..thank god I was streaming..beautiful moment!!!
"They told me your name was Sam Porter, but you're Sam Bridges" - it doesn't get more poignant and meaningfull than that, it really doesn't.
I feel sad for people who said this game is trash and won't ever try playing it again in this lifetime. One day we will be gone, but the feeling when this game clicked with us is and will always be one of the most beautiful feelings we had a chance to experience
This is a beautiful moment that you enter into a second world💕💕
Best song of the game. I heard it another time at the top of the big Mountain in the south 😍😍😍
Yah I got chills at this part because I barely made it with my bike I was so happy this was epic
This is one of my favourite moments so far, only halfway so far but this game is great
This is the same feels when Snake is climbing up the mountains and Snake eater song plays way back in MGS3. thats very unforgettable. as well as the boss fight during the last showdown. Owh Hideo you're a legend!
I somehow managed to lose a fight to a BT a few minutes before this, but the moment was nevertheless unforgettable
Imagine. After a long bad day. You turned on your ps4 and start playing this game. Then this is the scene at the time. Walking around. Music kicks in. Breathtaking sights. Tears flow down your cheeks. You stopped walking. And let it all out. Then you realised. It isn't so bad. And continue to be stonger. And said. "This life. Must go on."
Nigga you started crying??!!😂😂
@@Thats-What-We-Dewwwww I did. I'm struggling with my mind. Sometimes, I'm okay. Sometimes there are shits all over my mind. Family. Career. Sickness. This and that. Things just came into my mind all at once. If it really2 bad. I can't sleep. Hard to breathe. Just lying on my bed for a few hours just like that. But then. I'm able to sleep. Woke up in the morning. Just like CJ said. Here we go again.
It's like life 🤷♂️
At this moment I realised that im playing something truly special
Everyone: "Can video games really be 'art'?"
Hideo Kojima: "Hold my 酒."
i had goosebumps as soon as port knot come into view and just sat there by a rock 1/3rd of the way down and listened to the song while watching the ocean
are ppl blind? this game is masterpiece
People aren't blind, they just want to play an enjoyable game that is fun, there's nothing wrong with disliking this game, although the the story is cool, the gameplay is so fuckin boring
@@thebogarts6191 it's strange, it's like deliberately unfun to tell a story about pain and loneliness
@@joaquinbadman9678 true
goosebumps galore when the music started playing in the game.
I literally stop...and tears started to come out of my eyes...I had a flashback to 1999 with MGS
I always say that death stranding was a post apocalypse post man pat simulator but the sound track mixed with the timing of everything one of my best birthday weekend ill always remember
LOL your video really sum up my experience with Death Stranding as well, struggling to go down hill with too many cargo on my back.....and then WOOOOO RESIN!!!
So good
